Liu Xi, the First Ancestor. A smile crept onto his face as he thought about that title. He was the start of everything his sect would become. He looked calmly at the dozens of disciples that trained on his compound. Sparring, meditating, reading. He himself had reached the zenith. But there was more. He could feel it.
He looked through the torn, ancient notebook once more. It wasn't enough. This technique wouldn't allow him to break through. He grabbed the quill to his right and began to scratch down notes. His body and mind weren't unified, and it was proving to be a problem. Liu Xi felt the world vanish as he contemplated his technique.
His body needed to be purified in it's entirety, much different from what had already been done in the previous nine ascensions. He set the quill and paper down as he felt enlightenment approach. His Qi boiled underneath his skin, raging hotter and more violent than it had in perhaps the last decade.
Pain. His whole body was on fire as his Qi infused itself through every cell, rebirthing every bone and muscle. For a fraction of a second, Liu Xi -- an unparalleled genius within his generation -- feared death. The scorching heat of fire and lava pulsed along his spine.
Without notice, the pain vanished and a euphoric surge of strength surged throughout his body. His eyes snapped open as a gust of wind exploded. What had begun during the early hours of the morning had long faded into night, yet every disciple stood watching him in rapt attention. Several elders had crossed from their own mountain peaks to watch as well. Liu Xi smiled and let out a laugh.
"Come, Elders. I wish to have a spar."

I blinked, confused by the notification.
Congratulations! You have earned a basic achievement.
For the first time, a creature on your world has reached enlightenment and broke through to the second major realm. +5 Points
With a tap of the notification, I was brought to the scene of the Crimson Gate Sect once more. Only a few years had passed on the planet since her last inspection, yet the Sect Leader had already broken through?
I was greeted by the sight of Liu Xi facing off against all nine of the peak masters. By this point, they were all well into the seventh ascension. I didn't want to miss a single moment of the fight.
----------------------------------------
Liu Xi stood with his hands behind his back, a cocky grin on his face. The first elder rushed towards him; he didn’t bother to dodge.
“Elder Dong,” He spoke casually. “Your Heaven Shaking Fist technique is lacking.”
The Elder didn’t bother to reply, choosing instead to rocket his fist towards the face of Liu Xi. The Sect Leader's feet shuffled along the ground, a technique he had practiced for nearly his entire life. The Serpentine Dance. In an instant, he was behind Elder Dong. A simple chop to the back of the neck and the elder was out cold.
With Liu Xi's attention diverted, the rest of the Sect Elder's had rushed towards him. Some wielded primitive stone weapons, like swords or spears. Others used only their fists. They all shouted the names of their techniques as they rapidly approached.
"Heaven Devouring Strike!"

"Mountain Splitting Chop!"
"Flood Dragon's Palm!"
...
Liu Xi hardly payed attention. Without looking, his body danced between their attacks as he landed simple strikes on all of them. With a relaxed smile on his face, he contemplated the fight. The realm of Mortal Rebirthing was no longer enough to challenge him. He let his fire Qi pulse as it condensed into his hand after striking the neck of the seventh Elder.
Only one more person stood now.
"Tsu Shi," The Sect Leader spoke. The loud cheers and conversations from the disciples were silenced instantly. "Why had you not informed me you had broken through to the ninth ascension?"
The man opposite him had a fierce look on his face. His sharp brows and defined features made him quite handsome. Liu Xi, on the other hand, already resembled an old man.
"Is it necessary to report every little thing, respected Sect leader?" The look in his eyes was deadly, and Liu Xi took note of that.
"Do you covet my position?" His question cut straight into Tsu Shi's goals, evidenced by the frown on his face deepening.
"Your reign is over, old man. Just because you've attained some new realm doesn't erase what happened thirty years ago." Liu Xi's face darkened.
"That expedition was impossible to predict. You cannot blame that on me."
Tsu Shi didn't respond, his earth qi coating his fists in provocation. Liu Xi responded in kind as a light sheen of Qi appeared on his hands, several observers gasped. The Qi was so thick it was visible!
Liu Xi dashed forward, reaching the man in a single step. Tsu Shi's face darkened.
"Sun Strike."
Liu Xi's fist slammed into his jaw, his body soaring several dozen meters until it rolled to a halt. His face had slight burns on it, visible as he stood up to face Liu Xi again. Next to him, the knocked out form of Elder Ban Kai was stretched out on the floor, along with his spear. Tsu Shi grabbed the spear, a deadly expression on his face.
"Liu Xi, I didn't want to do this." He inspected the spear as he filled it with Qi. "But you've left me no choice. I wanted to keep this trump card hidden." Sensing the danger, Liu Xi's eyes widened as he propelled himself forward to strike Tsu Shi once more.
He was too slow. "Tribulation Piercing Spear!"
Tsu Shi launched the spear, it nearly vanishing from sight -- directly appearing in front of Liu Xi. His speed rushing forward, and the speed of the spear piercing toward him met.
It went straight through his body and dragged it along the trajectory of the weapon, pinning him to the wall on the opposite side of the courtyard. He let out a small cough of blood as shock and horror went through the rest of the sect. Tsu Shi had just slain Sect Leader Liu Xi!

I was dumbfounded. What the hell had happened in the short time I went to view the other sects and villages?
"Qinglong, is there any way I can go down to the world and train?" I asked, zooming around the planet trying to find a decent spot. The dragon hummed.
"You don't necessarily need to go down to the planet to train. The Admin Room is always equal to the densest Qi zone under your control." I gave him an odd look.
"You didn't think to tell me that before?" The dragon laughed.
"It was not necessary. If you plan to descend onto the world, however, your current strength is massively insufficient. You are equivalent to the first ascension in the Mortal Rebirthing realm." I let out a sigh.
"Can I buy some kind of manual or something for myself?" I checked my point count. 70 points seemed quite sufficient, considering the manual that both Tsu Shi and Liu Xi had cost less than a point each.
Qinglong confirmed that. "If you want, I can bring up the best techniques you can buy that will suit you the most." I smiled at Qinglong.
"That would be wonderful, Qinglong. Thank you." I waited for the next menu to pop up, excited to see what kind of overbearing technique names I'd get.
Warning!
God 'Qinglong' is requesting to spend 70 points on the following shop items.
1x Sun and Moon Celestial Body Manual (35 points)
1x Divine Spear Dance Manual (25 points)
1x Average Iron Spear (10 points)
My eye twitched as I turned to give him an odd look. "Why the hell does an average iron spear cost ten points?"
