Chapter 3 - The Assistant
Mr. Edon or E for short was the new teacher in Nick’s class. Although he could not be called an actual teacher he was still given all the rights that one had. The chairman of the academy was stunned by his genius and had him approved right away.
Of course, the chairman was still going to have his background checked out. However, Mr. Edon did not care about that as his background was clean.
Having class just end Mr. Edon had nothing left to do.
He decided that he would stroll around the campus today. Hopefully, he found something to help ease his boredom.
With his attire he naturally caused countless students to look in his direction when he walked past them. It was not every day that they caught sight of someone wearing a labcoat as if it was a jacket.
Mr. Edon had sharp senses, he could hear a strange noise in the air. He was attracted to it.
Eventually, he made his way to a small building. Outside of the small building was a sign that flashed with the name of the building.
‘Sharpshooter/Archery Club’ flashed by on the sign, after a second it flashed to the club leader and advisor for the club.
Mr. Edon was never interested in guns or archery before, but the sounds they were making was like music to his ears. He was actually curious for the first time in his life.
He decided that he would go see what this club was about. He had a lot of free time to waste away anyways. He was not classified as a teacher thus he did not have to review the development of the students in his class. Nor did he have to exactly ‘guide’ them in their development either. All he had to do was give his opinion on some subjects and if he wanted to explain certain events.
Although he was not getting paid a lot for what he was doing, it was still pay. If all jobs were this easy he figured he would be rich. Besides, the students did not seem that bad to him.
At least they answered him when he called them out.
Mr. Edon couldn’t help but remember two of his own ‘friends’ who answered when they wanted. They did not actively talk over the phone but their relationship was like siblings.
Inside the Sharpshooter/Archery club the first thing he noticed as a wooden floor. In all of the other buildings he has been to, there has never been a wooden floor before. Due to the different type of materials available in this age wood was not used as often.

Ten feet from the entrance were small lockers lined in in rows. The lockers could only hold a bag and some other small or thin items.
Mr. Edon dragged his fingers across the lockers. They were smooth to the touch and not one speck of dust was on his finger. He knew what this was just from the touch. It may not be essence ore but it was Mithril.
Mithril was different from Essence Ore as it was silver in color and have a unique feel. Before the discovery of Essence Ore, Mithril was used in famous weapons.
Mr. Edon chuckled, now it was being used as materials to make lockers. He thought it was a waste.
As he continued to follow the sounds, he arrived at a large field. The field itself stretched over a few acres, much larger than the building itself.
There were students divided into two sections, one side had students with various sized rifles. The other side various type of bows.
Mr. Edon was greatly attracted to the female students that dominated this club. For every male, he counted at four more females. This place was the real heaven.
It was not hot outside, but that did not stop the sweat dripping from their bodies that caused their clothing to stick to their body closely.
With the uniform, they seemed to be wearing it caused the shirt to be a bit transparent if one payed attention to it.
As for the males that were wearing a different version of the same uniform, Mr. Edon did not even give them another look. He was not interested.
Turning his head to the side, he caught someone approaching.
Compared to the students, she was much better looking. With her short blonde bun and green eyes, Mr. Edon felt his heart jump. As she came closer his heartbeat became faster.
He thought drool came out of his mouth, but he was wrong. It was not anything but his imagination.
She was wearing a black leather jacket with both her hands in her jacket pocket. The black leather jacket was unzipped showing off the front of her white shirt.
With her blue jean shorts and those long legs, Mr. Edon could feel the heat rising.
She gave him a small grin.
“Hello, you must be the new assistant.”
“Marry me.”
They both spoke at the same time, words overlapping each other.
She thought she heard him say ‘marry me’ but she could be mistaken. At least she hoped he was.
Mr. Edon coughed as he regained his composure.
“Yes, I’m the new assistant Mr. Edon. But you my darling may call me E.”
Mr. Edon said as he tried to look into her green eyes, but his eyes betrayed him and kept finding their way looking at her breast.
He never felt such an attraction before. It was new and exciting for him. He was usually so well composed that he previously thought he did not have any emotions. This new feeling… he enjoyed it!
‘Oh god, another weirdo…’
She thought to herself as she talked with Mr. Edon.
