The Fall (1)

Jack approached one of the calm patients and severed his soul, leaving him in a state of shock. Then he ordered him to feel anger, rage, and hatred towards all the people responsible in this place and to become loyal to him. The patient was affected and started acting aggressively until Jack commanded him to stop. He then turned to the rest of the patients, where he found some speaking the language of the ocean people, repeating the same phrase he heard earlier, while others spoke another language he knew but were talking about temples and honor, saying:

"Stay strong, we will never surrender! Our souls will remain in the temple after we leave, but only if we hold onto honor. So, fear not, my little brother!"

Strangely, all of them kept repeating the same phrase, "Are they from the same clan? Did two clans from different worlds come here?"

Jack also heard some of them crying without speaking, and there was a very old patient speaking a language even Jack himself didn't understand. But he didn't want to waste time searching for answers because he was now racing against time. He didn't know when they would discover the real body of Maro. Jack believed that chaos always brought good opportunities, so he instilled fighting spirits in everyone in the room and made them all follow him.

Now, all he had to do was place the chess pieces in their positions, starting by separating the second section from the first and then destroying the brains in the third section. Jack ordered all the patients to leave as soon as they heard the alarm sirens in the third section, while he would be responsible for triggering them.

Jack quickly left the first section. At this moment, he didn't care if his disguise was discovered; all that mattered was reaching the third section quickly. He arrived there and started attacking any worker or guard in his way, even reaching a red lever on the wall, which he pulled, triggering alarm sirens everywhere. Many soldiers were supposed to rush here to check the emergency situation, but they would never know that someone behind them, in the first section, was taking care of the scientists. Jack would delay them in the third section and even eliminate some of them. In that moment, many soldiers had already arrived.

A case of theft: this story is not rightfully on Amazon; if you spot it, report the violation.

Jack inhaled the cold air and quickly muttered, "stealth."

In that moment, Jack felt like he had left this world and became something incomprehensible, filled with power and knowledge. But he didn't want to waste time; he summoned his physical dagger and started a massacre, attacking anyone in front of him.

The soldiers were in a state of hysteria and screaming madly:

"What the hell is happening here? Why are they all suddenly dying?"

"I... I can't see anything! It's as if they are being cut by the air!"

"Damn it! I won't die like this!"

Despite their feeble attempts, half of the soldiers were already eradicated. The others started to retreat, but Jack didn't allow them to escape. He hunted them down one by one until there was no one left.

Finally, Jack had to return to the first section. In this moment, all the patients were acting wildly and savagely, which terrified the scientists. The problem was that even the soldiers in the second section hadn't arrived yet to contain this chaos. Without their help, the few low-ranking soldiers wouldn't be able to handle it alone.

"Damn, what's happening here?" The commander raised his radio and tried to give orders to the soldiers while also trying to contact someone, but in vain. Then, suddenly, he remembered the image of someone: a person with black hair and pure blue eyes, wearing the uniform of one of his soldiers.

"Of course, it's him. How could I forget about his presence! Damn it, I have to speed things up then." The commander ordered his soldiers to use violence, even if it meant destroying the experiment subjects. As he moved to a different location, he heard a familiar voice from behind him, asking, "Where are you going, sir?"

The commander turned around and pointed his gun at Jack's head, but Jack dodged the bullet and approached the commander, who took a fighting stance and attempted to strike Jack. However, Jack evaded the blow and countered with a kick to the commander's neck, causing him to barely avoid it by twisting to the side. This moment was crucial for Jack, who, after landing on his feet, rushed towards his opponent. The commander couldn't defend himself against Jack's punch aimed at his face and was hit with a strong force. His face bled severely as he collided with the ground, and Jack stood over him, pressing his foot against the defeated commander's belly, aiming the gun at him.

The commander, in his last moments, looked at Jack with a dark and sinister smile. He raised his head and said, "I don't exactly know who you are, but I'm sure your fate is worse than mine."

Jack didn't like those words and that face in front of him. He frowned and simply pulled the trigger, causing a loud bang in the air, followed by silence.

"Idiot," Jack muttered as he looked at the commander's body. He then approached and took the ID card from his pocket. He turned to the frenzied patients and smiled, saying, "Your commander is back! Now follow me in this revolution of killing!"

Jack spoke before heading towards a black door and placing the card in front of it, causing it to open.

Inside, the scientists were in a state of terror and fear, unsure of the identity of the man in front of the door. It was clear that he didn't resemble the commander of the second section whom they knew. Instead, he looked more like a child with black hair, pure blue eyes, and a wicked smile on his face.
