I have been pleased with the imagery I have commissioned. However, it feels incomplete for me to be seeing these in full resolution while everyone else just sees them sampled down so they fit on a web page. So for those who might be extra curious, Here are raw links to the images.

For any spread-heads, I have decided to also share the spreadsheet I use to keep track of characters. Well, as of this writing, it only has Forrest, but I expect to add “sheets” (layers) for other important characters as they pass Level 0. It will continue to be a “work in progress”.

Tuesday’s Wildcard Characters
© 2022, 2023 by Richard Franzen. Should you find its mechanics to be useful for your story or game, you have my permission to use it even with alterations. I only ask that you credit me as the originator. Also, if you wish to use the characters themselves, please ask first.
The link is to a read-only version of the spreadsheet on Google Docs. I am not a spreadsheet expert, so if you happen to be, it might look amateurish. That’s fine. If you have any questions, suggestions or comments, I would be happy to discuss them with you below. Also, you have download permission, so if you wish to fully interact with it, you can get a copy that you can make alterations to locally.
Note: time is tracked on the galactic calendar, with days specified as “15.201”. That would be the 201st galactic day of NIS galactic year 15. I have a separate spreadsheet which includes cross-referencing with Heere dates (almost 2 Heere years for each NIS year, and 6 NIS days per 7 Heere ones). I’m not sharing that sheet because it is full of spoilers.
The last file I am linking today is the one where I keep track of skills, information beyond what the story includes. The skill information in BC.02 (Analyze) and BC.03 (Meditation) came from this file. (Those two skills are better formatted than the rest; I cleaned them up for incorporation in the story.) Rather than keeping track of when those chapters might need updating, I’ll just link the source file here. It will automatically remain updated.
TW - Powers
The file is getting pretty long, and that is only with a few of Forrest’s class skills described. I may eventually break it up with one class per file. This one would then only include the general info and common and learned skills. For now you’ll have to do what I do – scroll a lot. 😮

1 I didn’t dislike ylamae’s first pass, but it was significantly different than what I asked for. The clock was much bigger to the point of predominating. And why the heck was there a wolf’s face peering back at Forrest? (ylamae said the AI did that on its own.) Why were there several white dots on the right side of the clock? Also, the two clock controls were much more prominent than I wanted. I’m glad they are little dots in the final image, because I discarded the idea of Jacques having some control of the rate of time in the void (defaulting to 60x normal). If you do notice the 2 controls in the final cover, think of the second one as an analog/digital display control. With where I am now in the story, something like this could have worked well. Instead of the wolf’s face on the clock, it could have been Jacques’ face, maybe wearing a fireman’s hat.
