Welp, there they go. Sadly, I can’t enter Ryleth since I’m a Lake Heir, so I figured I’d just explore the ocean a little further.
Ryleth really is contained in a massive structure, it’s in the shape of a shark egg. One of those weird Spiral Shark eggs. Ryleth has massive holes that line the inner spiral. It’s an amazing sight.. You know, I probably COULD lift it, if I really tried.
Hey guys, check it out, I found a starfish!
-√C-
My name is Dartingkamble, I’m a megalodon demi-human, and I’m currently getting weird looks, as I wait for my visiting badge. You know, because this is necessary. I guess it’s rude to act like this though, people would be quite suspicious. Anyways, the badge’s importance is to tell the residents of Ryleth that we’re tourists from Genesis-Haven, and have certain immunities. Not that we’re free to just break all the laws we like, or can restrict anyone’s freedom of course.
Alright, everyone’s finally through. The inside is more amazing than the outside. It’s mostly hollow, but ocean currents flow through some of the major holes, and out the other ones. They’re floating completely free in the air, it turns out they use magic to let them flow like they usually would through the openings, as if they were submerged. I believe they’re called: “The Soaring Currents.” A large noise ripples through the air, as a soaring current flows through one of Ryleth’s openings, and out another. So that’s how they appear.
I’m glad it’s mostly air in here, it means I don’t have to come up with excuses for why I’m not swimming everywhere. There’s a lot of beautifully decorated fountains, aqueducts that lead to massive waterfalls, and other such structures that have water flowing through them of course. But enough of that, I should go find the Royal-Crypt.
“Hey, Kass, we should go find that ‘Royal-Crypt’ in case we have some sort of inheritance.” I say to my close sister as I approach her. She looks at me. “I don’t know, I was invited to the queen’s palace. We really hit it off before she had to leave, so I’ve been excited to see it.” Kass says, with a nervous and apologetic look on her face, completely taking me by surprise. “Well, it can wait until after we’ve been to the Royal-Crypt.” I continue, causing her a minor level of disappointment. “Well, alright then.. I don’t see what’s so important about your stupid assets though.” She folds her arms, and starts pouting. “We have no money to speak of amongst the whole family. What if you find something you want to buy something, and then you’re disappointed when you find out you can’t get it because you can’t get a job?” She gives up quickly, and wises up.. “Alright, alright, I get it, enough with the tantrum.” She says, as she tries to passive aggressively calm me down, while I’m already calm. “Whatever, let’s just get going.” We separate from the group, and more people continue to stare at us. Mostly sharks and shark demi-humans.
“-Is that a mega-” “-what family are they from-” “-don’t you see that badge-” “-just ignore them-” People whisper amongst each other, probably thinking I can’t hear them.
We finally arrive at the Royal-Crypt, it’s a massive building floating in the middle of Ryleth, connected by an appropriately large bridge, and tethered by powerful cords that extend to the outer walls of Ryleth.. Whoever owns this thing must be very wealthy..
Many people sit around, waiting to enter the building. We arrive at the concession stand, and a goldfish demi-human with fin piercings looks down at us, a bored expression on her face. “Go home kid, just because-” She says, as she slowly turns to look at me, noticing my badge, then the amount of fins on my body. “Wait, you’ve got quite a few fins there-” I show off my tail fins, and her eyes widen. “W-Wait a minute, are you-” This catches everyone else’s attention. “I am Dartingkamble, and I’ve come to ask the warden about any possible inheritance from my late ancestors.” I say, causing her to nod slowly. “Right, I’ll get you processed as soon as possible. I’ll just need DNA verification from both of you-” I tear off a hair follicle from both me and Kass, taking her by surprise, and handing them to the goldfish lady. “Ah- uh- right..” She says, as she does whatever she does with them. “Holy shit.. You’re an actual match for Billiouskamble, and your sister is a match for Stetarakamble.” I nod to her, as Kass presses her fingers on the area I plucked the follicle from. “Alright, just wait over there while we get your information processed- uh..” She stares at us, waiting for our names- “Dartingkamble and Kassinkamble.” I say, letting her write everything down.

