CHAPTER 171 – NECROBLAZE DRAGON

LYSANDER FARADEISS

"That rainbow-colored eye... that's the Eye of Necross!" gasped the vampire queen Lancaster, her voice a mixture of fear and awe as she stared at the glowing emblem on my forehead.

The room instantly shifted into chaos as everyone braced themselves for a potential battle. The Dwarven Admiral General, a stout figure clad in armor that shimmered like steel, magically summoned a massive machine gun into his hands, its barrels humming ominously. The Head Priest of the Onis, draped in dark robes, conjured intricate magical circles that floated above his palms, glowing with an ethereal light. The Elven Elder, a tall and slender figure with eyes as sharp as a hawk's, pulled back the string of his enchanted bow, the arrow aimed directly at my heart.

Even the Daybreaker Squad, my once-allies, turned against me. Kate, her eyes blazing with determination, wielded her giant sword with the strength of a titan. Gaeun, her expression torn between duty and friendship, clutched her magic wand tightly, its tip flickering with raw energy. Charlotte, calm and composed as ever, aimed her sniper rifle with precision, her finger hovering near the trigger.

"What the heck are you doing, Lysander!?" Kate shouted, her voice echoing with disbelief and anger.

"Please, stop this at once," Gaeun pleaded, her voice trembling as she fought to maintain her composure.

Suddenly, a gunshot rang out, sharp and deafening. Charlotte had pulled the trigger, but her shot was intentionally off target, the bullet grazing past my head and slicing through a lock of my silver hair, which fluttered to the ground like a wisp of smoke.

"Release Hiraya at once," Charlotte demanded, her voice steely and unwavering. "I will not accept any more betrayal from you, Lysander."

I couldn't help but let out a chuckle, the tension in the air almost palpable. "Pffft!" I smirked, my lips curling into a mocking grin. "Hahahahahaha!"

My maniacal laughter reverberated throughout the chamber, the sound bouncing off the stone walls like a wild symphony of madness. Even Hiraya, cradled in my arms like a princess, looked up at me in shock, her eyes wide with disbelief at my sudden unhinging.

“You are in no position to negotiate, Charlotte,” I declared, my voice dripping with menace as I tightened my grip on Hiraya. “I hold the key to everything. I have Hiraya, and I can end you all with just a blink of an eye.” I flashed them a mischievous smile, my eyes glinting with a cold blue light that sent shivers down their spines.

“L-Lysander…” Hiraya whispered weakly, her voice barely audible as she used the last of her strength to reach up and gently touch my cheek. “W-Why…”

“This is to save you, my love,” I replied softly, gazing into her eyes with a mixture of affection and resolve. Then, with the gentlest touch, I pressed my index finger against her forehead, and she slipped into a deep, enchanted slumber.

“Lysander…” Meike, who had been watching from afar, murmured, her hands clutching her chest as she struggled with conflicting emotions.

I knelt down carefully and laid Hiraya on the ground, her breathing steady and peaceful. Rising to my full height, I turned to face my former allies, my rainbow-colored eye blazing with power and determination.

“This is a proclamation of war,” I announced, my voice echoing with authority and defiance. “I am no longer Lysander Faradeiss. My name is Necross, the Destroyer of Worlds, the Outsider, the Foreign God summoned by Arthurius Elkyria Neos. And I shall bring doom to each and every one of you.”

“That man has turned against us!” the Vampire Queen roared, her voice filled with fury and betrayal. “Defeat him and rescue Hiraya Misteltein!”

The vampire guards immediately unfurled their bat-like wings, their leathery membranes glistening in the dim light as they surged forward with predatory grace. The elven archers quickly took position, their keen eyes focused as they released a volley of arrows that whistled through the air with deadly precision. Meanwhile, the dwarven soldiers charged with a roar, brandishing magically-forged swords that shimmered with an otherworldly glow.

To complicate matters further, the oni shrine maidens chanted incantations, their voices rising in a haunting melody as they used alchemy to conjure a magical cage around me, cutting me off from Hiraya. It was a flawlessly executed attack, a coordinated assault that left me seemingly cornered, unable to evade or defend.

Yet, this was merely the beginning—the perfect opportunity to unveil my ultimate power as the Foreign God. With a calm resolve, I placed my hand over my chest, feeling the dark matter coalescing within my heart. "Activating Necross Pulse!" I declared, my voice echoing with raw energy.

In an instant, the entire castle of Guardian's Haven erupted in a cataclysmic explosion, unable to withstand the sheer magnitude of my transformation. Bricks and hollow blocks were sent hurtling through the air as I emerged, towering at a staggering thirty meters tall.

