The miyura was considered the most powerful weapon for Wilberforce for many reasons. One, it could temporarily borrow years of pol. Two, it could mark people's pol and use it to attack them. But the miyura was far more than just that. The writings, the swords, and the statue in it all served specific functions. Sure, its power came with a consequence, but that mattered little to Armad right now.
Armad reached deep inside him and channeled his pol into the miyura. It had always been him borrowing from the miyura, but now he was giving the miyura his pol.
Armad's remaining pol disappeared in an instant. His miyura shone more than ever before, and then his forehead split. A drop of blood dripped from the wound. Armad shuddered, blood oozing from his eyes, mouth, and nose. The wound in his forehead closed slowly, but his body grew weaker. His vision blurred and he fell on his knees.
The miyura yanked his pol and absorbed it. It didn't stop even when he had no pol remaining. It was an insatiable vortex that would consume everything. Armad gritted his teeth and forced himself to keep his eyes open. He would kill Uznu no matter the cost.
Hidaya sighed. She pointed at him and he calmed. The miyura stopped feeding on his pol. He felt instantly better and stood, smiling triumphantly at Uznu.
Uznu didn't understand at first, but then the drop of blood from Armad's forehead coalesced on the ground and then expanded into a ball of blood. The blood slowly took the shape of a man, and then gradually turned into a replica of the statue at the center of the miyura. It had human skin and features, looking like a middle-aged man, but it was listless with no expression.
Sword in hand, the statue opened its eyes and eyed Uznu.
Uznu began to sweat. He trembled uncontrollably just by looking at the statue.
The woman behind him looked scared as well. She had underestimated Armad all this while. But this fit was beyond even her.
She chanted a few words to uncover her strength and then ran forward and stood in front of Uznu.
"I am Shidaikiyya Wilberforce, daughter of Albarunu Wilberforce, brother to Aldaima Wilberforce of the First Dawn," she said. She knew Uznu didn't stand a chance against the statue. So she decided to use her bloodline ability to protect her husband. Knowing she was the strongest Wilberforce blood alive gave her confidence and hope.
The statue looked hesitant. It turned around and looked at Armad, waiting for his command, and when Armad nodded, it moved.
"How... How is that possible?" The woman stuttered. The statue had ignored her despite using her bloodline to stop it. There was a hierarchy in the tribe of Wilberforce. The young couldn't attack the old. So why did the Wilberforce soul stored in the miyura ignore her?

As she stood there in shock, the statue disappeared and then reappeared behind Uznu. One moment Uznu was there, the next his head was rolling on the ground. No one saw how it happened.
Shidaikiyya jumped forward and caught the headless body. She frantically infused pol into it.
The statue looked at her with narrowed eyes. It looked like it wanted to say something but it couldn't. Then the headless body caught fire. It burned down, leaving nothing but ash. A few seconds later, the head on the ground caught fire as well.
Yarsaira fainted.
Meanwhile, black chains descended from the sky and caught the statue. The countless chains coiled around the statue and then crashed it. The statue burst into countless fragments.
Armad felt like he was the one that was crashed. All his bones ached like hell. He just lied on the ground, drained. He'd defeated Uznu, but he no longer had any strength left in him. How could he help in the battle anymore?
Hidaya had been waiting for this moment. It was time to leave the battlefield. She walked to her brother. But Nostalgia went for him at the same time.
Hidaya didn't intend on taking Nostalgia with her. But Armad wouldn't like it. She slowed down hesitantly. Perhaps, she would have to take the two.
Being invisible, Nostalgia couldn't see Hidaya and walked past her as she went toward Armad.
Hidaya felt something peculiar about Nostalgia. The girl didn't smell like Bihanzin or Shishirui at all. Both Hasanu and Kiru smelled like Shishirui, so why not her?
She stared at Nostalgia, trying to figure something out. The girl clearly smelled like Wilberforce, but her pol design assumed an unusual course and she didn't have a miyura, so she obviously couldn't be Wilberforce. So if she wasn't Shishirui, then she couldn't be Bihanzin's daughter. But who was she? How could she smell like Wilberforce? Only one tribe smelled like Wilberforce, and that tribe was extinct.
Hidaya decided to send Zaikid a message, via ayrid.
The old man had already made dinner and was waiting for his family at home.
"Thanks for keeping me waiting," he replied to Hidaya's message sarcastically. "Dinner has been ready for a while, but none of you is home yet. Where are my grandson and daughter?"
"Sorry, old man, I will be there in a short while. Ja-Dulruri is coming ahead with Mother."
Zaikid cooled off a bit at that. "Oh, alright, but bring my grandson if you aren't ready to come back yourself."
Then, suddenly, Zaikid felt something was off. Hidaya wouldn't call just to tell him that. Did something bad happen on the battlefield
"Are you okay? Do you want me to come over?"
"No. I just want to know more about Aldaima's daughter, Lasina Nightingale Nara. You told me King Aldaima killed her, right?"
Zaikid was quiet for a while, then replied, "I buried her myself. Why?"
"Can you recognize her now even if she doesn't look the same?" Hidaya asked.
"Of course. But why do I need to recognize someone who had been dead for ages?"
Hidaya sighed. It was rare for her to not be able to understand something. "I will bring a girl for you to see."
"A girl? What girl? You can't possibly be thinking about... No, Hidaya, Lasina couldn't reincarnate. If she did, I would know about it."
Hidaya cut off the connection. She unsheathed her sword for the first time and turned to Armad and the mysterious girl who was supposed to be his wife.
Armad suddenly screamed. He stared at something in the distance with a blank expression.
Hidaya followed his line of sight and saw what happened.
Nostalgia stood several meters away with a spear piercing through her chest. She had gone to shield Hasanu from being decapitated by Daljari and was impaled as a result.
Hidaya frowned deeply. The girl was just running past her. How did she end up that far away? Hidaya would have seen spatial rifts if the girl had teleported. So what happened?
