About an hour's journey from Dúka, Armad asked them to stop. They had long planned how to enter the city, but making sure everything was in order was his job.
Armad explained, "This city of Dùka is one of the three cities with the largest number of jinzidal army in the lower worlds. It is also in it that Ururu stores intelligence and national information. A list of the people living in the equatora, including the politics of the region, is also kept there. We hope to find information about Nusi there. So we'll split into two groups: the first group will be searching the documents for any information while the second group will serve as a distraction.
"First, we'll figure out the powers in the town and the number of soldiers in it and where the data is being stored before we attack. Otherwise, we stand to lose our element of surprise." He looked at Ilias and said, "You have looked into it. Tell us about Ururu's troops on the ground so we'll know what we are facing."
Ilias cleared his throat and said, "The jinzidal army is divided into five divisions. Each division is under the command of one commander. And each commander has five captains under them.
"The 1st division commander is Dul'Ururu, the king of the second world. He is the leader of all five commanders. The 2nd division commander is Uznu Ururu, who rules our target city. The 3rd to 5th division commanders all lived in the second world. Rumor has it that the 3rd to 5th commanders have a special relationship with the Dul'Ururu.
"It's said that the strength of these five commanders and their cities is comparable to the strength of the five jinzidal Kings.
"Often people see the strength of these five commanders as the reason why the five jinzidal Kings never thought of attacking the second world. The five commanders are not only protecting the jinzidal, but they also play a role in reducing and containing the power of the jinzidal Kings. Without them, the jinzidal kings would have already ruled the six lower worlds from the second to the seventh world.
Stolen story; please report.
"There are five captains currently guarding our target city, each with a pol of at least one thousand years, all under the command of Uznu Ururu. As Armad said, if they know we are here, it will be difficult for us to find what we seek.
"Also because of the data stored in the town, everyone who enters or leaves the town is monitored. Its citizens are censored regularly. There are some traders unaccounted for and we are lucky today is market day. So one of us can impersonate a trader.
"Armad has no problem, he can use his photon jump to pass. I also have a Bend I can use to fly over the walls. That would leave one person still. Armad's ring doesn't take a conscious person. So how do we do it?"
"I also have a way to get in," Inara said. "I still have my credentials as a sailor. I'm going to insist on looking for a job. The guards will have no reason to reject me."
"Well then, that leaves a trader." Spoon slapped his chest.
They agreed on that. Spoon will blend in with the merchants, Ilias and Armad would use their skills, and Inara would use his sailor's credentials.
"Take this." Armad gave each of them a communication ayrid. "I will send you a message about my location once I'm inside. If anyone has any problem, you should contact me immediately."
Everyone nodded.
Ilias was the first to go. After reading a few verses, his whole body transformed into a giant, white hawk. He cried three times like a normal hawk and then flew into the sky. Armad and Inara were surprised, but Spoon knew about it already. Ilias had a djinn that specialized in transformation.
"Well then," Armad said with a sigh. It seemed his photon jump was no longer the most impressive Bend among the group. "Let's meet inside." He nodded and disappeared.
Spoon and Inara nodded to each other.
"I can't swim, so I'll take the boat," Spoon said.
Inara nodded. "Yes, senior." The boy dived into the water and disappeared.
Spoon sighed. He was all alone now. "A trader it's then."