“Mama Mama!” I shout as my mother finally returns home, causing her to pick me up as I jump into her arms! “What is it honey?” She says, with a big bright smile! “What’s your name?!” I shout, not surprising her at all. “I don’t know! But I DO remember yours!” She laughs out loud, spinning with me. “What’s my name mommy?!” I shout, as I laugh with her. “It’s Stalatia!” We cheer together, laughing it all away.
We finally come to a stop, so momma can hug me. “I had a lot of fun Stalatia, it turns out they really DID have a puddle kid up there!” Momma begins to tell me about her day, and I listen carefully. “Woah! Were they really mean like the stories say?!” Momma finally lets me down onto the floor, and shakes her head. “Nope, they were very hospitable. And get this, it’s a kingdom ruled by CHILDREN! Can you believe that?! I bet you’d love it with all the other kids!” Mamma says, happily making me giggle. “My home’s with mommy! I bet they have tons of fun though!” We laugh together, causing the guards to hold their ears, so they don’t get too excited too.
“Mamma! Can I say hi to them some day?!” I clap my hands in pure delight. “I already invited a young girl named Kassinkamble, I thought you and her would really get along! Her brother on the other hand~” She leans into my ear, covering her mouth and my ear with her hand, and looking out for listeners. “I think he’s a bit too serious to play with.” She says, taking me by surprise. I cheer anyway to keep up the good mood!
“Princess, you have Seismic-Trident training scheduled in half an hour! Would you like to reschedule?” My personal butler calls out to me, taking both me and momma by surprise. I shake my head, as he walks up. “Please. By all means, it’s your first day, you should make sure to leave a good first impression.” Mamma says.. “I’ll do it!” Me and momma cheer one more time, and give the staff a break. “Come on, we have to go make that good first impression!” I shout to my butler, as I run off, making him stumble to catch up with me.

Oh- Oh- Check THIS guy out, this is a box jellyfish, it’s got some of the deadliest poison on earth. I dunno about here on Orion, but I bet he’s even more dangerous! Good thing I don’t have a body to get infected!
“I-Is that- is that a puddle kid?” I hear someone speak up from behind me- I turn around to look, and it’s a little boy. He’s wearing suspenders, with a white button up t-shirt. He almost looks like a normal human.. But he’s got some sort of Octopus on his head? Well, you might mistake it for a really weird hairdo from a distance...
Demi - “You can see me?”
He reels back in surprise, until he speaks up again. “Y-Yes, my father taught me how ta’ locate’em- I mean the puddle- I mean your- uh-” He tries to figure out what to say, until I interrupt him.
Demi - “It’s fine, I’m not like my ancestors, there’s nothing to fear.”
His breathing begins to slow down as he calms himself. “R-Right.. What’s uh- what’s your name?” He asks me, surprisingly quickly.
Demi - “My name is Demitallis. How about you?”
“Oh- Right- um- The name’s Sirius. I’ve never met a puddle kid before, pops said he killed hundreds of’em in his day. N-Not that I-” He continues to try and save face, before I interrupt him again-
Demi - “I’m a lake heir, specifically, and It’s quite alright, your father was completely in his right to kill them. I hold no grudge whatsoever.”
He sighs in relief, then gets serious. “Well, I’m glad ta’ hear that. Now that I know yer’ good~ I think you could help me, if ya’ willin’.” The boy with a weird accent says, further grabbing my attention.
Demi - “Alright, let’s hear it then.”
-√C-
“Dartingkamble, Kassinkamble, you’re up.” Goldy-Fish says, causing me to stand up, and wake up Kass. “Kass, come on.” After about a minute, she wakes up, and we walk up to the entrance. It opens slowly, and we walk through, finding ourselves in a large dark room. “Welcome to the Royal-Crypt.” A deep robotic voice fills the air, accompanied by multiple lights filling the room with illumination.