This form resembled my Trailblazer Dragon Form, but with a sinister twist. Instead of pure white, my scales were now encrusted with crystalline dark silver that shimmered like obsidian. I unfurled my massive crystal wings, releasing a torrent of blue flames that scorched the earth below. My long, spiky tail lashed out, wreaking havoc across the castle grounds, leaving trails of destruction in its wake.

The rainbow-colored eye on my forehead ignited with power, unleashing a Baryon Laser that pierced the heavens, instantly turning the atmosphere dark as if night had fallen.

This is the ultimate power that merges the might of the Dragon King with the dread force of the Outer God of the Undead. I am the Necroblaze Dragon.

Gently cradled in my left draconic hand is Hiraya, still unconscious, her chest rising and falling with soft breaths. I swore to protect her from any more harm, and I was relieved that I managed to keep her safe during my transformation. Her delicate form rested against my massive claws, untouched by the chaos around us.

The scene before me was one of utter devastation. Elves, dwarves, vampires, and onis lay scattered across the ruins of the castle, victims of my unstoppable power. Some were crushed beneath the debris, others caught in the explosive force of my transformation, and many more burned by the eternal blue flames that danced along my crystalline scales. It was a gruesome sight, a tableau of destruction and death. I was grateful that Hiraya remained unconscious, spared from witnessing the horrors I had unleashed.

Amidst the wreckage, I heard coughing and labored breathing. A few meters away, Kate was struggling to her feet, her armor dented and scorched. Charlotte was there too, remarkably still alive, supporting Gaeun as she tried to stand. Meike remained uninjured, her hands aglow with healing magic as she worked tirelessly to mend the wounds of those I had harmed.

"What the hell, Lysandeeeeeeer!" Kate shouted, her voice echoing with a mix of anger and disbelief. Her words washed over me, but I pretended not to hear, my resolve unshaken.

My attention shifted to the leaders of the factions—the Elven Elder, the Vampire Queen, the Oni Priest, and the Dwarven Admiral-General. Despite being at the epicenter of the explosion, they seemed to have sustained far fewer injuries than I had anticipated. Their resilience was impressive, their eyes filled with determination and defiance as they faced the monstrous form I had become.

“W-Why are you doing this?” the Elven Elder muttered, her voice tinged with pain as she cradled her dislocated elbow. Her eyes were filled with disbelief and betrayal. “I thought you were the savior of our race, Lysander Faradeiss. Hiraya put her trust in you. She even wanted me to officiate your wedding in the future. Why did you have to ruin all of this?”

“This is to save Hiraya,” I replied telepathically, my voice resonating within her mind like a haunting echo.

The Elven Elder’s eyes widened in shock, her confusion palpable as she struggled to comprehend my actions. The weight of her disbelief was heavy, a stark reminder of the path I had chosen.

I knew what I was doing was wrong. That was the whole point of this carnage. Just as Hiraya had intended in the Previous Timeline, I would become the symbol of despair, the scapegoat who bore the sins of the world. I would plead for neither mercy nor forgiveness.

All I wanted was to save Hiraya from physical, mental, and emotional harm.

That is why I have to play the bad guy. I am going to be the ultimate evil, the greater demon that will kill the devil.

“I will continue the Purge of Humanity,” I telepathically announced, my resolve unyielding. “And I shall purge everyone who dares to block my path.”

Gathering blue nuclear energy within my maw, I unleashed a torrent of silver-blue flames toward the leaders of the elves, onis, vampires, and dwarves. The flames roared with unimaginable fury, a cataclysmic wave of destruction that consumed everything in its path. In an instant, they were disintegrated, their forms vaporized into nothingness without even the chance to scream in agony.

It was a swift death for them, a mercy in the face of the devastation I had wrought.

And I shall extend the same luxury to my dear friends as well.

I turned my gaze toward them—Kate, Gaeun, Charlotte, and Meike. Their eyes were locked onto mine, filled with a tumultuous blend of despair, fear, and hatred. The weight of their emotions crashed over me, each gaze a silent accusation, a reminder of the bond we once shared.

My heart ached at the sight of them witnessing me like this. But it couldn’t be helped. I had chosen this path, and there was no turning back.

Gathering the energy once more, I felt the blue nuclear flame building within me, its heat pulsating through my being. I spoke to them telepathically, my words heavy with sorrow.

“I’m sorry… Kate… Gaeun… Charlotte… and Meike…”

Their faces were etched with shock and betrayal, each one a testament to the destruction I had caused—not just to the world, but to our friendship. This moment, fraught with the weight of my choices, hung between us like a dark cloud.
