//Authors Note-The act of "Inspecting" a target in blank is not a skill. "normal" mobs will give info, along with select elites and bosses. There are spells to provide this information when it is not available. A player must simply look at a target and if the information is available it will appear in the players mind. This is something I have been meaning to bring up. //

The darkness surrounding us was supernaturally created and maintained by the dungeon. This became apparent as we tried out multiple sources of light.
I pulled out a torch and it was extinguished immediately, even my magical weapon couldn't give off any light.
"Geez this is annoying.." Tide complained.
"What about elemental transfusion? We have never tried the light element." I spoke out loud, mostly to myself.
"Good idea! I'll make a light golem!" Tide joyously exclaimed.
I used an elemental transfusion scroll on my main hand weapon. "Light!"
For the first time the corridor lit up and revealed our surroundings as my sword turning a bright white color that beat back the darkness. The walls were carved with detailed decorations that depicted the shadow(dark✴) element.
Tide used his scroll and his original golem(ben) became a four foot tall pillar of bright fluctuating luminescent light. The golem produced more light than my sword and allowed us to see down the corridor for about 40 feet.

Three elementals stood in the way.
One was pitch black, and made of shadow.

The second elemental appeared to be a shadow wrapped in dark red leather armor, resembling a humanoid. It had long deadly sharp blades jutting out from its arms in lieu of hands. It also wore a menacing twin spiked helm made of some dark metal. Bright red fiery eyes made the elite chaos elemental appear incredibly vicious.

The third elemental was vaguely humanoid shaped and made of shadow. It carried a wicked looking scythe in one hand, and wore a hood of shadow that mostly obscured the face of a skeleton beneath.

I looked at the unusual group of elementals in bewilderment, "What an odd group? Is it random? "
Tide shook his head, "No, I think I get it. Shadow is the core element for chaos and death magic(necromancy) Much like Light is the core element for order, illusion, enchanting, and nature(life) magic. Shadow is the core element to corruption magic as well, but their does not appear to be an elemental.. " Tide trailed off, seeming to lose his train of thought.
I nodded, "Ok..soooo"
"Oh yeah, so the elementals in front of us have a clear opposite. Order vs Chaos. Life vs Death. Light vs Shadow. The difference from before is that these elements are each others weakness as well as strength. "
"Hmm, that complicates things, but we can handle it. By the way we should make some scrolls before we start. "
"Holy crap the heiroglpyh! How could I forget!" Tide cried as he rushed to get his materials gathered.
He made us 10 of each variation of scrolls that we currently had in our possession. We used elemental transfusion to change the scrolls we still had and the new ones to Order, Light, and life.
I had been pondering the chaos elemental, and the difficulty we would soon face. I had a plan, but it felt pretty cheap.
"Before you guys get to far into strategy, I have a plan. " I told the others.
Olaf smiled, his face lighting up, "Alright! Let hear it."
"It's pretty simple." Lifting my hand I pointed a finger at Olaf, "Your gonna kill everything!"