We continue to look around, until our eyes land on a large-segmented-moving-orb. You can see each individual segment clearly, as they’re separated out into large pieces.
“State your names, and affiliations.” He says, taking us by surprise. “A-Are you the warden?” I say, causing his weird eye thing to spin and retract, signifying acknowledgement. “This is correct, please state names and affiliations.” Ah- r-right.
“I am Dartingkamble, of the Kamble family, and this is my sister, Kassinkamble, of the Kamble family.” He lights up green at my name, but ignores Kass’s- “Dartingkamble accepted- Please state your name and affiliations.” Kass just looks at me worriedly, until I motion her to speak up. “Oh- uh- I am Kassinkamble of the Kamble family name.” She says, mimicking what I said.
“Accepted, welcome to the Royal-Crypt-” -his eye-segment spins in place for a moment, as he says our names- “Darting-kamble- Kassin-kamble-” -His eye-segment moves back into place, as he finishes- “Deploying monitor: ‘Six-Eight-Six-Kaleidoscope’ Please enjoy your visit to the Royal-Crypt.” The warden finishes, and a smaller-warden-looking robot floats over to us.
“Welcome reclaimer, I am monitor designated: ‘Six-Eight-Six-Kaleidoscope’ but previous users have called me Kleid, if it would help!” He says to us, in a light and cheery tone, surprising us with his more complicated level of emotion. “Th-that won’t be needed- uh- Kaleidoscope, I just need to find the- Uh- Kamble vault?” I look at Kass who just shrugs. “I apologize, reclaimer. Am I not a suitable monitor?” He says, taking us by surprise for the nth time. “N-No, you’re fine. Why wouldn’t you be?” I ask, mistakenly. “I am one of the ‘child-friendly’ Monitors, constructed with adolescent convenience in mind.” I nod slowly, as I wait for him to finish. “So in other words, we were given you, because they think we’re immature.” I say, as Kass and I move on with our Monitor. “I apologize, reclaimer. Have I offended you?” He says, annoying me further. “Listen, I just want to get this over with, so Kass and I can visit the queen, then go home.” Kass folds her arms, then gives me a less than desirable look. “Come on Dart, he’s just trying to be nice.” She says, calling him down, and annoying me. “They call you Kaleidoscope. Why is that?” She continues.. Actually, I WAS a little intrigued by that.. “It’s because I contain multiple kaleidoscopic lights, for entertainment purposes.” He shows off a few Kaleidoscopic art pieces. We watch as they move mesmerizingly. “Woah.. That’s so cool!” Kass shouts in excitement. “You’re pretty cool, Kleid.” Good lord.. “Thank you reclaimer-” He stops suddenly in front of a vault with a symbol on it. “We have arrived, reclaimers. Would you like me to open your vault?” He says, as I simply stare at the vault.
“Yes. Open it, I want to see everything.”

“I’mma’ bounty hunter, see? And I was ordered to blow away a few punks. You gettin’ all this?” He asks me, uncertain if I’m even listening, due to a lack of facial expression to show my interest.
Demi - “Yes, I’m getting everything, sorry about the lack of facial expression. Kind of hard to emote, without the primary emoting tool..”
He just nods at me, then continues. “Right, I was on my way to either kill or capture this man named; ‘Mergalisk-Vast-Forb’ He’s a blue whale, and I think he knows I’m after him-”
Demi - “Wait, like, an ACTUAL blue whale? Not like, a demi-human or something?”
He’s surprised, but he continues. “Yes.. He’s the full whale. His size has come with lots’a strength, and he’s gotta’ telepathy skill. If you can kill’em, I’ll give ya’ half’a the reward, and I’ll get’in the guild. If you can capture’im however, you might be able to get that telepathy skill out of’im, I was thinking you might be interested in it.” He grins with his arms folded, after offering me a special reward. He’s right, I am interested..
Demi - “Yeah, I like the idea of that, let’s do this.”
