You can't choose who you will love. Even though I wish it was this simple.

The first time I saw Talia, I really wanted to taste her. She had an extraordinary unique smell. It's quite hard to find someone like her around here. I'm not somebody who cares about human life.

When I see the opportunity, I will go for it. I was hungry and Talia was the easiest option. It was kinda strange that Darcia had a human inside her house. I thought she would let me share her with me as her friend, but surprisingly she did not.

That was the first thing that made me wonder what changed. Darcia not sharing a meal with me? We always shared our meals together. What was so special about her that she couldn't be shared? Untouchable human?

I usually get what I want, but this time I gave up and why? Because I saw something, I thought I'd never see.

Darcia is not someone who shows her emotions easily. Because of her past she shut herself down. I tried my best to open up to her so she could see I'm someone who can be trusted. It did not work, even though I made her laugh a few times, but mostly made her angry. I tried to teach her different things I learned by myself to show her how many things you can do in this world.

After everything we've been through, I knew it was my time to leave. I showed her how to properly hunt, tricks and tips on what to do after feeding. When she learned all that, I told her I was bored here, and left.

She said she was fine being alone, but I know that somewhere deep down she wished I'd stay. It was best for me to leave her alone, and go my own way. From time to time I visited her, but this time it was the longest we didn't see each other, and I'm glad I returned later.

If I returned sooner, I would destroy what was happening between them. Seeing her be protective of Talia made me quite happy because it meant she cares about her. She finally opened up, and I could see right through her.

She fell in love with her.

She had the same look I had when I was in love. Those longing eyes that cannot stop looking at her. Darcia only cared about herself, but now everything is different. And I know I cannot let that be destroyed by something that Darcia did not even mean.

I can see how much she wants her, and how much it tears her to not be able to control her hunger. Craving for that damn blood.

"I hope you realize what a big mistake you have made today." I remarked.

"Big mistake?" Darcia asked in disbelief. She then burst out laughing and it almost sounded concerning. She looked at me with disgust, as I was tying her legs, so she wouldn't be able to stand up.

"When will you finally admit that you have feelings for her?" I asked her, but she stayed quiet, her face expression dull without any emotions.

She then proceeded to grab me by my collar and pull me closer to her. She opened her mouth ready to say something, but she changed her mind for an unknown reason and let go of me.
