The lightning helped Armad in dissolving the ice. The problem was the ring on his finger was also affected.
Fortunately, after evolution, he could transform any part of his body however he wanted, using Sikai. His ring finger was immediately protected from the lightning as it turned into flesh and blood. But that would mean the finger would be frozen. Fortunately for Armad, Uznu was no longer interested in freezing him up.
"I'm done warming up. You can help yourself by showing any techniques you may be hiding," Uznu told him.
Armad shrugged and said, "You still won't surrender?"
Uznu walked to Armad using simple footwork to disappear and reappear in front of his target. He raised his two weapons (a tomahawk in his left and a sword in his right) and attacked, leaving snowflakes in his wake.
Armad blocked the opponent's sword with his sword, or at least he tried to, but Uznu already foresaw it. He felt the sword as it slashed him on his left and the staff as it hit him on the head.
Armad quickly summoned three lightning humanoids again to trick Uznu as before. The first clone attacked from above, Uznu dodged it. The second clone attacked from the left, Uznu dodged it. Armad wasn't surprised. The third time was always the charm. Its attacks had been delayed by several seconds despite starting at the time with the two previous attacks.
The pure lightning blade came crashing from behind Uznu. If Armad could land this attack, then he would balance the earlier attack scored against him. In the end, it would be a battle of attrition where they hit each other. The one who could withstand the most attacks would win.
But even as Armad fantasized about everything in his mind, Uznu surprised him by dodging the last attack. His eyes went wide.
"You think these were summoned for nothing?" Uznu said, pointing at the eyes above him. "It is now possible for me to foresee up to six seconds of your intentions. You shall see why Ururu is indestructible."
He shielded his sword and tomahawk and recited some more incantations. His black eyes turned so black that they seemed to have been white previously. The spot where he stood took on the black aura. It was noon but it suddenly turned into evening. After ten seconds, it turned into the late evening. Another twenty seconds later, the surrounding area became dark as night. It became so dark that it eclipsed every light around them.
Then the darkness pulled the weapons dropped on the battlefield. Some unseen power escaped from Uznu's eyes and pulled everything toward it. Even the corpses on the battlefield were pulled toward it. The living were not spared either. When the nearby people disappeared in the darkness, others watching from afar took to their heel, for fear of the unknown. They didn't know where the darkness would take them.
There had been rumors about it for a long time. Some said it was connected to the djinn realm and so all the people who disappeared inside it would be taken there. Others said it wasn't the djinn realm, rather it was the Ururu realm. Others even believed you would become a slave somewhere once you were sucked inside.

People caught inside screamed. They tried to escape but the grip on them was too strong.
Armad summoned his gravity sword and pushed himself away from the force.
Armad gained the ability to alter gravity around him. It was the only thing he could think of doing at the moment. Luckily, it worked. He stopped feeling lightheaded and dizzy.
Five minutes passed slowly. Everything then became calm. The screams disappeared and the darkness waned.
Armad wasn't sucked, but like everyone else, he didn't know what would happen once he was sucked into the darkness, and he didn't want to wait and find out either. So he summoned the biggest Bend he'd reserved for just such occasion.
His sword returned to its original metallic form, a red and black lining adorning it. Then he suddenly vanished and reappeared in half a second at the same spot. Judgement Dance was already set in motion, unnoticed by anyone.
Armad sheathed his sword for the first time and just watched his opponent with a nonchalant attitude. When visibility returned, a deep crater had formed in the middle of the battlefield. Everything around Armad and Uznu had disappeared to some unknown world.
The battlefield turned eerily silent as everyone turned their attention toward Armad and Uznu.
Uznu looked at Armad like he was seeing a dead person, which honestly confused Armad. The last Bend used by his opponent had failed to vanish him and he survived using his gravity. He was even able to launch a counter, which could start working any time from now.
So, why would Uznu look smug like he'd won?
Armad felt a chill run down his spine. What if the earlier Bend his opponent used was just a demonstration?
As if answering his questions, a black light shot out of Uznu's eyes and went directly for him. It thickened as it went. The air surrounding the light burned and turned into a cloud of black smoke. A ghostly voice was heard talking in a scary tone. Nobody could comprehend what the ghostly voice was saying, but a chill descended on the entire battlefield just by listening to it.
Knowing that he couldn't escape the light even if he tried, Armad unsheathed his blade and tried to block it. But then the attack avoided his blade at the last moment and speared him from chest to back. Armad had confidence in his Judgement Dance. No matter the damage caused by Uznu, the Judgement Dance would do more to him.
As the light pierced him, Armad felt a drowning sensation. His eyes blurred. It was as if something was covering his eyes. While on the verge of losing his consciousness, he removed his ring and threw it aside. Kiru and Hasanu had been nearby and would hopefully catch it. Whatever would happen to him, he didn't want to risk the life of his mother and wife.
When his mind became clear again, he opened his eyes and found himself in a dark abyss. He could make out the outline of some gigantic creatures in the distance. Other similar but smaller creatures stood around them.
The faces of the creatures slowly became clear. Armad thought it was his eyes that were accommodating with the dark environment, but he soon realized he was wrong. He could see the creatures only because they were darker than the abyss. Their extreme black skin overshadowed the dark abyss and made it look cute.
Where on Earth did he end up?
Back on the battlefield, the people only saw Armad vanish. Only a few of the veterans understood what happened.
"He's finally gone."
"What a tenacious bastard."
"I almost admired him."
"Well, you have a weak heart and judgment. I always knew he would lose."
Fortunately, Ilias, who had just joined the battle, caught the storage ring before it landed. He would keep Armad's mother and wife safe.
