"I know you don't believe me, I'm just an Artificial Intelligence to you. If you say they can't track us here, we need to get in this dungeon. Invite me to the group. I'll explain inside." The prince explained, gesturing to the dungeon entrance.
Tide was the first to speak, "My mind is so blown right now.."
I felt the same way. Olaf was an AI, and yet he was claiming to be a player. What the hell? Only one way to find out.
I sent a group request to Olaf.
He accepted and I saw his information in the corner of my vision.
Level 7 Emperor
Holy shit, it worked.
A minute later we had entered the dungeon and the exit closed behind us.
Tide immediately began to assault the prince with his questions, "What class is that? Are you from earth? Are you an alien?"
"I don't know where I am from. " The prince said solemnly, "I only know that like you I once had a consciousness that existed in a fleshly body. I know that I am not like the others, those that you call AI. I remember being under the same haze that they live in. To not even know the name of the world you live in. This place has a way of forcing them to not be able to understand things like stats, and levels. "
"Whoah, that's crazy. ", I said, " A big thing with this game was that you could name the world what you wanted and it would translate it to those around you so you would hear the name you originally chose."
Olaf nodded, "Yes, and to them, this name you give gets translated into a word that means nothing. Again and again, these invisible translations and manipulations occur in the background. I do not want to be lord of a nameless land. "
"Mine is named Azeroth. ", Tide said apologetically, " So to me you would be lord of Azeroth, I'm just saying...So your an alien then! This is so cool!."
"I don't know if I'm an alien." Olaf said with a confused look, " I first began to remember things when Thorn brought me to the secret cellar. It was something you said. " Olaf looked me in the eyes and continued, "I asked you if you feared death and do you remember what you told me?"
"A man would die a thousand deaths with a thousand breaths imaging his end. For with the same air, and a confident glare fathom a thousand victories instead. " I said, as I recalled words spoken to me by my father.

Olaf smiled, "Indeed, someone once told me the same thing, and that saying brought me back. Its only brief flashes of memory, not enough to piece anything together. But I promise to let you know if I turn out to be an alien, Tide. "
"That would be awesome! Wouldnt it be awesome if he's an alien Thorn! Thorn! Are you ok?" Tide said as he poked me.
I had become lost in my own thoughts.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine, Olaf we promise to not treat you any different than anyone else would. I really wanted you to come here to level up so you guys let me handle the Avatars and just focus on the dungeon. "
"Is that how you used the Avatars power? " Olaf questioned, " With the magic from the dungeon?"
"You copied an Avatar spell!" Tide exclaimed, "What was it!"
"We can talk about all of this later, " I said as I gestured at the dungeon below us, " It seems the entire dungeon reset. We have to start over. "
The corridor before us held a single flame elemental.
I asked Tide if he was able to get anything in town but he was limited in his ability to purchase due to funds running short.
He was able to get 6 blizzard scrolls which would do massive damage to the boss at the end of the first stage. He also procured more crafting supplies.
I checked my own inventory and since
one of my weapons was already ice I used my change element scroll on my rank 2 main hand changing it to ice as well.
Olaf was very interested in this scroll
and the magic it contained.
We told him about the different experimentation we had done with it but had to explain that we only had one left. Though hopefully, we would receive the opportunity to make more at the end of the first floor.
The Prince had been given awesome gear to propel his power leveling requirement. He had an awesome fire enchanted broadsword, which would do little good in this part of the dungeon. Tide felt bad and used our last elemental transfusion scroll to change it to ice. He was convinced we could make more.
The prince's class was also interesting. As an emperor, he had "Aura" powers that affected all group members.
One was named Aura of the king which gave a 25% increase in all stats to all group members within 40 feet.
He could maintain up to two auras at this level and his second aura was called Aura of focus-25% increased critical chance to all group members within 40 feet.
With the two of us all buffed up, we attacked the lone level 5 elemental and destroyed him in a few hits.
Ding!
You have slain level 5 flame elemental
Gained 300 experience!(146,595/180,000).
There were 28 more flame elementals on this floor, so as we killed them I explained to Olaf how to dodge the basic firebolt. He picked it up quickly and together we quickly cleared the floor.
You have slain x28 level 5 elementals!
Gained 8400 experience! ( 154,995/180,000)
I paused for a moment to reflect before activating the boss.
The only difference in any human is drive, self-motivation. What makes you push a little bit more, desire more, pass boundaries and press extremes.
When the world tries to tell you to stay in your lane, live within your means, leave your dreams for others to complete, what foolishness!
Dream! Desire! For only you are the orchestrator of your own happiness, and only by focusing upon your victory will you succeed.
I imagined my victory against my foes and felt it as though it was real, experiencing the joy of having succeeded now. Soon I would have my revenge on the prismatic elemental.
Tide pressed the button and summoned the first boss.
