Years ago, No one thought magic existed. Most people worked their dead-end jobs, spent time with their families and enjoyed the predictability of their day to day lives. Behind closed doors of labs ran by government official's scientists worked day and night on creating portals dimensions. They would tell the press it wasn't possible, they worked went on and on to the press about Rocketship's, space and robots they are working on instead. It wasn't fully a lie, but it also wasn't the truth either.
They didn't work on theses portals for the betterment of science or to advance society or even to grasp knowledge.
They did this because they were scared. Scared of the unknown, Scared of magic. After the Salem Witch trials, Witch hunters never stopped to find witches. As the witch hunter generations went on and people grew smarter, more empathic instead of killing witches they decided to imprison them instead. They kept it from the public and large underground prisons were built and the genral public chalked up the Salem Witch trials too moldy bread making them see things that just weren't there, or they would say that little girls made up stories when they were bored. But some of this was true, little girls did add lies to their stories about theses witches. Fearful people eating moldy bread did throw their accusations to any one they didn't like. The only truthful part however was that witches existed. As time grew more and more modern witch hunters worked with government and as their prisons started to overgrow, they decided it was best if they could cast them out entirely to a different dimension. While scientists worked on this. There were government building with the sole purpose to watching satellites and cameras in towns and cities, shops and restaurants, really anywhere other than people's private homes. They would watch thermal temperatures of people because witches biology were made with more energy than humans and that's how they would find them to imprison them. Of course, it wasn't easy to abduct someone without their families searching for answers or their friends raising eyebrows. They would make replicas of these people and tell their families that they died of this or that. Sometimes they would get slopy and wouldn't make the replicas and It would be a missing person's case that never got solved, it however wasn't often.
Eventually they were successfully in creating a dimension for the witches and came somewhat clean to the public no longer imprisoning them. The witches that were already imprisoned were not allowed to contact their families or friends sent straight there. As expect people panic and chaos ruled the world for a little, It did eventually even out and things went back to normal as much is they could. Other than Police going into people's home and ripping the witches that lived there from their families once they found out. This new dimension is where some our story takes place.
“Intrusive ideas are like frostbite in the sun when it hits my tounge. it’s always late, belittled and bitter.
Unpredictable looks shift through eyes and out of facial expressions that are best met with laughter, honestly, it’s just short of disaster.
Your perceptions of me are poison apples
That I eat every day and they always get stuck in my throat. But even death won’t these touch lips.”
Aspen read to her friend Joseph.
The coffee shop was loud but the silence between them was heavy and still. Aspen bit her lip while she searched for something, anything in Joseph’s eyes. Joseph's bright blue eyes stared hard at his coffee. Aspen looked at the clock

10:15 p.m.
“Goodness aspen- “Joseph whispered
“Hey guys! Who died?” a mutual friend named Eden walk towards the table
“No one I’m just tired of aspen’s poems bout hating us all” Joseph said while looking everywhere but aspen.
Eden pulled a chair out and sat down.
“Your being dramatic Joseph, you should feel special to hear them, she’s also a grown women so don’t start telling her what to do...” Eden reassured then grinned at aspen.
“Is that so? I’m just worried. she’s also been talking about the forbidden spell and how she might take the risk of being beheaded just to pull it off! She’s been in our witch academy six month and she’s already trying to risk her life!” Joseph declared in a very irrational manner.
“I thought we were best friends Joseph. Can you stop being so harsh? I have good reasons!” Aspen defended herself.
Aspen grabbed her notebook and stomped off.
Whatever, what does he know about losing anyone, if he’s not careful he definitely will though.
Aspen thought to herself while hopping on to her broom and rode off into the cold misty night.
She arrived home after thirty shivering minutes, her home was like a mansion. She had a huge front porch that she decorated in various house plants. Her feet started to get wet, even through her shoes due to the dew that clung to the grass as she walked towards her home.
I’m so silly for even thinking I could tell Joseph anything, he’s right.
Where would I even find the spell? It’s been banned and all i know is the name
As above so below
Aspen got lost in such deep thought it took her minutes to notice that she started floating. Aspen sighed as her feet finally touch the wood of her front porch. She looked off into the tree line which the only thing that separated her from her neighbor house that was a good way away. It was her only neighbor.
Aspen was hooked watching her neighbor's curves move into the moonlight, it didn’t matter to aspen what her neighbor could’ve been doing as long as she could watch her for a moment, she had never seen another girl with such a body. Aspens juices started slowing running down her legs. She bites her lip and her fingers dance under her panties.

Thump, Thump
Aspen panics as she hears her roommate's footsteps come down the stairs
She quickly sits on her porch swing.
The screen door fly's open
“Oh, it’s just you.” John says with a sigh of relief.
Aspen smiles while her cheeks turned red as tomatoes and the rest of her face becoming flushed. She held her notebooks while pretending to be semi normal.
“Still in uniform I see, don’t you get tired of wearing skirts?” He says while holding back a yawn
“Don’t be jealous you're not magical John” she says then giggles.
John shrugged his shoulders and whispers “goodnight” while heading back inside.
As soon as the door closes, she sinks into the swing.
Best to just call it a night at this point
She thinks while trying to pick up whatever dignity she had left before heading to bed. Aspen did feel guilty about not really enjoying her new world. She had friends, amazing house and nice clothes. There was plenty of spells and potions to learn and the landscape and architecture of this world is truly magnificent. the transition to her new world was difficult. A new school, a new way of living. But what sadden her the most is the absence of her family, which she hoped was temporary. The witch world was completely different from the human world. She had to shift her ways of living and remember all the new laws, which were harsh and cold, and the punishments were even worse. pursuing bringing back her family and being reunited with them seemed like a death sentence. Aspen was all about fairness and justice when it came to rules or law. This place lacked both. The only thing she really looked forward to is exploring her newfound magic and powers at her academy. She didn't know what she was capable of as a witch and wanted to her advance herself before doing anything major to avoid careless mistakes.
Aspen checked to make sure she had all of her stuff and headed off to bed.
