Chapter 26 Ye pirate muncher
Kreed who was buried beneath the pile of vile blood, was temporarily shocked. How had it died? As the rest of his body healed he contemplated for a second. Don't tell me. Diving into his soul he found himself surrounded by the embrace of darkness. How nice. The familiar darkness was reassuring and calming. Summoning the runes of the peach he read as it manifested.

Huh?
Suddenly Kreed felt as if he had been completely stupid. How had he not even thought about that? Although the fruit didn't mention it directly it could certainly be discerned. Of course the fruit could kill the being, it was a creature that walked the path of corruption after all not to mention that its abilities seemed to be linked to a demonic creature in some way. So of course the divine fruit wouldn't dare have a corrupted creature within its presence.
Ha how simple. The creature had been the first of Kreed's kills, although it was an accident no one needed to know that. As he contemplated for a second he made a rash decision. Although he had received a new relic he didn't have the time to look at it now, the best course of action was to get to the grape first.
Escaping from his soul's embrace, Kreed released the fruit which had completely healed him and dug his way through the pile of blood that was covering him. Escaping its grasp, he looked for his metal blade picking it up before running to the stone platform and escaping back to the grape's embrace. As he exited the deports range of effect he could see the ocean's wave sway once more the sound of the water and wind filling him with a sense of calm.
Settling into the grape he looked at the vessel Which was now a few meters away, and at the stone moat that held it.
As he contemplated his next options, the beast finally moved. Kreed looked on as the vessel was raised out of the water, the stone moat beneath it growing more and more thick. And soon the gigantic creature was extending above the water, the shadow that it cast was enormous and vast. From what Kreed guessed the creature was at least ten point six meters or thirty five feet tall, well the section of it resting above the water.
As he watched on he saw the vessel slip of the creatures tip completely shattering as it collided with the water.

Wow Kreed's mind was completely blown, that was the biggest creature he had ever seen so far, from what he remembered it was even larger than Dallas which was more than enough information to make Kreed weary. As he watched the creature continue to grow, he saw a pair of large bulging eyes escape from the water. The eyes his a sense of unending violent hunger, and those scary eyes were currently focused on a single existence that had appeared a few meters away from it rising from the water on a large stone pillar. The existence was of course Alden, he looked the same as he had when Kreed last saw him, but now his uniform which appeared like a leather suit before, had transformed into a slick skin tight bodysuit. His cape had disappeared and now Kreed could see Alden's dense and perfectly shaped muscles ripple beneath the bodysuits surface.
"That bastard. If he survives this, am definitely going to punish him."
Kreed watched with bated breath as Alden faced off against the colossal stone creature, his mind racing with a mix of awe and concern. Alden stood tall and defiant on his stone pillar, his muscles tensed and ready for battle. The creature's eyes glinted with hunger, its massive form casting a shadow that seemed to swallow everything in its path.
With a sudden surge of power, Alden thrust his palms forward, summoning a barrage of stone spikes from the ocean. The spikes shot towards the creature with deadly accuracy, but to Kreed's surprise, the creature seemed unfazed. It simply swatted the spikes away with a sweep of its massive limb, sending them crashing back into the water below.
Alden gritted his teeth in determination, his glasses glinting as he assessed his opponent. He knew he had to find a weakness, a chink in the creature's armor that he could exploit. With a swift motion, he leaped from his stone pillar, summoning more to attack the creature's base. And using his incredible speed, Alden sored through the air landing gracefully on the creature's back.
The creature roared in fury, its massive form shaking with the force of its anger. From Kreed's point of view, he couldn't hear the creatures dreadful screech but from the many ripples that spread through the water. He could guess as much.
Alden clung to the rough surface, of the stone creatures carapace. His mind was racing as he searched for a way to gain the upper hand. Suddenly, conjuring a small stone javelin he expended some verve, using his strength to stabbed it into the stone back of the creature.
Effectively anchoring himself in place. Of course the javelin hadn't dug deep but it was more than enough to keep the white hair fiend from falling. And as the creature shook, swinging its large limbs to break and crush the barrage of stone pillars, an idea struck him.
With a whispered incantation and some quick hand signs, Alden called forth a massive stone pillar from the depths of the ocean. The pillar erupted from the ground beneath them, lifting Alden and the creature high into the air. The pillar which was more of a platform was several meters wide spanning across the entire area produced by the deport. Alden who had used most of his verve to create the pillar hung tightly onto the creatures back.
As the water displaced by the stone pillar fell from it's embrace. And the surprised creature that was now completely exposed from the oceans safety, released another blood chilling screech.
Kreed who sat in the grape was completely stunned, never before had his jaw been dropped this much. Just how strong is that guy?
And as the tons of water dropped from the rising pillar, the grape was assaulted with a fury of deadly waves.
Damnation.
As they soared above the battlefield, Alden used the moment of surprise to unleash a flurry of stone spikes, conjuring them in the skies above and raining them down on the creature below.
Using his incredible combat prowess he conjured a stone shell that covered his entire body, creating a sphere of strong pristine stone that rested on the gigantic creature carapace. Essentially protecting himself from the array of stone spikes that were raining from the sky.
And as the spikes fell creating a moment of rapid destruction, the creatures back quaked, various cracks stemming from points of impact.
Some spikes shattered, others dug into stone creatures, and others simply ricocheted of the creatures back plummeting into water below.
But the creature was not so easily defeated. With a thunderous roar, it summoned its own power, causing the stone pillar to crack and splinter beneath their feet. And the raining spikes to shatter into countless prices of harmless stone particles. The stone shell that Alden had conjured had also shattered exposing Alden to the direct impact of the creature's roar. Fighting to maintain his balance, his muscles strained against the force of the creature's attack.
Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, Alden spotted a weak spot in the creature's defenses. It was a single spot on its carapace that had completely cracked open it's outer stone surface broken revealing the inner flesh of the creature. The flesh looked like a pile of black stone. It seemed that the creature didn't possess any form of vitals or blood leaving quite a lot of unanswered questions in Alden's mind. With a burst of adrenaline, he lunged forward, driving his fist into the creature's exposed flesh. A shockwave rippled through the air as Alden's blow connected, he shattered through the creature's stone like flesh diving his fist deeper and deeper into it.
With one final effort, Alden summoned all of his verve, channeling it into a single, devastating blow. And as he conjured a sharp and devastating stone spike, that tore through the creature's flesh dealing lethal damage to the creature from the inside. The creature let out a deafening roar as Alden's attack struck true, causing the creature to lose its footing sending it crashing to the ocean, in a heap of stone and dust.
As the dust settled, Kreed watched in awe as Alden emerged victorious, his chest heaving with exertion. Despite the odds stacked against him, Alden had emerged triumphant, proving once and for all that even the mightiest of foes could be defeated by his courage and determination. Or at least proving to Kreed that he had indeed not lied about his position as rank eight throughout the entire world.
