As soon as Ethan arrived at the noisy and busy airport, he was greeted by the butler.
"Young master, over here." Butler waved his hand, holding a sign board with Ethan's name.
Ethan followed the butler and arrived in a black car. The car was spacious and cozy, with leather seats. Ethan sat in the back seat and the butler in the front seat. The driver started the engine and drove away from the airport.
After a few minutes of silence, Ethan asked bluntly, looking out of the window."How did the operation go?"
Butler glanced at him and felt sympathy and concern for him. He knew everything that had happened between him and his family. He hoped for them to reconcile and stay happy. He answered in a calm tone.
"It was a success, young master. Master has been fully cured."
Ethan nodded slightly, but he didn't say anything.
"But he still needs to be kept under observation, so it will be two or three weeks for him to get discharged.” Butler smiled and added, “He is looking forward to seeing you, young master. They all really miss you a lot."
"Okay." Ethan said in a monotonous tone.
After an hour of journey, they reached their destination, Gradion City's Central Hospital.
Ethan stepped out of the car and strode towards the hospital gate. The butler followed him, carrying a bag of gifts and fruits. As they walked forward, he noticed people around them averting their gazes.
'They all are still avoiding young master.' He thought to himself.

Soon, they reached Norman’s hospital ward, a spacious and well-furnished room with a large window overlooking the city.
The butler knocked on the door and said, “Master, Madam, young master is here.”
“Come in.” A weak voice replied.
Ethan entered the room and found his father lying on the bed, hooked to various machines and tubes that beeped and hissed. The aroma of freshly peeled apples wafted through the air, mingling with the antiseptic smell of the hospital as his mother peeled them on a small table, her eyes red and swollen from the tears she had shed. His brother, Mark, was playing with a toy car on the floor, unaware of the seriousness of the situation.
“Brother, you’re finally here.” Mark said cheerfully as he rushed towards him.
Ethan bent down to reach his height and asked. “Yes, how have you been?”
“I’ve been fine, but why did you come so late. I’m angry. I won’t talk to you.” Mark pouted and complained. He had been waiting for Ethan to come and play with him for a long time.
“Okay, I’m sorry.” Ethan said in a soft voice, hoping to appease his brother.
“Forgive me, okay? Look what I have brought for you.” He handed him a gift wrapped box with a smile.
"What is it?” Mark asked curiously, his eyes sparkled with excitement and curiosity. He loved surprises.
“Open it.” Ethan encouraged him.
Mark quickly unwrapped the box and was very surprised to see the gift. It was a transforming robot, the latest model in the market. He had always wanted one, but his parents never bought it for him.
“Wow! Transforming robot! Thank you.” Mark was really happy. He hugged Ethan and kissed his cheek.
“I’m glad you liked it. Now, do you forgive me?” Ethan asked, feeling a surge of warmth in his heart. He wished he could spend more time with his brother, but he knew he had to leave soon.
“Yes, but only this time.” Mark said, still holding the robot.
“Good. It’s getting late, you should go home now. I’ll meet you later.” Ethan said, ruffling his hair.
“Okay.” Mark said, reluctantly letting go of him. He followed the butler out of the room, waving his hand at Ethan.
Ethan turned to face his parents, who were watching him with mixed emotions. His father smiled weakly and said.
"You're finally here, Son." His voice was soft and affectionate.
"Yes, father, how have you been?" Ethan replied with a voice devoid of any emotion.
Norman sighed and silently looked at his son's expressionless face and eyes without any emotion. He had gotten used to his son's lack of response and blunt tone.
"What! What do you mean 'how have you been?'?" At Ethan's blunt question, Wanda couldn't contain herself and shouted, "Don't you already know everything? And why did you come so late?"
She was furious at her son’s indifference and coldness.
"I had to clear some dungeons." Ethan replied without caring too much.
"What? What dungeons? There would have been other players. Do you know how serious your dad's condition was?" Wanda asked.
"But isn't he fine now?" Ethan replied casually.
"You..!" Wanda wanted to continue, but she was stopped by Norman.
"Okay, stop you two, don't start an argument in the hospital." He turned his head to Ethan and said calmly
"I have been fine, son."
"That's good then." Ethan said flatly.
"You must be tired from traveling. You should go home and rest up." He wanted to say many more things but couldn't bring himself to.
"Okay." Ethan turned around and left the room.
In the silent room, only Norman and Wanda remained. And the sigh of Norman could be heard.
