Clarice and Bert were waiting for their son.
The last week they barely gave their son any sleep and went over everything they knew as [Farmer]'s.
Surely Oliver would be able to get the [Farmer] class, but it could not hurt to help his chances by giving him his favorite hoe.
With the higher then normal traffic Bert was able to slip the hoe to his son without desturbing the class. After waving goodby he joined the line out of the village again. When he looked back to his wife was talking to a young boy.
"The teacher wants us to unlock our class tonight and we have to spend the day with an advanced user of the class" David said.
Happy to be able to pay back a little to his parents, I invited him to the front of the cart. Maybe giving Oliver an extra pair of hands would not be bad either.

Stuck in the unusually slow traffic towards the village exit there was plenty of time to talk about farming.
But with David starting to look around I start to question my choise of topic.
Maybe higher agreculture sustained by crop rotation and pollination by entomophily, ornithophily and zoophily are a bit much for the first day?
Changing my tone of voice I manage to grab his attention again.
> Not all farming has to be as advanced, in fact it's best to start off your class with something simple.
>
> Most of nature would grow without our help, we can just let it grow and swoop in to harvest the bounty. A little bit of help can't hurt, but it isn't really required.
>
> I know you know where all the best berry bushes's are.
> And you also managed to find your way into quite a few of the fruit trees around town.
>
> This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
>
> But fungi are probably the best example, even ants, beetles, and termites heve been known to farm them.
> The [Attini] ants grow giant fungi structures out in their nests, tending them and farming them.
> They actually throw leaves and other organic material at them so they grow faster.
Standing still at the checkpoint out of town, and midway my musings about lower agriculture I stop and stare at the wall.
----------------------------------------
A stone thrown over the wall made everyone go silent.
It's not about the stone, neither about the rope attatched to it.
Not even about the rope obviously being made out of bark fiber instead of hemp.
It's about the place where the rope goes over the wall.
Or more spicifically the long green ears that are poking over the wall at the end of the rope.
2 men in red robes are the first to arrive. When the youngest started to throw small balls of fire that burned the rope it became clear to me who it was.
Covering David's ears I watch the old man propel himself onto the wall in a trail of fire and smoke. Even after jumping over the wall I can still hear the old redhead curse over the explotions.
After a minute I could finally stop protecting the young boy's ears. Sure there were still some bright flashes, smoke and explotions. But at least I could no longer hear any cursing.
At least with him stirring things up out there,
we don't have to worry about our safety on the way to the farm.

David was watching Amilia's grandfather in awe.
It stuck him that he could not quite tell wich was the more impressive feat.
Making the entire sky turn orange, or making the busy road silent and blush from banter.
He was not alone, the [Pyromanic] has gatherded quite the audience.
Even the captain of the guard was silent when he arived.
As the captain turned around to leave his eyes fell on me.
Dragging Bert to a corner with a poster of a small gray monster, he started quite the heated conversation while looking in my drection.
I could only make out part of the conversation.
"shapeshiter", "unlock class", "in dungeon'
I could clearly see this would not go anywhere good and dit not want to stick around.
Blending in the crowd I turn around make a run for it.
The captain's shout "Shapeshifter, shoot to kill!" made me turn around.
I came face to face with someone getting riddelded by arrows.
There really was a shapeshifter, that boy looks just like me!!!