He holds out his hand for a moment, but then realizes I don’t have anything for him to shake, and pulls it back, laughing with me at how silly it was. We finally depart, and Sirius guides me.

Kleid guides us through our vault, showing us everything we own. As expected, there’s lots of assets to inherit. “You were right, Dart! This really was worth it!” Kass says, as she stares at all of the gold and jewels. There’s all kinds of stuff in here, the Kamble family really was rich. “Sadly, everything was rushed into the vault, so they didn’t have enough time to organize everything. But nothing was damaged, and everything has been well kept.”
He’s right, it HAS been well kept, there’s no signs of age whatsoever. It must be time magic. “How DO you keep everything nice looking? Without opening the vault?” Kass asks the question with an obvious answer. “Time magic, the owner of the Royal Crypt is a wielder of Time magic. If you wish to remove anything, we’ll have to contact-”

“Right here!” We hear come from behind us, inside of our vault. We turn around quickly, and spot a girl with four arms, nine tails, and red gems on her forehead. She’s wearing a ruby red and jade green dress. “Hi, I’m the owner of the Royal Crypt. My name’s a little long, so you can just call me Demi.” She says, causing us to look at each other. “Oh- Uh.. We already know somebody we call Demi, her name is Demitallis actually.” Kass says, surprising the short woman. “W-Wait, is that- Are you Kassinkamble?” She asks, as she approaches us. “O-Oh, you know my name. Yes.” Kass says, as she runs over, then looks at me. “Then you must be Dartingkamble- You’re so tiny! Like me!” She points at us, then at herself and laughs, confusing us further. “What are you talking about?” I say, making the mistake of trying to figure out what’s going on, and surprising her again. “O-Oh, right, you- right, you wanted to make a withdrawal?” She asks me, making a sudden tone shift. “Yes, I would like to move everything to Neo-Genesis-Haven.” I calmly say to her, finally getting somewhere. She nods, and her gems start to glow. “One moment, this might take a while~” Everything in the room disappears instantly, if I wasn’t paying attention, I might have not even noticed it was gone- “Sorry that took so long- I believe you should be on your way to meet the queen’s daughter, correct?” Kass nods quickly before I can do anything, and with that- we find ourselves at the front door of the palace.
-√F-
“Like this?”
I ask, as I twist and twirl my trident around my body, smashing its orb against the floor. “Yes, your highness, you learn quickly. Yes.” I’ve only begun my trident training today, but I’m doing really well. My trident has its three prongs on the front, but a large orb on the other end. Mr. Filo was teaching me one of the crushing techniques. With this one, you twirl the trident around your body to fake out your opponent, then you slam it against the floor to knock them off their balance.
“I think that is enough for today, your highness. Yes.” Mr. Filo says, as he places his own trident on his back. “You’re learning to use your Seismic Trident at an impressive pace, Princess Stalatia. Yes.” He proudly says to me, as he rests on one of the stone benches.
“What will you teach me next, Mr. Filo?” I ask my personal trainer, making him think to himself for a moment. “Training is complete for today, but tomorrow, I might try introducing you to the more advanced skills. Yes..” I nod happily, then run off.
I find myself on the balcony, looking out at the kingdom that will someday be mine. “I wonder how old I’ll be at that point..” I say, as I rest my cheek against my hand, leaning against the railing that is almost as tall as me.
“Well, your mother is VERY healthy, she’s expected to rule for another one thousand years.” My personal Butler says, carrying a plate of food. He always knows what I’m thinking.. “Food, your Highness?” He asks, holding the food down to me. “Yes, actually. I am a little hungry, thank you Wally.” His name is Wallester Gillad, specifically, if you were curious.
“How long do you think I will rule for?” I ask him, making him think to himself for a little while. “Well, you’re too young to be sure, but if I had to guess, I would have to say your rule would last for one thousand years yourself..” He says, fully confident in my ability.
Something surprises him, and he speaks up. “Oh, your Highness- the guests have arrived-” Guests- I thought it was just one Guest- “Shall we meet them in the entrance?” He asks me quickly, and I nod just as fast.
