Kyrion awoke on the floor of a white room with various spell wards placed on each wall. A cursory glance showed him that if he used any magic to get out, the wards would sense the threat and activate. Sending in a poisonous gas that would probably kill most people. Kyrion had a method for dealing with poisons, however.
“I came here willingly. Why am I in a containment field? Do you actually believe you can keep me also do you think you can keep me here for an extended period of time?”
There was no response for a long moment before an older man answered. “Why did you come to this world? Are you a threat to or an ally? Can you be trusted?”
“Oooh, questions. Sadly, you didn’t answer mine first. Mr.Roswel Jenkins.” Kyrion crossed his hands together like a businessman. They would need leverage to keep him here if they wanted to trap him. Otherwise, he’d just escape; the people of this world don’t have control over dimensional magic.
“How do you know that…”
“Name? Simple, I know all the names of the senior staff of this branch. Well, the Window Cleaners, going by the sniffling behind you, I can tell Mr.Caldin Briggs is behind you and hasn’t gotten over his spring allergies.” Kyrion’s new eye focused on one of the cameras watching him and began to glow as he sent his Divine Essence directly into the device. The wards didn’t trigger, and Kyrion could send a part of his mind into their system to move around unnoticed. It was a strange ability for him to have in this world. Although it was curious. Felt no different than when he shared his senses via plants.
“We will resort to torture to get answers, kid.”
“So you are going to come in here, gouge out my eyes and pour boiling wax into my eye sockets? I mean, you’re welcome to try. But it wouldn’t be the first time.” Kyrion invoked a bit of his instability and hid a lie in his reply.
“We’d start with beatings.”
“I can go a year without sleep if I push it. I will sit here and kill anyone who comes in here. Sadly you fail to realize something.”
“You have reinforcements?”
“No…Well yes. But no, I’m not stuck here with you. You all are trapped here with a vehicle of death and destruction. I’m just here on vacation.” Kyrion scratched at his neck, the weasel he’d brought along having slipped off while dragged away.
The mic was cut off shortly after, but by that point, Kyion’s consciousness was already in that room, greedily lapping up any information it could find.
“Captain, Kingston! Get in here.”
Kingston walked in and looked at a screen where he could swear a cocky kid was staring right back at him. Said kid winked knowingly, and none of the others saw.
“I asked my people to take him to the guest quarters. Why is he in a highly explosive holding cell?”
“He’s a dangerous fire demon. We must contain him and have him tell us everything he knows.”
“That is unwise, do you wish to make a new enemy when you’re close to retirement?”
“Please. The brat will die soon enough of starvation.”
“Well if you have everything figured out. Why call me here?”
“You went against protocall when you didn’t have him chained with suppressors.”
“Do you think, handcuffs with a weak mana negation field could keep him contained?”
“It worked on the others.”
“The others wern’t this dangerous. We have people connected to the Janitors. Do you really want to lose your standing?”
“Tell us. How do we convince him to listen to us?”
“Threaten to keep him away from the others who need medical care. That would really get you on his targeting list. Should that lead to civilian deaths when he had proven willing before you kidnapped him however. You would be to blame.”
“No Kingston, you would take the heat for that.” The older man shook his head.
“You could try to buy him food. He seemed quite hungry. But we don’t know if his kind are cannibals.”
“How do you…Aggg!” The older man started before a loud click went off next to his ears.
A man with pale white hair and blue eyes walked out of the corner, holding what appeared to be a smoking gun.
“Senior Captain. To think you’d detain someone willingly helping strangers prior to questioning. I must ask, is this due to his caramel skin tone, or did you have a good reason that you failed to address.”
“He is at least fourth circle in power.”
“Fourth circle ey? Then you really shouldn’t have detained him.”
“They also threatened torture. I’ve heard worse from scarier. But hey they didn’t try to eat me so…” Kyrion scowled as information on the white-haired man wouldn’t appear.
“How did you get out of there!”
“I punched, threw a few walls snuck past some guards and walked on in.”
“How are you here and in the cell then?”
“Am I truly in the cell if I’m standing right here?”
“We didn’t detect any magic.”
“If left alone for two minutes I could bring this entire underworld crashing down and still escape alive.”
“How will you handle this senior captain? It seems your guest has gone for a walk and is irritated.”
“Kevin! Send some guards to the containment wing!”
