The goblins charged into Bruce although lacked the strength and speed to push him back while I was pushing against them. As I look up I see a goblin crawling underneath his shield. I quickly stabbed towards it's head. It moved it's head but not quickly enough. The blade pierced into it's head and the goblin stilled.

Despite the shock of my blade piercing it's head so easily I quickly got over it. I step back to see where I can fit in. My eyes dart around and I go to Sarah's side as the goblins push through Bruce. Bruce noticed a goblin about to get past and shifts to his left. This leaves more space for the goblins to go right.

Doctor Terkel backs up as he stabbed forward. Track was already there as he slammed the head of a goblin. It wasn't dead so he smashed downward once more ending it's life. I didn't feel comfortable doing nothing so I looked for something to do. I go to Bruce's side as I stay next to him.

A goblin grabbed the top of his shield to pull it down but he quickly stabbed it's fingers. Despite this it didn't let go and another goblin started pulling on it. I quickly take a step forward and look over his shield. I saw the goblins yelling with tears in their eyes. I quickly stabbed one in the side. I pulled back but another goblin grabbed my arm. I change the position of my knife and cut it's arm. It was light and didn't do much damage.

It made it relax it's grip slightly for a little so I pulled my arm back. It quickly grabbed it once again. I was heavier than it and had more momentum so I pulled back and it grabbed another goblins shoulder. The goblins was pulled and the other was thrown off balance. I stumble back as the goblin follows.

I quickly turn to make sure the goblin doesn't land on me. The goblin hits to floor hard as I soon follow. It was temporarily dazed and I quickly got my arm free before climbing over it and stabbing it's throat. After that I quickly get back on my feet and get away from it. I watched as it died. I eventually tore my gaze from it and rejoined the fight.

Much of the same happened. Minutes passed. I turned my body as a goblin stabbed at me. I quickly cut it's outstretched arm. It pulled it back but I grabbed it and pulled it towards me. It resisted but I stabbed it's arm again. It stabbed at me again. I got it's blade with mine throwing the attack off target. The blade entered just above my hip bone. Despite the pain I stab it's throat and back away.

I start looking for my next target when I see a small object fly through the air towards me. Before I could react I felt something hit my head. I stumbled back and fell. My head spun for a little and I was temporarily disoriented. I turned onto my hands and knees looking around wondering what happened. There was a much pain at the time but I had lost myself.

I used the wall to support myself as I got on my feet. I looked at them fighting while backing up to use the walls as cover. I look for my knife while my hearing was dulled and picked it up. That's when I saw a rock on the ground.

I try to think of a solution.

" THERE'S DUCT TAPE IN THE RED DRAWER. COVER THE TOP OF THE ENTRY. "

It took me a little to process what he said and find the red drawer. I fast walked to it and quickly rummaged through it and found the duct tape. I started going back when I realized I didn't know how to do what he asked. I quickly thought of a solution. I went to where the Doctor and Track were. I attached the tape to the wall and started unrolling the tape.

" Watch out. "

I warned them as I quickly ran around the and attached tape to the end where Sarah was. I went back and forth. I had to occasionally jump to put more tape higher. It didn't take long for the goblins to catch into what I was doing. They were too short to cut it so they threw things at it. There were varying degrees of success with their strategy. Eventually I went back over what I had done already to strengthen it. It did this 3 times before taping down the sides to make it more secure.

The goblins numbers were dwindling. Our injuries only increased. As we lost blood we were getting weaker. Bruce was the most injuries and couldn't hold on for much longer.

" Bruce give me your shield and I'll take over your position. "

" Don't let them through. "

He back up a bit and quickly handed me his beat up shield. I quickly see a goblin run towards me. I put my shield in front of me and it stabs towards me. The shield made it harder to see them especially because of their small size. Despite that I heard metal scratching metal and I quickly used the shield to push the blade away and I cut the goblins throat. As I look ahead I see something that made my blood run cold.

A goblin that stood at 6 foot tall. Packed with muscles and a dark green skin tone.
