Xu Ming stared blankly at Tsu Shi. This guy, he was too old to be acting like this...
In front of her stood a man with sparsely grayed hair. Sat in a pathetic excuse for a meditative pose, his eyes were clenched tight as his entire body shook. If she didn't know any better, Xu Ming would have thought he was having a stroke!
"Ah, Tsu Shi, you old man. What are you doing?" Her voice broke the silence of the dark, damp cave as it echoed.
"Hush up, old hag. I'm having an epiphany." His voice was grizzled. He sounded like a man who had been through immense conflict.
"Oh, what epiphany?" She scowled. "You have ten minutes before we begin the final strike on the Crimson Gate Sect! What could possibly be so enlightening?"
Both Xu Ming and Tsu Shi were at the peak of Qi Infusement, at the very edge of surpassing Soul Reconstruction. They were at the peak of this world!
Within the entirety of the Tiantian continent, they were at the top. Their lives were tied together with their shared karma toward the Crimson Gate Sect. If they wanted to advance, that sect would have to be utterly destroyed.
Tsu Shi sighed as he stood up. "Xu Ming'er, I was about to break through! Ah, whatever. It's gone now. Let's go!" He spun around and headed towards the cave's exit. Xu Ming could only roll her eyes; this guy, he tried too hard to be better than her.
She could only follow him as he pompously ran off. Her husband was just a little bit crazy, but that's okay. She looked down at the sharp stone sword that was held by her waist. This blade had followed her from the start, and she would use it to sever the inheritance of that Sect.
That damned sect! With a huff, she ran after Tsu Shi. "Wait up, old man. This young beauty shouldn't have to exert herself to catch up!"
Raucous laughter rang out from the two as they dashed forward. Outwardly, they were exuberant. But they knew the truth! Today, they would either die or succeed and become the true pinnacle within the Tiantian continent!
She looked to Tsu Shi, and spoke confidently as they raced out of the cave and into the surrounding forest. "I, Xu Ming, vow to become unparalleled!"
Tsu Shi responded in kind, his voice not faltering. "I, Tsu Shi, vow to become unparalleled!"
Within three days of travel, they would arrive. She could only hope they were really prepared for this fight.

After purchasing the Diyu, the world shook. Watching from the admin room, I could see every small change. And there were a lot of them. First and foremost, the ambient Gu -- death oriented Qi -- had decreased by almost 60% within the first few hours. Several sects across the world were panicking.
Those guys were definitely demonic cultivators. I didn't know that was a thing yet! I turned to Qinglong after confirmed Ming Yun's body was still undisturbed and unseen.
"Qinglong, how many people on the planet have a system?" He thought for a moment, his eyes glazing as he likely looked through various menus.
"Seventeen have currently been chosen to be the host to a system. Currently, they don't really have any true power to them aside from quantifying strength." I hummed. Suddenly, a notification came in.

Ah? The Diyu afterlife was already selling? I was slightly surprised. I hadn't thought it would sell so quickly. Another notification brought me out of my thoughts.
Sun Wukong: Hey, Jade Beauty, have you seen this item on the marketplace yet?
Sun Wukong has sent an item in chat. [Diyu -- Afterlife]
Sun Wukong: I know you have a cultivation world, this would be perfect for it! I just bought it and it's awesome!
It was this guy who bought it? Why did it have to be him? I groaned. This guy, he was really annoying. How did he even find it that fast?
Jade Beauty: Oh, hello Sun Wukong. I actually created that item. Thank you for the purchase. I'm currently lacking in points.
Sun Wukong: ...
Sun Wukong: This afterlife, what I really meant, is it's acceptable! Good job on creating it. Maybe I will use it.
Jade Beauty: ... Okay
Sun Wukong: I have already promoted it into my clan before knowing it was you who created it. Damn! I should have made you join before advertising it!
Sun Wukong: Actually, I just mean that ... you should join my clan! It would be a great idea! Plus, I advertised your product and ...
I stopped reading after that, watching several dozens of points pour in. From 17 points, I instantly rose to over one hundred! So fast! What was with the amount of people purchasing this?

Tsu Shi and Xu Ming arrived!
They were at the base of the Leaping Carp Mountain. At the top was the Crimson Gate Sect! Before them laid a sprawling village of non-cultivators. This...
Xu Ming had never heard of them having a city down here. She looked to Tsu Shi as they approached slowly. "Tsu Shi," she began.
"No, Xu Ming. This village... it wasn't here when I left!" They had a grave look on their face. Sects tended to be built around villages and cities; it was never the other way around. What was this sect up to?
Suddenly, it all became clear as they approached.
A villager looked at them. He, who was a mortal in every regard, dared to yell out their approach!
"Hail the Crimson Gate Sect! There are cultivators approaching Zhao Village!" A dark look appeared on their faces as they watched the people in the village scurry. Suddenly they spotted a fifth ascension brat who dared to try and run up to the top of the mountain and gather the Crimson Gate cultivators!
Tsu Shi rushed forward!
The non-cultivator who dared to call them out lost his head as Tsu Shi rushed past, his speed inhuman! A peak Qi Infusement cultivator, how could he not catch up to a fifth ascension?
A sword pierced the cultivators heart. Tsu Shi relaxed, and so did Xu Ming.
From opposite sides of the village, their eyes met. They seemed to communicate one sentence telepathically.
"What the f*ck do we do with the villagers?"