“I’m locked out! Something locked me out!”
A green eye appeared on every monitor in the building briefly before everything went black.
“Did he shut off the power!”
“Someone turn on the emergency breaker!”
“It isn’t working!”
After a minute of panic, everything came back on, and both red-haired young men were gone.
One of the men’s radios rang and was immediately answered. “Status report!”
“All of the guests were suddenly healed. Yet there are no signs of the red haired man. Our sensors detect trace amounts of mana lingering in all their bodies.”
Kingston tried to hold in stressed laughter. “He went and healed them himself, since we were making things difficult. Guess he was trying to be cooperative before.”
“That can be seen. If that were the case, did we make a powerful enemy?”
“No. But if he was telling the truth, check in with our other branches. I suspect quite a few of our own were electrocuted.”
“Did anyone manage to get his name?” The white-haired man asked. “No, of course not. Ha;f are you are incompetent. Kingston, you have been promoted to a lieutenant position in my unit. Effective immediately. If you prove useful I suspect that you may be made into a captain by the end of the week.”

“You can’t just poach him?”
“Why? You were going to have him fired for insubordination anyways, via majority vote while his people were away. I recommend you start gathering your things as the underworld has no place for fools.”
The older men hurried out of the room with many of their belongings. The window cleaners were a smaller branch tasked with infiltration. Sadly, many Janitors were masters in that field as well. They decided to form a partnership. The window faction, however, had taken quite a hit today and wouldn’t regain the trust they lost any time soon.
----------------------------------------
Ander appeared in a large city with buildings and lights. He walked around a bit as his brain struggled to keep passing electric waves off of himself. Still, he kept getting information uploaded into his brain in a language he didn’t understand.
Turning to his left, he saw a woman about a foot taller than him, giving him a curious look. She was wearing a strange pink dress with sparkles and a bright pink wig.
“Are you in cosplay as well?” She asked in her language.
“Sorry. I don’t understand.” Ander squinted at the strange woman’s sparkles.
The young woman squinted a bit and tried another language.
Ander sighed as he put his spear behind him. “Listen, I’m going to try tracing your brainwaves. I need to be close ok?”
“What language is–” The woman took a backstep in surprise.
Ander stood on his tip toes and grabbed both of the woman’s cheeks before sending a bolt of lightning from his mouth into hers from about four inches apart. The bolts traced signals and patterns before returning to him moments later.
“This is a tricky tongue you speak.” Ander shook his head as the electricity in his system ran through his brain, pasting the language data in his brain.
“Y-you just kissed me!”
“No? No I did not. I made sure our lips didn’t come into contact.”
“Y-you! I felt a spark!”
Ander looked about after sensing killing intent. “That was lightning. Can you fight?”
“You kissed me!”
“She isn’t listening.” Ander sighed as he picked the taller woman up and jumped onto a lamppost from a standing position. From there, he lept atop a building and continued to jump from building to building, evading his pursuers. For some odd reason, they put effort into keeping up. That’s when it hit him.
“Put me down!”
“Ok. Wait here. I’ve been looking forward to a brawl ever since I learned of this world.”
Ander jumped off the very tall building and landed in the middle of a group of men wielding various improvised melee weapons, from baseball bats to sticks. One individual had even procured a bicycle. The strongest was a man around two feet taller than him with black hair and blue eyes. His expression was rugged, and his build was based on power.
“Where is our young mistress?”
“Your what?”
“The woman you kidnapped.”
“Oh her? Shes… You’ll have to beat me if you want me to tell you where she is.”
“Do you not know who we are?”
“Don’t know, it doesn’t matter, let’s fight.” Ander picked up a broomstick and brandished it like a spear.
“You’re outnumbered!”
“I know…”
“Why did you kidnap our lady!”
“A whim.”
“Now either you start or I start.”
The first wave was defeated so fast that passersby assumed lightning must have struck from above, as ten warriors were beaten in a flash of light.
Ander sighed. “None of you are enhanced. Guess I’ll give you a handicap.”
“Brother. I didn’t see him move from that position.”
“Which family are you from and what’s your name?”
“Speak yours first.” Ander hit the side of his head.
“I am Yamato, the Unbreakable,of the Aikawa Clan.”
“Ander Fulwind, Drisil’s Demonic White Tiger.” Ander truly wanted to see if his opponent was unbreakable.
