Chapter 39

Seeing as Johnny broke the seal, he happily went on to indulge as much as possible and got a hotel before his family came home.

Laying on the bed, his body hot and sweat, Johnny receives a call.

“Yes?” He says.

“J-Johnny. It's me, Sasha. I-I can't hold on any longer, Johnny. You have to help me.” She says, her voice distraught.

Johnny's brows furrow. “What's wrong? Did the Cloud Riders find you?” He asks, somewhat worried.

“N-no. It's not that. It's the vampirism, Johnny. I-I feel so cold. I'm evil and everyone hates me. E-even Archie is looking at me differently. I think he’s been cheating. H-he’s about to leave me. It isn’t worth it for him anymore. Even the Cloud Riders no longer want me. I-I need a family, Johnny. I need a family, bad. I’m all alone and nobody understands me. It’s like I’m walking around with shit in my pants, nobody wants me! M-my source blood isn’t strong enough to turn anyone, Johnny. I n-need your help. H-help me Johnny. I-it’s so cold.” Sasha says, through the tears.

Johnny frowns. Then he looks to the newly turned vampires laying next to him. “Hey, what are your names?” He asks.

The lady on his left kisses Johnny on the lips. “Bella.” She says.

The lady on his right also kisses him. “Jenny.” She says.

Stolen novel; please report.

Johnny lets out a sigh. Guess I’m starting a family. He thinks. “Come over to Greenvine City. We’ll start a vampire family. Together.” He says.

...

Johnny purchased a large compound on the outskirts of the city. The three girls, Sasha, Bella, and Jenny settled there.

As for Johnny, he went home and began to process what happened. Things were getting weird. It was almost like he was building something. But why? He didn’t know. If he had his way his karma with these three girls would have ended much earlier. But it seemed the heavens had other plans. He couldn’t help but think of that boy that he introduced heart cultivation to. Somewhat worried, he didn’t hesitate to call him.

“Hello? Mister?” Little Nick says.

“Nickie. How are you? What have you been up to?” Johnny wonders.

Nick lets out a bitter smile. “I ran away from home.” He says.

Johnny’s eyes widen. “What? Why?” He asks.

Nick lets out a sigh. “After I started cultivating, I was hoping my heart would grow enough to continue on with the way things were. But after cultivating, it only made me realize how weak I was. My mind opened up and I realized how much pain I was in, and I realized that it was better to live on the streets than to withstand it. I’m simply following my dao, mister.” He says.

Johnny lets out a sigh. “Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.” He says. Johnny shakes his head. And another one… What are the heavens planning? He asks himself.

One day…

A dimensional gate opened up and a man walked through.

The man saw Earth and flew down.

He lands on a field of flowers and feels the air.

“Hmm. The spiritual energy here is quite bountiful.” He thinks, gauging the value of this place. Eventually he decides. “This will be our new home.” He says.

This man came from a world that was much richer than this place. The cultivation world was boundless and many people reached the peak. But riches often drew covetous eyes. They were targeted and eventually invaded by another world. That world had countless powerhouses and they were only barely able to hold on. The war destroyed their world and many of their resources were robbed, as such the powerhouses of their world decided to move their karma forward; but this time, they would be the invaders.

This world that this man discovered, although it wasn’t as rich as his previous world, it was at a level that could be conquered. The spiritual energy wouldn’t be able to support too many powerful people, thus, it was an easy target.

Settling the matter of this world’s conquest, the man opens a dimensional gate and returns home to deliver the news.
