"What are these?" Hans exclaimed as he gazed at the swirling portals in front of the building. They were dark and ominous, like gaping wounds in the fabric of reality.
"It must be the Mage Tower." Gorgon said grimly.
"So they've collaborated with the demon guild." Hans deduced.
"Yeah, I think the beast guild has also joined forces with them." Gorgon added. He clenched his fists, feeling a surge of anger.
Soon, a horde of monsters emerged from the portals. They were vicious and grotesque, with fangs, claws, horns, and scales. They were tamed by the beast guild members, who used wore leather clothes.
"Wait, what is she doing here?" Everyone gasped, spotting a familiar figure among the invaders.
"Yeah, isn't she the vice guildmaster of the beast guild?"
The figure was a woman riding on a majestic wolf. She had long silver hair and a bow in her hand. She was Nila, the vice guildmaster of the beast guild and the strongest archer in the land.
"Calm down, everyone. Our goal hasn't changed. We are here to protect our member, our family. And whoever stands against us, we will destroy them." Gorgon said, trying to rally his troops.
"That was a good speech, Commander Gorgon, but right now I don't think you would win against us." Nila said, mocking him. She had a cold and arrogant tone, as if she was looking down on them.
"Do you really think so?" Gorgon challenged, releasing his aura. It was a powerful and intimidating force, making everyone step back.
"You are strong indeed, but right now you are all heavily outnumbered." Nila said, unfazed. She gestured to the army of monsters and players behind her. They were ready to attack at her command.
"Beast guild has no reason to work with the demon guild. So what do you want?" Hans asked, hoping to find some logic in their actions.

"Well, we do have one reason, that's why I'm making you an offer. Why don't you give us Ethan and we will spare your lives?" Nila said, revealing her true motive.
Before Gorgon or Hans could say anything, a loud voice cut them off.
"Get lost." Hector, the captain of the sniper team, shouted from the terrace of a nearby building. He had a sniper rifle in his hand and a smirk on his face. "Instead of that nonsense crap, listen to my offer. Why don't you go back and we will spare your lives?"
"Awesome, captain." His team members praised him. They were all armed with guns and explosives, ready to provide cover fire for their comrades.
"Is this your answer, Commander Gorgon?" Nila said, suppressing her anger. She was annoyed by their defiance and arrogance.
"Yes." Gorgon said firmly. He was not going to give up Ethan, no matter what.
"You will regret it." She turned to her guild members and commanded, "Attack them."
"Everyone, get ready." Gorgon shouted, channeling a golden aura around him. He was prepared to fight to the death for his members, his family.
The monsters quickly rushed towards them, roaring and snarling. They were hideous creatures, with twisted limbs, razor-sharp teeth, and glowing eyes. They outnumbered the guild by at least ten to one.
"Hans." Gorgon called out.
"I know." Hans nodded, his eyes closed in concentration. He was the strongest battle priest in the land. He could cast multiple buffs and debuffs at the same time, enhancing his allies and weakening his enemies.
The monsters felt a sudden chill as Hans invoked his spells. Their movements slowed, their attacks weakened, their senses dulled. On the other hand, Gorgon's group felt a warm glow as Hans blessed them. Their speed, strength, and awareness increased.
They all easily overpowered the coming wave of monsters, slashing, stabbing, and smashing them with their weapons. Blood and guts splattered everywhere, but they did not flinch. They had seen worse. But that was just the beginning.
Soon more monsters started coming, and they were bigger and more ferocious. They were the elite of the horde, the ones that had survived countless battles. They had scars, armor, and weapons of their own. They were not afraid of the guild.
Gorgon alone took several monsters head on, charging into the fray with a roar. He swung his punch with deadly force, smashing through flesh and bone.
But the monsters were relentless. They clawed, bit, and stabbed him from all sides. They tore his armor, ripped his flesh, and broke his bones. He was bleeding from dozens of wounds, and his aura flickered. He stumbled and fell to his knees.
Nila expression brightened upon seeing this. She thought they were winning.
"Captain, Commander seems to be in danger. We should help him." A member of Hector's team said, his voice trembling.
"No, it's okay. Commander can handle it." Hector said, his voice calm and confident.
Soon, the golden aura around Gorgon intensified, shining like a sun. His wounds healed, his bones mended, and his strength increased. He rose to his feet, his eyes blazing with fury. He let out a deafening scream, and the monsters recoiled in fear.
"What! What happened!?" Nila gasped, her smile turning into a frown. She felt a surge of dread, and she realized her mistake.
"That's Commander's power. He can convert any damage to heal wounds or increase his strength." Hector explained, his voice smug and proud. He grinned, and he gave the signal.
Hector team started pouring bullets over the battlefield precisely aiming for the beast guild members who controlled those monsters.
The freed monsters, who had been enslaved by the beast guild, started to fight amongst each other. They were confused, angry, and hungry. They attacked anything that moved, even their former allies. The camp became a chaotic mess of blood and fur.
Nila, who had been watching the scene from a distance, joined the fray riding on her majestic wolf.
Gorgon's group, who had been fighting valiantly, also prepared themselves for their clash. They were exhausted, wounded, and outnumbered. But they were not ready to give up.
