Chapter 42

Chapter 42

Outside the meeting hall, Dagger, Mia, Leo, and Mike were gathered, consumed by worry and anxiety. They had just returned from the hospital, where they had witnessed their leader, Ethan, lying unconscious.

Mia, tears streaming down her face, couldn't contain her fears any longer. "Is everything going to be okay?" she whispered tremulously, seeking reassurance from her comrades.

"Don't worry. Everything would be okay." Dagger said, as he tried to comfort her. He put his arm around her shoulders and gave her a gentle squeeze. He was also feeling sad and scared, but he didn't want to show it. He wanted to be strong for Mia and the others.

"Yes. Boss is very strong. He will wake up soon." Leo said, as he tried to cheer them up. He forced a smile on his face and gave them a thumbs up. He was trying to be optimistic, but deep down he was also worried.

Words waned as they grappled with the weight of the situation, their hearts heavy with uncertainty and helplessness. They felt awkward and restless, as they waited for Norman to come back with some answers, their spirits clinging to the hope of a positive outcome.

Soon they were approached by a commanding figure. He was tall and slender, with short brown hair and piercing green eyes. He wore a leather jacket and jeans, and he carried few daggers on his belt. He had a stern and serious expression, and he walked with a swagger.

"So you all are here." That figure said, as he stopped in front of them. He had a deep and authoritative voice, and he spoke with a slight accent.

"What are you doing here, sir?" Leo quickly recognized the man. He was Aisel, the leader of team Gamma.

"I'm here to take my brother back." Aisel said, as he looked at Mike. His eyes softened a bit, as he showed a hint of concern.

"Pardon? Your brother?" Leo asked, as he didn't understand his words.

"Mike, it's time to come back." Aisel reached Mike and grabbed his hand. He pulled him towards him, as if he wanted to drag him away.

"But brother I want to be in young master’s team." Mike protested, as he resisted. He loved his brother, but he also loved his team, and he didn't want to leave them.

"No. I can’t allow you to be in danger any further." Aisel said, as he tightened his grip. He was worried about his brother. He had seen the state of Ethan, and he was scared that Mike could be next.

"I'm sorry but Mike is our teammate and we won't allow you to take him away." Dagger got in his way, as he blocked Aisel.

"And who are you to stop me?" Aisel released his aura, causing others to step back.

"Well well, I don't think you should fight in the building." Another voice came, as he interrupted them. He had a calm and smooth voice, and he spoke with a sense of humor.

"Roark, you should not meddle in this." Aisel said, as he recognized the voice. It belonged to Roark, the leader of team Alpha.

"I am not here to meddle in your matter but to suggest a solution." Roark said, as he appeared in front of them. He was handsome and elegant, with long blue hair and blue eyes. He wore a suit and a tie. He had a smile and a wink, and he showed it.

"What is it?" Aisel asked, as he was curious. He knew that Roark always had a plan, and he wanted to hear it.

"Why don't you two duel and whoever wins will decide what to do?" Roark said, as he proposed his idea. He was clever and playful, and he wanted to see some action.

"Okay I'm ready." Dagger immediately agreed, as he was confident.

"Fine then as you wish." Aisel also agreed, as he was eager.

"Okay then decide. I will be the judge." Roark shouted, as he volunteered himself as judge of the duel.

They all moved to the training grounds, where they could have their duel. They felt excited and nervous, as Aisel and Dagger prepared for the fight.
