Sasha lets out a blood arrow, piercing through a squirrel and killing it. Sasha lets out a loud laugh. “Haha! I did it! My experience is now 1%! Max level here I come!” She yells happily.
Johnny lets out a smile. From the shy flower that he had initially met, Sasha had grown after becoming a vampire. When she finally found a vampire family, she grew more comfortable and began to accept herself. Now she was an outgoing girl and she loved life. She was always enthusiastic about new experiences and there wasn't much that she feared. Seeing her grow, Johnny was glad. It seems vampirism was the correct choice. He thinks, satisfied.
As for the experience points, the Great Entropy technique seemed to be working even here. When Johnny first checked he had no experience points, but it slowly began to grow, and Johnny had even passed the 100% mark and reached level 2.
“Hey, there’s a city up ahead.” Lucy says, sensing life rumbling in the distance.
“Will we able to get in?” Nick asks.
Leo lets out a bitter smile. “We have no identification and no money.” He says, stating their situation.
“No worries! I brought several gold bars. We should able to make it through the gate.” Johnny says.
…
…
Johnny takes out a gold bar and pays the guard before asking a few questions.

The guard’s eyes immediately lit up. He took out a map and decided to just give it to Johnny. “This is the Flowing Gold bank, you can exchange your gold there. And this is the Adventurer’s Guild, they should be able to provide you with basic identification. And this is the city temple, you’ll be able to change your class there, with enough coin of course.” He says.
Johnny smiles. “Thank you, sir!” He says before leading his party through the gate.
A large crowd was gathered on the square before the city gate. A man was on a pedestal speaking with great passion. “Lies! Lies! Everything we’ve been told are lies! Is level 300 really the max level!? No! This is but a system built by the gods to suppress the people! The demon lord has discovered their wickedness and grew his power in a different way! He doesn’t adhere to this system of suppression! The priests comfort us and tell us the gods have a plan, but these are just words people! They want nothing but to enslave us! We shouldn’t be at war with the demon lord! No! Instead we should be following him! Only with him leading the charge can we break free of our chains! Only with him can we break free of the gods!” The man exclaims to the people.
Johnny listens and his eyes widen. Damn, things seem to be progressing accordingly, he thinks. In truth the system these gods have set up wasn’t an original thing. Many people who grew to power have tried similar things. Unfortunately, the resources in the world could only provide for so many powerhouses. So, to maintain the balance, these systems were set up to limit growth. And the people who discover this and rebel against it… Well, they become demon lords.
Johnny lets out a sigh. This is what possession looked like, and this is what constricted karma looked like; it was just a prison for everyone but those at the top. Alas, these things are always doomed to failure. Just like how the sun and moon can not be long hidden, progress and the flow of karma are impossible to hinder. He thinks.
Nonetheless, Johnny was just a tourist here. He didn’t intend to resolve this world’s problems. As long as him and his friends could enjoy themselves, that was enough.
The group continued forward, gathering various things they needed for this world before going to the temple to change jobs.
Sasha began to snicker. “Hehehe. I’ve decided.” She says.
Lucy raises an eyebrow. “Decided on what?” She asks, curious.
“I’m going to be a priestess!” Sasha says before letting out a laugh.
Mary Rose heard this and couldn’t help but laugh as well. “Sasha, you’re hilarious.” She says, amused.
Leo also lets out a chuckle.
“I’m going to be a mage! I’ve always wanted to learn magic.” Nick says.
“I’m going to be a mage too!” Mary Rose says.
“I’m going to be an archer. Magic is getting boring.” Lucy says.
“I’m an old dog. I’ll have to go with warrior.” Leo says.
“You guys are boring. There’s probably much cooler stuff that’s available. And I bet there’s hidden classes as well.” Johnny says.
In the end, Johnny had to settle for the warrior class.