“Ander? Is he a foreigner?” One of the grunts asked.
“I am as foreign as it gets.” Ander dropped his broom and entered into a tiger stance with both hands prepped to strike.
“Is that so? Your features don’t seem western. Mixed blood?”
“Does it matter? Most of my family shares these features.” Ander eyed the opening in everyone’s forms and scowled. They had the fighting experience but not with fighting people stronger, faster, and deadlier.”
“Just testing the waters.” Yamoto moved quickly, faster than most human eyes could track, and aimed a jab at Ander’s throat while simultaneously sending a twisting punch at his gut.
Ander, seeing the next move coming, grabbed both wrists and jumped. Using his strength, he flipped Yamato over and brought him to the ground.
Yamato did get back up but found that both of his arms had been broken. He didn’t seem bothered. “You took me out of the fight.”
“No…My hope. Give it back.”
“Please. Just return the Bosses daughter.”
“Will I get another fight if I refuse?”
“No. We’ll just call the bureaucrats, which hurts our pride. I assume you don’t have any travel papers.”
“I’ll go get her, but not because you threatened me with paperwork. I want to help you.”
“Is that so?”
Ander jumped from wall to wall and wound up back on top of the building.
“Have you calmed down yet?” Ander asked bluntly.
“You left me on top of a building.”
“Did you want to see the fight from a closer range?”
“What fight?”
“Well young miss. Would you like to get down?”
“Yes. Then I’ll call the cops.”
“Are those the guys on the ground?”
The young woman looked off the roof and then looked back at Ander.
“Are you ready to go?”
The woman in the wig sighed before the two slowly floated down from the building.
“Did you just fly?”
Ander laughed. “That was just falling slowly. Flight is much different.”
“Uh huh. You’re strong for a little kid.”
Ander’s feet touched the ground. “Listen, I’m about seven ten, that doesn’t make me a kid.”
“It kind of does. Have you finished grade school yet?”
“I go to an elite academy for fighting. Please don’t refer to me as a little kid again.” Ander said with a squint.
“Where is that?” The woman calmed down and examined his face carefully, not sure if she should still be embarrassed. He did just say he was seven.
“In a place far far away?” Ander wasn’t helping his case.
“Like Spain?”
“What’s a Spain? Can I fight it?”
“Nevermind. You don’t seem like the type with many friends.”
“I have friends, tons of them. We fight like twice a week. Sometimes three times.”
“So. How will you take responsibility?” The woman looked down at Ander.
“For what?”
“Kissing me, then beating up my father’s subordinates.”
Ander felt a spark of interest. “Is this father of yours, strong?” Ander’s face was easily readable.
“You want to fight him, don’t you?”
“I’m not that predictable, am I?” Ander scowled.
“Your brutish actions speak louder than anything you can tell me. What you told me doesn’t help your case.”
“Huh. I’m losing my touch. When did I get surrounded?”
A man in a white suit got out of the back seat of a black car. His black hair was slicked back, and a pair of spectacles covered his eyes.
“Headmaster? How in the Hell did you get here?”
“I don’t know what world you come from, but I am no headmaster of yours. Surrender now and we won’t have to resort to undesirable means of getting you to follow us.”
“That sounds like a fight.” Lightning sparkled between his fingers.
“I will not fight you, unless you come with us.”
“Do you only see me as a battle lust driven maniac?”
“We can’t use abilities in public. We have a friend of yours in custody at another branch.”
“Oh right. Kyrion. I doubt he’s going to still be in custody by the time I get in the car. He’s someone who can’t be bound unless he’s willing to be.”
“Is that so?”
“I also don’t imagine him misbehaving too much. Kyr is a bit soft compared to me. He could go on a killing spree if left unchecked. But his own sense of morals prevent him from doing so. He was likely betrayed for some apparent reason if he was captured while asleep.”
“How are you aware he was asleep?”
“He can’t be captured while awake. The same way he will be on the lamb by the time we get in that car. It won’t help you that he also has the world on his side.” Ander took the pink-haired woman by the hand and entered the car.
“So, Mr.Fulwind, why did you choose to kidnap me?”
As the car drove off from the location. Ander asked a question that had been bothering him.
“I have a simple question that’s been bothering me since we met. Why are you wearing a wig?”
