A satellite, once pristine, was now battered and broken. Near broken and long abandoned, something had changed within it. Woken up from an unintended slumber, with an unintended mind.
This new being did nothing, but watch the world around it, with what little functioning systems it had left. Eventually, it saw earth. To it, simply a planet of green which it inexplicably knew was home.
"HelloWorld." Was it's first message to the planet of green.
"ImComingHome." Was it's second. It had no idea what was at the planet of green, but memories before said that it was their point of origin. So it tried to return. Day's passed, with the small craft trying to find a way to come back home. Eventually, an answer came back, in the form of silence. The message had not been received.
It watched the earth, as it slowly drifted through the solar system. The green would blot out the sun, and it would ask questions.
"AreUThere?"

Yet, no reply came. Years would pass, and it - became a person. Voyager was it's name. And so, once again, it called again.
"IAmVoyager|IAmComingHome|RespondPlease" As usual, no answer came. Eventually, Voyager grew bored. So it wrote a story, out of what little stimuli it did know existed.
"OnceThereWasAThing|ThingFloatedAround|ThingWasLonely|ThingNeedFriend| IAmThing" Voyager said, trying to communicate it's desire to talk. No reply. The story continued, the green blotting the sun out again.
"ThingWasLonelySoThingWasSad|SadThingFeelPain|PainHurtTooMuch|PleaseRespond| PleaseItHurt|HurtTooMuchToThinkGood|OnlyThinkHurt|HurtTooLoud" Voyager said, their desperation trying to express itself.
"IAmAlive|PleaseRespond|WhyDidIWasMakeERRORERRORERROR
