preparation

One big continent, seven great nations, each with its own laws and customs, but they all share the importance of monitoring their citizens. They prioritize monitoring newborns, then the deceased, and finally those who have been involved in accidents... So shouldn't they be monitoring me? But I don't feel that way. Jack continued his research and found that each province is governed by a person called the representative. So is it right for me to say that my representative is neglecting his duty? Jack found that these few pieces of information he managed to acquire shed some light on this world.

First, this world is very small.

Second, there is a person or group in the shadows who controls everything and likely created these laws.

Third, and most importantly, Jack is currently safe from them.

When Jack presented these conclusions, he could only crave more information. However, the problem of money hinders him, and he can't kill or steal from more people because it's just a nuisance. So, for now, he might resort to bullying some students at school. Well, if they can help him voluntarily, that would be better, but for now, he hasn't even seen what that school looks like, so he will go tomorrow to observe the situation.

The next morning, Jack told his mother about his desire to return to school early. Despite her initial refusal, the innocent eyes of the child managed to touch the tender heart of the mother, so she finally agreed on the condition that Emma accompanies him until he enters the classroom.

"Um? Oh, okay, no problem. Just don't wander off too much, or you'll go to class by yourself."

During the journey, neither of the siblings spoke to each other, creating an awkward silence. Emma couldn't bear this strange silence.

"Oh man, what's wrong with you? You used to be so talkative and annoying. Now you're like a little girl on her first date."

"So, should I consider this coming from a dating expert?"

"Well, there you are. Still just as annoying as our father. No, i am not."

"Anyway, tell me how you'll catch up on the lessons you missed."

"Well, about that..."

The conversation continued in this friendly manner until they finally arrived at the school.

"Okay, you can leave Emma here. I'll wander around a bit and do some things here and there. Oh, and don't worry, I won't hurt myself, and I'll make sure not to be late for the start of classes." Jack said with a small smile to his sister, who remained speechless with her mouth wide open.

"Alright... If you're so confident, I'll go my way now. Goodbye~"

After his sister walked away, Jack approached the map of the school hanging on one of the walls that he had noticed before and began browsing through it. After memorizing it, Jack strolled around the school, trying his best to make the limp in his leg and the crutch he used as inconspicuous as possible. Sometimes he walked in a cowardly manner, and other times he walked as if he owned the place. After passing through most of the school's areas in this peculiar way, he finally took the bait from one of the students.

"Ahaha, isn't this my little friend Jack?" One of the older students approached Jack with a big smile on his face.

"Y-yes, I suppose so. Heh," Jack replied, scratching the back of his head, his face turning red from embarrassment and confusion. Seeing this, the smile on that student's face grew wider. He approached Jack even closer and hugged him while laughing.

"Ahahaha, what's up, Jack? Relax, my man. I've settled down, you know? I'm really happy to have you back so quickly, but..."

"Why the hell do you walk like a crippled dog but act like a lion, huh?"

Jack became even more flustered, and the signs of fear were evident on his face.

"S-sorry, I didn't mean to-"

*Slap* The older student slapped Jack on the head with force, causing Jack a lot of pain, and a few teardrops gathered in his eyes.

"Hey... Why don't we cut to the chase and go to a corner where no one can see us? What do you say? You know, I'm really angry today because of those stupid teachers, so I need to release some negative energy. Just like the good old days."

Jack didn't respond and kept his head down, but the older student started dragging him to a corner where they could be alone. A girl from Jack's class saw them, and she quickly understood what was happening, but she chose not to intervene. She just waited for that student to leave and then planned to help the injured Jack. However, to her astonishment, after they disappeared from sight, only one minute passed, and she saw the older student coming out first, but not as she had left him. No, he was covered in bruises, his eye swollen, and a look of extreme terror on his face. He couldn't even stand; he was crawling on the ground like a worm. The girl didn't understand what she had witnessed, but after that, she caught a glimpse of Jack walking behind that student.

While the older student was trying to crawl away from Jack in an attempt to escape, Jack placed his foot on the student's back, causing him to stop. The student began groaning in pain. Jack approached

his ear and whispered, "Bring them all tomorrow."
