"Hmm, how interesting."
Instantly Kreed felt at peace, the voice escaping from the creatures lips was unlike anything he had heard before. Kreed struggled to not succumb to the alluring call the voice seemed to permiate.
Unlike the voice that spoke before this one wasn't, artificial or drowned with the pretence of being non-existent. Instead the voice coming from the radiant figure silhouetted with unbearable darkness sounded. Omniscient... That was the only word Kreed knew that could be used to describe such a creature.
"Say, child it is indeed, interesting that you would choose to call upon me."
Kreed froze, with every word that escaped it's lips he felt more and more drawn to the creature. If this continued, Kreed's already fractured mind would without a doubt collapse on itself.
"Hmmm, I see."
With those words the world moved. Kreed didn't know what had happened but he could now feel his legs again. For a brief second his mind was flooded with questions, instinctively Kreed forced himself to focus on the majestic creature sitting on the runes once again.
Now however, all it's immaculate presence and vigor was gone instead a radiant being with long black hair took it's place. The creature was still shrouded in the embrace of the unnerving darkness. But now it seemed more.... more Human, well as human as it could get.
The creature spoke once more breaking the silence.
"There, that should be enough. Say child what do you seek, ask of me and I will deliver."
As Kreed listened, we realized what had happened. The being was to divine for him to speak freely so he, changed. Now although the voice coming from the being was unlike anything a human could create it was somehow bearable.
But Kreed wasn't to focused on the creatures voice, after understanding that it meant no harm Kreed could now focus on the more astonishing things that had changed.
Firstly there was his body, strangely Kreed could move once again. It was as if the creature had healed him.
But Kreed wasn't fooled. He had not been. Healed no Instead the creature seemed to have reversed his battered body back to the state it was in before the crushing force of the first voice assaulted him.
After he was thrown to the ground his bones were broken in a fit of terror his bruised skin became mangeled and dented from the impact. But now he was back to being just bruised and poisoned.
Feeling hesitant Kreed slowly pushed himself of the ground and sat up leaning on the broken bench he had once sat on.
The creature didn't move but, stared at him with the most genuine of curiosity.
Finally Kreed spoke.
"Why, why am I alive?"
His voice echoed throughout the room it sounded raspy and Ridgid. It was as if there was something vile and disgusting stuck in his throat. Of course even Kreed could tell that he sounded utterly repulsive. Yet the creature didn't seem to care or it was probably used to hearing such vile things and couldn't help but pity the beings that wasn't born with a majestic voice such as his own.

No, instead the creature seemed bewildered by the question. Indeed it was a strange question.
But Kreed felt that if anyone knew the answer the being sitting on the runes Infront of him would.
For a second the darkness seemed to become chilling and then it spoke.
"Why are you alive? That's very simple, is it not.
Because you are blessed. Life is a rare commodity, you are fortunate to possess it. Death only comes when one abandons life. And life only comes when one finds purpose."
These words were simple but seemed to hold vast, and greater meaning.
The creature moved making Kreed flinch.
It scratched the back of it's head then said.
"This is extremely unexpected, although I know it all who would have know you would be this strange."
It tilted it's head then spoke once more.
"Although I answered your question, I doubt that the answer was satisfactory. To tell the truth answering said question in your case would take a while, so instead how about I show you?"
The creature raised his hand and gestured to Kreed as if asking for his permission.
Kreed silently shook his head.
Not a second later his vision blurred and his mind collapsed.
Then his head was jerked up in a violent fit, his eyes regained a semblance of consciousness. And, as he came to, the creature said.
"Do you understand now? Am afraid that is all I can give you with how fragile your mind currently is."
Kreed's eyes widened absorbing all the information that entered his mind moments ago. It was a lot, Kreed was overwhelmed. But he strained himself to stay awake. Turning back to the creature Kreed asked.
"Wh-who ar.. no, what are you?"
The creature studied Kreed for a bit then smiled.
"Now that's more of the question I was expecting. Hmm, what am I? Now what would be a satisfactory answer for you?"
The being grasped the runes with his hand and In one swift and melodic movement pushed himself to the ground. It landed softly several meters away from where Kreed sat leaning on the broken cathedral bench. Raising a finger to touch the center of his forehead it said.
"I am boundless"
It's voice resounded throughout the hall, this time it didn't sound calm and enticing as before, no although it sounded the same the tone was...bold, uncaring and almost scary.
Instantly Kreed was overcomed by a primal desire to do nothing but run. But he couldn't, not because he was incapable of doing so, no rather it was because his body was frozen. Although his intuition was screaming for him to flee his body was bound, and unmoving.
Kreed knew that even if he managed to move he couldn't outrun the creature. But he couldn't help but try to succumb to the desire of escaping. But he also felt that somewhere deep in his mind the creature wouldn't attack him.
There was another feeling deep in his mind aswell, the feeling of utter relief, he had wanted to die after all and now he finally could.
But before he could make a decision of fleeing, the creature spoke once more.
"I am also,... just, courageous and a man of great virtue's."
The voice was back to it's calm and enticing form, almost as if it had never change.
Kreed sat there motionlessly staring at the creature.
"Now am sure the package of information I gave you was more than enough to answer any lingering question you may have. So how about we change the topic for a bit?"
The creatures gaze became almost unpronounced.
"You seem to be quite the strange character, ...tell me child, along with the information yo just inherited, how much do you really know?"
The creature became joyous, almost as if it was happy to discover Kreed's existence.
Kreed was silent, an expression of bewilderment appearing on his face.
After a while he asked.
"B-but don't you know? No, what I mean is, you, you can read my mind can't you? So surely you know, how much I, know, right?"
The creature grinned, as it's eyes became even more captivating. Kreed felt, calm. But he couldn't shake the feeling of terror. After all he had just spoken back to a creature who's true form was too much for Kreed to handle. No if the creature could change it's very being, who could tell what it's true form was? And Kreed had just, disrespected that very being.
However wether by luck or not the creature didn't seem to bother with his rude remark, it seemed more surprised at Kreed's reply. Perhaps he expected Kreed to actually answer his question.
But Kreed didn't care, neither about the information he had gathered from reading the runes or the strange package of knowledge he had just received. No all Kreed cared about was himself, his current situation was the most important thing to him.
The creature chuckled.
"How, very interesting. I guess you're right. I already know everything about you. What you are thinking, all that you've gone through. And everything you hope to and will accomplish."
It paused
"But child, you don't seem to know much of what matters do you?"
After hearing these words, Kreed stoped moving completely, did he hear that correctly?
If the creature knew of his past, surely it would know just how much pain and suffering Kreed had been through. So why was it so nonchalant.
Instantly Kreed's heart was filled with hatred, unmistakable and dangerous hatred. It took a lot out of him to maintain this profound emotion, as every second, the creatures presence seemed to calm him down.
Trying to insult the creature Kreed blurted
"And would you mind telling me what matters?"
Just as the words escaped his lips, all the hatred in his heart was drowned out by the feeling of regret. But what was done was done.
The creature smiled, looking at Kreed with indifferent eyes. Suddenly it said. "As you wish"
Then it churned, the room in which Kreed sat leaning against the broken bench was no more, the shimmering runes that rested behind the being of immaculate radiance wa
s gone, the darkness engrossing the cathedral hall was gone aswell, the cathedral hall it self disappeared! Gone as if it had never existed.
