It was 2062, the year of the misery. World War 3 happened, a nuclear war which ended up making the earth inhabited. But luckily there were survivors. There was an organization called ‘Octagon Veranda’ situated on a lonely Island in the Atlantic Ocean. This organization of scientists were created mainly focusing on surviving the World War, which could have wiped out humans from Earth. So they were ready for every threat that could occur. The island was covered by a special Nano cover which was supposed to last 300 years and it’s a shield against radiation, bioweapons and chemical attacks. The island has all facilities with high technology. The communication system within the island was advanced and had no connection with outside to prevent AI attacks. It was protected in each and every possible way which is why humanity still lasts. It is 2140 now. Our little island is the only place humanity can survive on the earth but sadly it’s a small island. The population is rising. So now we have a lot more problems to survive than radiation. We are in a sinking Titanic without boats and it’s stuck in a radioactive world. Space is the only place we have left to go. We are working on that plan, a Space station. But still, this island is our plan A.  There are two parts of the island.Inside and outside. Simply heaven and hell on the same island. If you can get inside you are more than lucky. If you get to live outside, you better pray for death. Inside the island is the place where the Octagon Veranda, the main buildings and the city are situated. Octagon Veranda, we work on eight sectors that help humanity to survive. Each and every sector has a chancellor, together that’s the Octagon council. They rule both inside and outside but they care more for the inside, chosen people. So here it is the eight sectors and chancellors. Edward Sallow - Nanotechnology sector Kane Johnson   - Chemical sector      Kirstein Evens  -  Mechanicals and communication sector. Jessy Terco       - Environmental science, Biology and human studies sector Elsa Blake          -Medical sector. Bell Bostic          - Security, exploration and social work sector Penny Browns     - Hydrology and Farming Sector Jupiter Terco        -Astro sector Once every five years there is a vote to choose chancellors, only insiders get to vote. If you want to go inside. You have two options. Be born to be the only child of an insider or sit for the examination for entry. It doesn’t matter if you are an insider or an outsider. If you want to be a worker of Octagon Veranda, you need to take another entry exam. It’s too selective. Even though you made it through, you have to survive 4 years of training to get a degree, to be a scientist or a soldier. Unless you’ll end up as a normal worker but don’t forget still you are lucky to be inside. Outside, oh it’s almost looking like an undeveloped country that lasted before World War 3. Everyone is suffering from poverty, hunger, drugs and low medical facilities. It’s almost looking like a ruleless world. The people who are banished from Octagon Veranda for their crimes are the people working here, doctors, engineers, nurses, farmers, and soldiers.
