CHAPTER 158 – ORDEAL OF THE ORACLE (R18+)
HIRAYA MISTELTEIN – PREVIOUS TIMELINE
I've been shrouded in darkness for what feels like an eternity. Time has lost all meaning, and I've long since lost track of the days, months, or even years that have passed.
“Please let me go!” I cried, my voice echoing in the oppressive silence.
Heavy chains bound me, sapping every ounce of my mana and leaving me utterly powerless. My magic, once a source of strength and protection, was now a distant memory, and even my physical strength had abandoned me. The thought of escape was a cruel illusion.
“I’m begging you, please… let me go…”
Rough, unseen hands roamed over my body with a sickening familiarity, violating every inch of me. My breasts, my navel, my armpits, my buttocks, and my womanhood – all were subject to their invasive touch. The agony of penetration was a constant torment, sometimes replaced by a twisted sense of pleasure, but more often by unbearable pain.
“Aaah! I’m sorry! Please forgive me already! I don’t want to be here! No! Stop!”
My pleas fell on deaf ears. I had been violated, I was being violated, and I knew I would continue to be violated. This was my fate, my torment, my unending nightmare. I am Hiraya Misteltein, and this is my hell.
Somebody is thrusting into me, the repeated invasions rendering my senses of pleasure numb and distant. No matter how many times I plead for mercy, my desperate prayers fall on deaf ears. While my womb is defiled by foreign objects, a familiar and chilling whisper reaches my left ear.
“This is my revenge against you, Reincarnation of Exceria.” It was Arthur’s voice, cold and filled with malice. “I will never forgive you for what you’ve done to me in the previous timelines.”
“Whatever I’ve done to you, I’m sorry, Arthur,” I sobbed, tears streaming from my blindfolded eyes. “Just please… stop this…”
“It’s not your fault, per se. It was Exceria’s fault,” Arthur continued, his tone unwavering. “She tried to kill me when I was in my mother’s womb. To protect myself, I had to bathe in the Curse of Time and suffer a fate worse than death—an eternal timeloop, where I must go back and forth, killing you over and over again just to survive.”
“I-I’m sorry if my past incarnation did those things… Just please, let me go already…” I cried out once more, my voice breaking with despair.
“No matter how many times you cry, I will never set you free.” Arthur gently caressed my face with his fingers, a mockery of tenderness. “I need to summon the Foreign God to break me out of this timeloop. I have been trying to impregnate you for the past three years, but your elven blood keeps you from bearing my children. It may take over a decade for you to give me my offspring.”
“Arthur…” I sobbed, the realization of my three-year imprisonment in this eternal darkness sinking deep into my soul. I had done nothing but endure endless violations, a prisoner to his twisted desires.
If you discover this tale on Amazon, be aware that it has been unlawfully taken from Royal Road. Please report it.
My invincibility, granted by the Mark of Vesryn, and my elven immortality rendered me immune to external factors that would have harmed or killed me. I had neither eaten nor drunk anything for three years. I was being punished eternally for sins I had no knowledge of committing.
“Come to think of it, my best friend had a crush on you. I feel bad for doing this to his crush, but it can’t be helped. We are sworn enemies, after all. If there is something you should blame, it is destiny. The timeline is always intact, and no matter how I try to change it, the events stay the same,” Arthur said, his voice devoid of remorse.
As I felt something burst inside my belly, Arthur removed the foreign object from my body. His footsteps echoed as he walked away, growing fainter with each step. He had finally left me alone in this eternal darkness and silence, a brief reprieve from the torment.
<><><>
I was jolted awake by a sudden tremor. At first, I thought it was an earthquake, but the rumble was quickly followed by the deafening sound of gunshots and cannon blasts. The air crackled with the sounds of lightning and the roar of flames. Judging from the frantic sound of footsteps and panicked shouts, the place where I was held captive was under siege.
Footsteps approached the door to my cell. It swung open, and I heard an unfamiliar voice speaking into a radio. “Supreme Leader, I have finally found the target.”
“Good. Our mission here is done. Prepare for extraction,” responded a familiar synthetic voice from the other side. I was certain it was Gazelle Lockwood’s voice.
The person stepped closer, and I heard the swish of a blade cutting through the air. My blindfold was sliced away, and I blinked, my eyes adjusting to the light after so long in darkness.
Before me stood a tall, dark, and handsome man with stark white hair. He wore a black uniform adorned with a flowing cape, and two long blue horns jutted from his forehead. His piercing crimson eyes marked him as a dragonoid, and his presence confirmed he was from the Neo Arcadian terrorist faction.
“W-Who are you?” I managed to rasp out, my voice weakened by years of captivity.
“Alris Vortigern,” the dragonoid replied calmly, his crimson eyes focused as he wielded a massive buster sword, effortlessly slicing through the chains that had shackled me for years.
My strength failed me, and I began to falter, but Alris swiftly caught me before I could collapse.
“T-Thanks…” I murmured gratefully, managing a weak smile at my rescuer.
“No problem. We need to get out of here, fast,” Alris replied urgently, lifting me effortlessly into his arms like a princess as we hurried out of the dungeon.
Dodging gunfire and weaving through bursts of magical spells, Alris navigated us towards a waiting VTOL aircraft manned by dragonoid terrorists. It was a surreal twist to be rescued by those I had once feared, but they were now my saviors.
Alris gently placed me on a makeshift bed inside the aircraft. Other dragonoids immediately covered me with warm blankets and fitted me with an oxygen mask, ensuring my comfort and safety.
“Package secured. Extraction complete. Let’s go now!” Alris commanded the dragonoid pilot, who swiftly lifted the aircraft into the air, leaving behind the chaos and darkness of my imprisonment.
The journey through the skies was swift, and for the first time in three years, I felt safe. I gazed into Alris's crimson eyes, which radiated compassion.
"Alris, right?" I asked softly.
"Yes," Alris nodded reassuringly. "You're safe now, Hiraya Misteltein. You don't need to worry. No one will ever touch you again."
"Thank you, Alris," I whispered gratefully.
With my weakened strength, I raised my hand. Alris gently grasped it, holding it firmly. It was the first time I had held a man's hand, and I felt a surge of electricity run through me. My heart raced so fast I feared it might burst. Was this love?
I saw Alris blush slightly, and I could sense our synchronized heartbeats. It was a strange sensation, yet it filled me with a comforting warmth.
After half an hour, the VTOL aircraft landed at the heart of Neo Arcadia's headquarters. It was a sprawling warehouse filled with military weapons—rifles, trucks, aircraft, and tanks lined the vast space. There, I was greeted by familiar faces who rushed towards me with tears of joy.
"Hiraya!" they cried out in unison, embracing me tightly.
It was Kate, Gaeun, and Charlotte.
