James awoke to the infirmary again. This time there was no one besides him in the infirmary. James thought it was strange that no one else was healing in the infirmary. Beside the bed, James saw a note. Reaching for the note and opening it. Before he could start to read it, the note caught fire, but the words started to float off the paper and into James brain. The note contained a bit of information on why he was alone in the infirmary. It was due to the fact that the infirmary creates a demi-plane for every student when they are injured, giving them a private area to heal. The note also told James that now that the first lesson was done, he was free to explore until Merabel contacted him again.

James had almost fully healed. His arm was usable again due to the room's healing effect. The only thing still affecting James was the fear from the battle yesterday. It was his first real-life or death battle. It was going to take a bit to recover from that mentally. James stood up, getting ready to walk out the door. Right before he was able to step out the door, it opened, revealing a white-haired student. The student said to James, "Hello, my name is Zye. I'm one of the guides for new members. Ill be showing you around for the time being and explaining what everything is.” James told Zye, "Good, I was going to look around today, but with your help it will be a lot easier. Just let me grab my stuff and put on my shoes.” Zye was shocked and asked James, "What do you still wear shoes for?" I haven’t seen anyone with those in a long time. What were you doing before you joined the hidden truth?" James thought it was a weird question for Zye to ask but still answered him so as not to be rude. “I was just a normal detective. Everyone in the cities and towns wears shoes. Why do you ask?” Zye answered James, “Most mages don’t really care about putting shoes on due to the fact that usually they float or teleport around. Also mages physical bodies are strong enough to withstand simple physical damage like walking on rocks.” Once he heard that, James realized he was still thinking with his old mindset based on the mortal world. While he had adapted to the kill or be killed, James still didn’t understand how this new world worked. So after he was done exploring the hidden truths headquarters, James decided he would go to the library and research the basics on how to survive this new side of the world.

Now that James had decided to ignore wearing his shoes from now on, he started to follow Zye around the headquarters. While guiding James around, Zye was explaining all the major key places. “We just passed by the exchange office where you can exchange your contribution points for treasures.” After walking for another few minutes, Zye started to explain again. “Right now we are walking through the members market, where you can find treasures for sale by other members. In the center of the market, you will find the missions tower, where you can view missions posted by other members or higher-ups. It was the dormitories and the cafeteria, but both of these facilities were massive. James asked Zye, “How are they so big? I was fine with the infirmary because of magic, but even with magic, how does a door lead to such a big room?" Zye started to laugh, and once he finished, he answered James, “I forgot you're still new to all this. Both facilities take up an entire realm created by the higher up in the organization." James was shocked that humans could become so strong to the point of creating their own realms using magic. James asked Zye, “How strong do you have to be to do that?” Zye just shrugged his shoulders and said, “No clue; Im still just one of the low-ranking members.” After which Zye kept walking with James following him. Nothing interesting was shown for the next hour. It was just Zye showing James around to different classrooms until they reached the library. Zye told James, “We have reached the library and the end of the simple tour. There are still facilities that I didn’t show you, but that's because you're not a high enough ranking member yet. Now you can either go off and do whatever or choose to use your one free library visit every new member gets.”
