As the trio were touring and enjoying the national park, a scene occurred on the nearby mountain. Two powerhouses were fighting.
Johnny immediately threw some popcorn into his mouth. “Damn. Who knew we'd get a show.” He says. “Should we get closer?” He asks.
“It seems like they're getting closer anyways.” Lucy says.
“What stage are they in?” Mary Rose asks.
“That's a seventh stage vampire and a seventh stage wizard.” Johnny says.
Lucy's eyes widen. She watches as immense amounts of energy were thrown back and forth. A firestorm and a miasma of blood. “They’re on the seventh stage?” She asks, feeling the matter was incredulous. “Then how the hell did you beat two seventh stage vampires? If that’s really the seventh stage, we should both be dead.” She says, unsure if she should be shocked or relieved.
Johnny simply shrugs. “We got lucky.” He says before bumping his arm against Mary Rose’s shoulder. “Those battles are examples of the way. Take note, Mary Rose. If your life aligns with the dao, nothing can kill you. That’s why the pursuit of strength is meaningless. If the heavens wanted you dead, there’s nothing that can stop it. But if the heavens want you to live, you’ll be undefeatable.” He says with a smug face.
Mary Rose raises an eyebrow. “So can you take those guys?” She asks, curious.
Johnny lets out an awkward chuckle. “To be honest, if I was to step in, and force my way into their business, with my current strength, if the heaven’s didn’t immediately strike me down with lightning, I’d still probably die in the fight.” He says honestly, helpless in the matter.

Mary Rose frowns. “I bet you could beat them.” She says, doubting his words.
Lucy lets an amused smile. “For some reason, I think so too.” She says.
Johnny shakes his head. “I’m serious, I'd probably die.” He says, unsure how to accept this confidence.
The vampire had several burns on his body, but he continued to fight. He throws out a spear of blood, condensed to the limit.
The wizard, was already slowing down from the miasma of poisonous blood, and was slow to react to the spear. Several layers of magical shields appear before him, but the spear blasted through the hasty defense and pierces into the wizard’s shoulder.
“Give it up, Romulus. Your desire for revenge only brought you here to die. You know, when I was draining your disciple, she very much enjoyed it; she kept looking up and saying, ‘Take more, daddy, it feels so good.’ It was glorious. After she died, I fucked her body. That’s how tasty she was.” The vampire says.
The wizard spits out a mouthful of blood. “Bastard. If I die today, I’m taking you down with me.” He says as he gathers his energy.
Mary Rose’s eyes widen. “Holy crap! Did you hear that? That guy’s despicable! Johnny, you have to do something!” She exclaims.
Lucy looks to Johnny, wondering what he’ll do.
“To be honest, now that he said that, I’m a little more confident I’ll be able to mess with him, or at least help out the wizard. Okay! Why not? Let’s cause some trouble today.” He says before leaping into action.
Johnny stealthily approaches the fight while masking his aura. He immediately gets to work and puts an old trick to use; he was setting up a yang gathering formation in the area. When he was done, he left the area and went back to Lucy and Mary Rose.
“What did you do?” Lucy asks.
“The same thing I did to the other vampire I killed. As for whether the wizard can take advantage, we’ll see.” He says as he throws more popcorn into his mouth.
The wizard had stopped caring about his wound and began to fight without a care. Spell after spell was thrown out.
At first, the spells were either dodged, blocked or deflected, but eventually, the vampire began to feel a heavy weight on him and his energy was draining much faster. One spell hit. Then another. Then another.
Eventually the vampire had collapsed to the ground. The wizard flew forward and hovers over the vampire. “Such is fate, Edgar. If you offend the heavens, there’s no going back. Your path has been rooted in failure. Goodbye.” He says before extending his palm out. Energy began to build and not long after a beam of cleansing white energy shot forward and pierces through the vampire’s heart.
“Bravo! Bravo!” Johnny says, greatly pleased with the conflict.
Mary Rose lets out a sigh of relief. “Thank goodness.” She says.
The wizard soon flew over to the trio. He bows his head to Johnny and says, “Thank you.” Wary of outside attackers, the wizard had glimpsed Johnny's figure throughout the fight. He knew that the kid must have done something to give him an advantage.
Johnny waves his hand. “No worries. This is what I should do.” He says, not thinking much of it.
Romulus smiles. “If you’re ever in the Storm Capital, let me know. I’ll be your host.” He says before leaving with the vampire’s body.