We find ourselves on the landing, and spot my Mother interacting with the guests. They’re both sharks, megalodons specifically. One of them is female, must be the Kass girl momma was talking about, but the other one is a boy, and he- he- he’s so cute! “Mamma, Mamma!” I shout, while carelessly running down the staircase-
-√C-
She runs down the staircase carelessly, after having shouted: ‘Mamma, Mamma!’ until she falls face first into the steps, rolling down them, and horrifying the Butler. “L-Lady Stalatia!” He shouts as he runs down the stairs, stumbling down them himself. A comedic display of subpar motor control. Once- uh- Stalatia finally stops tumbling, she runs up to her Mother. “Hi Mommy!” She shouts happily, with a bruised and bleeding face, while she holds her arms up.
Her Mother picks her up, giggling with her like she didn’t just watch her daughter slap her face against every step of the large staircase. “Hello honey! Here’s the girl named Kass I was telling you about!” She looks at me, then points. “That must be her brother then! The one you said was super mean?” Did she now… I just stare daggers at the mother, as a drop of sweat streams down her happy face.
Kass on the other hand is laughing her head off. “You got that right! Dart’s the biggest meanie in the world!” She shouts, annoying me further. The guards on the other hand, have already left the room. I don’t blame them, I already regret coming here.
Stalatia is a little shorter than Kass and I, who are of equal height. Her mother finally lets her down again, and she runs up to us. “Are you okay?” I ask, before she can say anything. She just looks at her reflection in the floor, then finally notices the trail of blood leading from where she had her accident. She also notices the butler having a heart attack trying to keep up with her.
She looks back at me, then smiles. “I’M OKAY!” Her voice rings through my ears, but I somehow manage to keep myself from trying to cover them. The butler finally catches up to her, and cleans up her face. “Please mind your volume, Princess, your guests’ ears aren’t as tough as you and your mother’s.” He says, in a soft tone. I don’t think her ears are somehow tougher than mine, but I won’t be the one to look a gift horse in the mouth.
“I have to know.. Is she ALWAYS like this?” I say, giving him a surprised look. “O-Oh no, she’s just particularly excited.” His words say one thing, but the look on his face says something else. As he finally finishes patching up her face.
She looks at me again, and we lock eyes. She.. She’s actually- “Hi!” She shouts at me, making me lose my train of thought. She jumped in place and threw her hand up to get my attention, as though she didn’t already have it. Her fins danced through the air, until she landed again. “H-Hello there... I believe your name is-”
-√F-
“-Stalatia?” He asks me, his pained expression unflinching, his gaze unyielding.. He’s amazing, but.. But I don’t think he likes me- “Hey, you’re a betta, right?” Kass says, curiously. I was surprised for a moment, I didn’t think she would pick up on that. “Oh- Yeah, I am. How’d you notice?” I ask, finally finding my calm. “Oh, I recognized your fins. They’re very pretty.” She complimented my colors.
My fins are quite large like my mother’s, but my colors are a mix of dark purples and blues, unlike my momma’s bright reds and blues. I can’t fold away my fins like some demi-humans, so I usually just let mine rest on my body. My colors match my Hair which I’ve had the maids braid into long cords that extend down my back.
My fins- more specifically- I have about five fins in total. My mom has around fifteen, but I’m still growing. On my face, I have two long but thin fins that extend from my cheeks, reaching down to about to my elbows. Connecting from my wrists to my hips are my second largest fins. Next is my tail fin, which is the largest fin on my body, it connects and extends from my hip bone, creating that sort of dress illusion, since it extends down past my feet, and rests on the floor, much like the tail feathers of a peacock, just a bit shorter. The size of my fins, and how loose they are is what really makes them look like a dress, to be honest.
I’ve considered fin piercings before, but momma said I was beautiful enough without them. Despite the fact that most betta demi-humans like to get their fins pierced. I dunno, I guess I’m mostly just interested in it. Kass and Dart here have thicker and tougher fins, so it would probably be more painful for them, but less intrusive when swimming.
