Arriving in a state of the art private training facility, Yun was greeted by the head butler with Jose and Emilia tagging along.

"Master Yun, I've brought them."

The shirtless Yun who's drenched in sweat then turned around to greet them. "There you are, both of you. Come, let's train."

Emilia then replied with a confused look. "Train? Already?"

"Yes, we need to hone our skills. Especially you, Jose. If you want to get back your brother, we must train… Nice outfit, by the way."

"But I never learned these skills to fight. This is simply for self-defense..."

"If you're not going to hone your skills, you'll be outmatched. Especially by your brother. If he's planning revenge, he's most likely improving himself everyday. If he's somewhat even at your level or worse, better than you—which he most likely is since you require my assistance—then if he's honing his skills seriously at this very moment, even I might have to go all out to beat him."

Not having anything to say, Jose simply stood there.

"This should be fun..." Yun smiled. As soon as the door behind the old man closes, Yun immediately closed the instance in a single instance.

"Your fight against Zero…" He stabbed forward which Jose hastily parried and tried kicking him, but Yun just hopped away. "You were using daggers, which means you've acquired Emilia after that. But I can see now that you have some knowledge of using a sword. But while it might be adequate, that is nowhere near enough…"

Yun rushed forward once again even faster this time. Becoming merely a blur in Jose's vision.

"So fast…!" Jose hastily blocked the slash but the resulting force of the impact left his hand and fingers numb. "I need strength…" He immediately activated two dashes on his shoulder to amplify his strength by tenfold and began to be more competent in blocking Yun's unrelenting offense.

"Is blocking all you could do?!"

Jose tightened his grip before unleashing a massive upward slash at Yun. The speed at which it travelled made the air whistle as Yun dodged it.

"There we go!" Yun laughed.

With both sides on the offensive, they began clashing and exchanging hits.

Yun then imbued lighting to his weapon and to himself as he rushed forward. Jose felt the air vibrate just as his opponent instantly closes the distance once again.

"He uses lightning too…?!" He hastily blocked Yun's attack but the lightning from the latter's sword transferred to Emilia and shocked him when they clashed. Due to the sudden pain and being caught off-guard, he was too late to react as Yun spun with a slide of his heel and kicked him on the chest with the other.

"Oh no!"

He gritted his teeth as he flew and immediately activated both vertical lines on his eyes. "What strength…!" He muttered.

"What is that?" Yun muttered, noticing the changes around Jose's eyes. He then pointed his Jian towards the latter. "Come on! You can heal, right?"

Jose struggled a little to get up, catching his breath and finally took up a stance as he slowly exhaled. "Please, I wish to improve."

Yun smiled in affirmation. "Of course. Show me everything, don't be afraid of trying to kill me. Also, don't be afraid of destroying this place either, even I can't destroy it in my full power."

This time, Jose took the initiative and he rushed forward. Taking large steps as he did so. "He's just like Zero, but he was all about using brute force. Yun on the other hand…"

After getting onto the appropriate distance, he swung three consecutive times in a swift motion but Yun managed to rather easily parry each one with minimal movement. "That's not enough!" The latter then began his offensive too, quickly drawing Jose's blood with swift swings.

"Such a level of technique, this kind of skill… It's like my training with Grandpa, it's like I'm fighting an expert with decades of experience!"

As Jose racked his brains while exchanging hits, he stealthily aimed his left palm towards the opponent's abdomen and fired dozens of small metal rods.

However, Yun intensified the lightning around his body and managed to repel the rods. "You're full of surprises." Yun then threw him off-balance by pushing his sword away during a clash with his own weapon, and using his free hand, he grabbed Jose by the back of his head and slammed it onto his right knee.

Jose reeled back in pain of a broken nose and Yun was about to follow up with a spinning back kick, but Emilia went back to her humanoid form and blocked it with both of her hands.

But since Yun was amplified by lightning, its speed was overwhelming, sending both of them crashing towards a wall at the end of the training facility, caving in said wall a little.

"I told you two, take this seriously. Come at me with the intent to kill. We've only met for a day, don't tell me that you no longer see me as a stranger?"

As the two fell onto the floor after briefly sticking onto the wall, they both spat blood with the two of them having a unified thought.

"Jose…" Emilia wanted to help him up by placing her hand around his shoulder but he reassured her and urged her to stop with a gesture.

"I'm fine, thank you." He began standing up on his own, struggling, and as he was finally on his feet, he turned to his companion. "Emilia… He's better than Andres… if it's him, I think I can indeed bring my brother back."

"Was that so…? What are we going to do now?"

With a melancholic expression, Jose answered. "I will give everything to improve... Will you please lend me a hand?"

"Of course! We're in a contract anyway, I can't refuse you. It's not like I will if given the choice to… I'll always be there for my wielder!"

"Thank you…"

Jose extended a hand which Emilia promptly shook.

"You'll use that, right?"

"Yes." Jose smiled slightly as he whispered. "Ego Union."

As Emilia turned into a bright light that filled the entire facility, a massive wave of energy emitted all around them, making the air tremble as it was being pushed around them.

"This is exactly what I'm waiting for, for you to use Union…"

Emilia turned into the exact same sword as before but this time, there was a constant wave of golden energy surrounding her. Even Jose's entire body was faintly coated in this same kind of energy, forming some kind of golden outline around his figure.

However, despite this power seemingly being an extremely rare ability that to the two's knowledge only Emilia could do, Yun strangely uttered its name with his eyes widened paired with a bewildered expression.
