With a dissatisfied tone, the Moderator spoke while still atop the tree branch. "I thought I had made myself clear that killing is strictly prohibited? Yet you still tried to do it…"
Grasping her chest as she was feeling difficult to breath, Bloodletter replied. "I apologize, Moderator, I was simply carried away."
"Hmm… Whatever, here." He tossed a Key of Ascension towards her which she hurriedly caught. Its light then dissipating throughout her body.
"Get the hell out of here and bring your guy away, come back here or any other trial sites after its next commencement next week to retake the trial."
"Yes, sir…!"
He then sent a healing light towards the two of them just as he did to the previous trial takers. Rejuvenating them, but their bodies still ache from the battle that had happened.
The two immediately approached Rumi as soon as the barrier was lifted and they helped her get up as she's still feeling weak, taking her away from the platform and resting her beside a tree.
"Sorry, guys… I lost…" Her head drooped in shame.
"Nah, don't be sorry. She's a pretty strong NPC, after all." Yuuki replied.
"Yeah… I'm not really that good enough yet."
"That's fine, you still have room for improvement."
"But how about it? I'll need to wait 7 in-game days for the next trial..."
Yohan then answered, "Then we'll wait. We both now had the Key to go up to floor 2, though..."
"Okay, you guys wait for me up there." Rumi smiled
"No, I'll be staying with you here. Yuuki will go up first."
"Eh?! Me…? Alone?!"
"Yeah, why? I'll help Rumi train here, maybe help her learn other elements while we're at it, improve her mana control, whatever that can help her. In the meantime, you go up, survey the place up there, so that it'll be easier for the two of us when we got up there."
Yuuki sighed, "Fine, fine… You sure? You'll miss out on the events up there."
"It's fine, I promise, Rumi will be a lot stronger when we meet up there again. And you're an idiot, you can go down here anytime, anyway, so what's the fuss?"
Yuuki chuckled, "Right, right… So… do I go now?"
"It's almost morning. Let's go somewhere else to log out first and let's continue later after school."

"Oh, yeah, sure."
The game's clock is double that of the real world. Allowing those with real-world responsibilities to still grind in the game and not feel constrained as if their time on hand is very tight.
"Maybe we should go to a Green Zone first, guys. So that I can go up, then I'll log out from there."
"Sure, that's okay, we still have time."
"'Kay, 'kay."
After letting Rumi regain her strength and rest a little, they started walking back to Geneda City and after some time later, they arrived there.
As they entered the city with the sun setting, Yuuki spoke casually. "So… I'll go to floor 2 now?"
"Yeah, sure, let's see each other later."
"Okay…" Yuuki then pressed his interface a few times and clicked on [Ascend Stairs] when it popped up.
[Floors Unlocked: 1, 2]
He clicked number two and a confirmation window showed up, [Transfer to Floor 2?] "Yes!"
He waved slightly to the as his body transformed into blue pixels and his surroundings changes into that of a forest.
Looking around his surroundings. He noticed he's pretty near from a settlement or a Green Zone as he can see the city walls beyond the tree lines.
He walked there for a few minutes and finally arrived on the Gray Zone outside of it.
"Haaah… This should be okay, I can log out from here."
He pressed [Log out] a second later and his body disintegrated into blue pixels once again.
When he heard a creaking sound, he tried opening his eyes and saw the ray of sunlight shining down on his face. Getting up slowly, he began stretching his body as his bones pops with a smile on his face, feeling rejuvenated from waking up and full of vigor. "All right…!"
The game capsules allows a person to sleep and rest physically and somewhat mentally while sending their consciousness to the virtual world and through some pretty advanced technological achievements, these gaming capsules are made which reinvented gaming forever, discarding computer, console, and mobile gaming almost entirely.
He squinted his eyes first while sitting down for a few moments, allowing it to adjust to the incoming light before finally taking slow steps. He do not want to be tripped by a wire anymore like yesterday.
"Careful…"
He immediately headed to his closet to get his uniform before heading to the bathroom. This is how his morning routine have always been whenever there is a school day, and if not, he'll spend the entire day gaming while occasionally logging out for each meals or toilet breaks.
During the bath, he took his time to absorb the events that had happened. In just a day in the game, so much had happened and the game feels much livelier than in Eternal World due to the different kinds of NPCs which is a total upgrade of the AI system from before.
Sighing with a half saddened and half annoyed expression, Yuuki just stared at the floor as the water pours on him. "Haaahhh… So much happened…! Heh, this is way too fun... Ugh... I just hope I wouldn't need to go to school anymore so I can play all day…!"
He finished later on and finally got out of the bathroom, then into the living room with the school uniform worn.
"Miri! Can you please prepare a breakfast for me?" He called out.
Moments later, Miri's hologram began to assemble and appeared in an instant. "Sure! Master Yuuki."
She began cooking immediately as Yuuki waits for a few minutes while browsing the [Forums] of the game.
He noticed threads regarding the floor 2 which he curiously read and watched some videos on it. He also saw some other info from the few players that had managed to get up there in the first day.
"Damn... Floor 2 seems fun."
"Master Yuuki?"
He looked back as soon as he was called. "Yes?"
"Food's ready." She smiled happily as she brought the food to the marble table.
"Oh, thanks!" He gladly replied as he digs in on the deliciously served breakfast. "Thanks for the food!"
He finished later and finally left their home, ready to go on with his day at school again.