“Well, I guess it’s about time I got going, I only came here to drop off Kass anyways, and I wouldn’t want to ruin your fun.” Dart says, turning around to walk out the door- I grab his arm quickly, and he turns around, surprised. “W-Wait-” I say, confusing him further. “Y-You don’t have to go!” I shout, surprising everyone in the room. “You heard her, Dart.” Kass says, making him fully turn around. “Well I guess I can stay a little longer, but I have other things to do.” He says, as he looks away. “Yay!” I shout, as I run off with both of them.
-√A-
Demi - “Is that him?”
“No, that’s a’ different whale.”
Demi - “Oh, it must be the other one then.”
“Yep.” He says, even though I am legit talking about the same damn whale. Seriously, you have no idea how often this happens to me. “A’ight, we’ve found’im, I needa’ contact the guild’n’tell’em I got the contract in my sights.” He says, as he swims away from me, pressing his fingers against a device on his surprisingly pointy ear.
I watch as the Whales just swims around with the other whale, then finally separating, no apparent pattern to his actions. “A’ight, I’m back.”
Demi - “How tough do you think he is?”
Sirius pulls out a map, and shows it to me. “A’ight, get’em ‘ere, and me’an’ma’bois’ll’ take care’a’da’rest.” He says with a mean grinn, after having stabbed the map with a knife.
Demi - “Did you have to stab the map?”
He looks at me confused, then looks at the map. “Oh, uh-” He just stares at it for a moment, then continues.. “I guess not…” We just stare at the murdered map for a moment, until he swims off. “Anyways, beat’em’up, take’em to’da rendezvous!” He shouts at me, making me worry that Mergalisk will hear him.
Looking back over at Mergalisk, I don’t think he did. I thought he was supposed to be pretty strong. I am much bigger than him though.
Well, I better get started. I push myself through the water, completely surrounding him. I stretch myself to about ten times my size.
AND~ Crush!
He squirms under the pressure, his size doing him no favors. He scatters magic bullets into the water, trying to hit an attacker he can’t find. I have to admit though, if I wasn’t as fast at disconnecting and reconnecting, he might have caused me actual damage.
And after about an hour, he’s out. Man I’m glad I’m in the ocean, he might have actually put up a fight otherwise. Well, that’s the luck of the draw I guess.
Let’s get 'em to da’ rendezvous!

“Have you ever heard of martial arts?”
Kass asks, surprising me. “Yes, of course I have!” I answer excitedly. I’ve never really practiced any form of martial arts, but I did like to watch the performers’ choreography during festivals. I did especially like watching how the martial artists moved, sometimes I would focus on them during the entire celebration.
“Kass herself practices martial arts.” Dart says, as we sit together in the garden. “Thanks Dart. I practice the elemental styles, I’m currently trying to learn Fire magic’s martial arts. First you start by learning Fire Magic, which I have. Then you have to learn Mythical Fire magic, which I’m sure you already know what that is. And finally you can start learning the martial arts. The one I’ve been practicing is Ember Point Explosion style. It uses pressure points. What you’re supposed to do is locate someone’s pressure points, and strike them with your index and middle fingers, while charging explosive fire in them, causing the struck points to explode. Yeah, Fire magic’s martial arts are intentionally lethal.” She finishes, continuing to show off her fire magic mastery. Mythical Fire magic, and Mythical magic. I had no idea it required such advanced skills like that, and that all those Elemental Martial Artists were capable of it. I didn’t think there were children as old as me who could wield something as complicated as Mythical magic in the first place, I especially couldn’t imagine trying to turn myself into fire, I don’t even know where I would begin with something like that.
