Zerglings and hydralisks charged toward the dark templer.
An elite zergling was sliced apart with absolute ease. Zeratul’s cloaking was easily detected by Jean’s psi energy and was made useless. Still Zeratul showed his enemies the strength of an old warrior with centuries of experience in combat.
The zerglings present were the strongest zerglings possible. The adrenal gland and metabolic boost upgrades made the zerglings extremely fast. The enhanced carapace and enhanced claws made the zerglings much tougher to kill...and yet these upgrades only meant the zerglings would run quicker into their death. The carapace did nothing as Zeratul easily one shotted every zergling that got close to him.
Slicing his way through another half a dozen zerglings in merely seconds, Zeratul found himself facing the projectiles of elite hydralisks.
Spines pierced through the air, but somehow Zeratul, with the help of plasma shields, blinks, and quick movement, dodged all the hits. All the while he was dropping zerglings like it was nothing.
Another zergling leaped toward the dark templar and got sliced apart into two bloody pieces. But the next second a spine pierced through with the cover of the dead zergling and smashed into Zeratul’s shield. Zeratul didn’t reflect in time and took the hit. The spine was deflected by the plasma shield, but the shield blinked heavily. The plasma shields dark templar carried were more mobile and weaker than that of zealots and high templars.
Zeratul looked at Jean, who tilted her head provokingly. It would be cute, except Jean’s entire body was covered by menacing zerg carapace and her hands were in the form of sharp blades.
As Zeratul was looking at Jean, the hydralisks unleashed another wave of spines. The seemingly unsuspecting dark templar jumped into the air and dodged all the attacks. The hydralisks turned up to the templar in the air and opened fire. Zeratul was unable to dodge in the air.
But just before the spines hit the dark templar, a wave of smoke consumed Zeratul. Spines went through the cloud without any delay and hit the wall of the leviathan.
Jean looked around in confusion. Suddenly she leaned forward and reached her hands out. A hydralisks was lifted into the air and moved behind Jean. Jean held the hydralisk there. Nothing was behind Jean, but something cut through the body of the hydralisk.
Dropping the hydralisk, Jean turned around to face Zeratul.
“Impressive skills, but I don’t have time for this.”
Zeratul frowned. There was no way out for the girl, and yet Jean wasn’t someone that would issue empty threats. He readied his blade and walked slowly to Jean.
Jean kept her eyes trained on Zeratul but held out her left hand facing the wall of the leviathan. A powerful psi energy converged, formed a powerful kenetic blast, and smashed into the wall. The inner layer of the leviathan was ripped open.
Jean casually ordered the hydralisks and zerglings that survived the previous battle to perform a suicidal charge upon the dark templar before she turned and jumped out of the opening.
There was no air resistance in space, which meant Jean could technically go on forever if she didn’t hit anything. The deadly radiation, lack of oxygen, and freezing cold were brushed off by Jean’s mutated body.
The space seemed deep and dark, but Jean had no intention of admiring the beauty of nature. She controlled a mutalisk and ordered it to fly to her. As soon as the flying unit was near, she grabbed onto its body and ordered it to fly away.

Kerrigan was taken by surprise, and it took her a few seconds to react. A flock of mutalisks mobilized and moved toward Jean. Unfortunately they were a few seconds to slow, and the few seconds made all the difference as Jean fled to a direction opposite of the Golden Armada.
“Hunt her down.” Kerrigan ordered concisely before returning her attention to the protoss fleet. A potential threat like Jean no longer deserved her attention in this intense moment. She had a battle to win. “Prepare for an attack.”
Jean didn’t know what happened as the Golden Armada engaged the swarm, and she didn’t care. As long as the swarm held the majority of the Golden Armada here then her plan would work. A glave wurm slid past her face and left a bloody scar there, but the scar immediately healed. Jean turned around and looked at the mutalisks. They were already far away from the touch of the swarm, which meant anything that happened here would stay here, which meant Jean could use some of her stranger methods…
Jean tapped her watch, and all of a sudden a giant mechanical beast appeared out of nowhere.
“Commander, Beetle reporting.” A familiar voice appeared in the earpiece Jean took out of her watch and put onto her right ear.
“Terminate all mutalisks and open the hanger.” Jean ordered cooly before grabbing onto the neck of the mutalisk she controlled and ripped it open. As the body trailed off into a distance she took out a viking and put around her.
The Gorgon opened fire on the mutalisks with its laser batteries. The mutalisks didn’t stand a chance as they desperately fired on the Gorgon and were slaughtered to the last. Their glave wurms did little to the heavily armed Gorgon.
Meanwhile Jean entered the hanger of the Beetle through the viking. The battlecruiser hadn’t aged a day since she put it into the watch. A brief check of the ship’s log showed that apparently she had just put the ship away a second before she took it out.
So items in the watch didn’t experience time...Jean silently made a note to herself before proceeding to business.
“Jump to Deadman’s Port. Beetle, create a logic string.” Jean sat down in the bridge and closed her eyes, thinking. A logic string was a thinking method she created. “My objective is to defeat Amon.”
“How?” The Beetle asked, doing its best to help Jean think as the ship entered warp space.
“Cut off its claws. Destroy all potential forces that will aid Amon. The swarm, check. The hybrids, check. Moebius Foundation, check. Golden Armada, not checked.”
“How to defeat the Golden Armada?”
“Utilize the swarm. Drag the Golden Armada into an endless pursuit. No, this plan failed. Kerrigan lost her patience. The swarm is in a frontal engagement with the Golden Armada. The swarm will lose.”
“What is the backup plan?”
“Assault Shakurus and destroy all protoss civilization. Wipe out all of the potential reinforcements of the Golden Armada. Make the Daeleem fleet a rootless, supportless army. Use endless conflict and engagements to take it down. When all opposition are gone, move into the void and destroy Amon.”
“Shakurus will be guarded. Artanis is a wise commander. He will not leave his homeworld in danger.” The Beetle AI replied as he pulled up the information on Artanis and Shakurus, information that Jean entered into the Warden system based on the knowledge she received.
“I will need a fleet. Mercenary fleet is too small. Nyon needs time to control the Death Fleet. The Dominion Fleet...That’s it. I wil use the Dominion Fleet against the Daeleem.”
“How will you convince Mengsk to act? Attacking a powerful alien race is a dangerous move. Mengsk will need reasons.”
“Mengsk is not afraid to attack the protoss. This can be seen when he attacked the protoss on Tarsonis because the protoss were cleansing the zerg. Defeating the protoss will make Mengsk a hero. It will gain loyalty and fame for the emperor.”
“What if that fails?”
“I will promise Mengsk to destroy the other terran governments, including the Kel-Morian Combine and the Umojan Protectorate, if he decided to stand by me. It will act both as a reward and as a warning. If Mengsk still refuses to act, I will threaten to destroy the Terran Dominion. All of these destructions will be carried out by my hacking skills. Unleash nukes. Control AIs. With my enhanced mind and the help of AIs programmed for hacking I can easily hack into other terran devices. Beetle, open a transmission to Arcturus Mengsk.”
“Yes commander.”