“But what could this provide us financially?” This confuses me and Kass for a moment, as we watch Dart think to himself. “I guess I could be paid to teach these lessons?” Kass says, now also thinking to herself. “Me and my mother have never had to worry about financial troubles, since our kingdom has been running off of an already working system for hundreds of years before us.” I say, with a bright smile, surprising them. “That’s right- Stalatia- There were OTHER kingdoms right? I always assumed it couldn’t just be Ryleth- When I learned of what the puddle kids actually were, it all clicked. What happened to all of them after the Puddle Kids?” Dart quickly asks me, surprising me with his curiosity. “Oh, I don’t have all the details, but I believe Ryleth’s military confiscated everything they could get their hands on, it saved our city from ruin.” I quickly explained a little bit of history, surprising them. “That must mean-” Dart says, as he walks away thinking to himself. I look at Kass. “Your brother is very silly.” I say while giggling.
Kass laughs with me, both of us unable to return Dart’s attention. “Yeah, he might be rude, but he’s the silliest!” Me and Kass just watch as he sits there to think to himself. “Hey, Stalatia- Ryleth couldn’t have obtained EVERYTHING the ocean has to offer, right? Which means there’s ruins that could be full of treasure, right?” He says, as he slowly approaches, his expression refusing to show any excitement. “Y-Yes, that sounds reasonable..” He nods, and walks around muttering to himself. “You’ve got him in scheming mode, he’ll be like that for an hour or two.”
“You wanna’ practice martial arts with me?” She asks me quickly, taking me further by surprise than Dart had already done. “O-Oh, no-no I don’t think I could even get my legs above my chest.” I quickly and cautiously explain my complete and other lack of skill in anything that could be considered choreography. She grabs my leg and pulls it upward, stretching it way further than I had ever dared. “It’s definitely something to get started with.” After letting go of my leg, leaving me to hold it up like this, and just stare at it. She then proceeds to do something no humanoid creature should be able to do, and does a complete one-eighty split, with one foot in the air and well above her head, completely boasting her ability to both bend and balance. “Legs should not bend that way!” I exclaim, finally placing my foot on the ground, and taking a step back. “Oh, this is nothing! Watch this!” She says, making my eyes snap shut! “No-no, that’s quite alright, your previous display was impressive enough as is.” I calmly say to her at a steady pace, to convey the necessity of moving forward. “ALRIGHT~ I get it, you think it’s weird.” She says with a warm smile, simultaneously rolling her eyes. “Let’s start with the basics of Water style then.” she says, taking on a weird stance.
-√A-
Demi - “Alright, I got him right here. And he’s unconscious!”
“Haha! Great job!” Sirius shouts, as he slaps the surface of the Whale. “Can’t wait ta’bring’im’in! Thanks Demitallis!” Some fish swim up and lift the blue whale, carrying him away. “I’ll get back ta’ya’ on whether we get that telepathy skill out of him or not.” He finishes with a smile.
Demi - “Yeah, no problem, I had fun. He really did try to put up a struggle, but I guess he couldn’t understand how to escape me. Anyways, I have other things I need to be doing, there’s this crime lord I’ve been meaning to take on.”
He looks at me surprised for a moment, then swims closer. “Oh- Really.. What’s’is name?”
Demi - “Some guy named Pollux Bask, but that’s none of your concern I’m sure- Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, I probably shouldn’t be telling you about this…”
His expression contorts from surprise, to fear and worry. “Yer’ s-strong Demi, but’I’don’t’know if yer’ strong enough to take on THAT guy! He’s fought great lake elders, I think you should probably get’away while you still can.” Even Sirius is afraid of that guy.. He continues to try and persuade me to not throw away my life, but I’m not scared.
Demi - “Ha, if I couldn’t handle one measly crime lord, then I’d never beat Arigold. Don’t worry about me, it’s always been do or die in my case, I can handle it!”
I finish, leaving him speechless.
Demi - “‘Till we meet again Sirius.”
And with that, I’m gone with the wind. Sirius is left there just to watch me depart, unable to think of a way to respond to such awesomeness.
End of Chapter: 23√ACF “Souls ignited, Royal Crypt!”
Thank you for reading.
“THANK YOU!!!”
“Thank you, on behalf of Lady Stalatia.”
“Thank you. Yes.”
