The signal was launched causing the 100,000 cultivators to charge towards the capital. The sound of screaming and cries could be heard throughout the capital as everyone was a slaughter. Smoke could be seen as the housing district was set on fire and blood began to flow through the street.
At the west gate the hydra clan was countering attacking but since the Crow Clan abandon their order it seemed pointless as the city was already burning. Seeing that defending here was not worth it many hydra and rogue cultivators began to flee but Zhao was still battling looking for the Silver hair boy.
“Die,”
A cultivator swung his sword at Zhao only to meet his end with a finger between the eyes. Many who see this decided to go around him as they weren’t a match for him.
The longer Zhao fought the more he didn’t see his target causing his anger to soar to the extreme. The more his anger rises the more golden core cultivator fell by his hand.
“Little silver hair bastard where are you,” He shouted with Qi in his voice causing dizziness to the cultivator around him.
In the sky distance away from the West wall the silver-haired boy who being cursed at was watching Zhao rampage around looking for him. Lucifer was hanging back with Luna and Sia waiting for the expert who broke through not long ago.
“Should we really being hanging back here,” Sia asked watching her kingdom fall down.
“Once that man recovers then we move but before then it be mostly waste of time,” Lucifer said.
“Are you having conflicted since this was your home,” Luna asked Sia with a concerned voice.
“Most of my memories of this place of this place are bad aren’t worth keeping so it doesn’t bother me what happens to it,” Sia said but sadness could be seen in her eyes as she said this.
Few hours went since the start of the battle which should have been a quick win but the resistance was stronger than what they first thought but wouldn’t change the ending. Suddenly a large bang sounded as building collapse and a figure appeared.
A group of cultivators charged at the figure only to meet their end as he simply looked at them.
“It an infant soul expert,”
“Retreat,”
Screams of the cultivator could be heard as they began running in a different direction before they fell to the ground never to rise again.

“So, this is an infant soul Cultivator,” Luna said as the figure was raging across the battlefield.
“Well it is an infant soul cultivator and at the same time it not,” Lucifer said as he noticed something off about the cultivator.
“What do you mean,” Luna asked.
“He more like half infant Soul Cultivator and half dead,” Lucifer said.
“Half dead?” Sia asked.
“Since he forceful broke through his soul took some damage and by the way he moving I estimate he has around few days left if he stops his rampage,” Lucifer said causing shock to run through their mind.
The rampaging cultivator looked like an old man with burnt skin and red eyes. As he scans the field his eyes catch sight of a silver haired boy.
“Boy you're going to pay for killing my son,” the infant soul cultivator shouted as he charges toward Lucifer.
“He seems to have a problem with you Lucifer,” Sia asked.
“Your right but when did I kill his son,” Lucifer said.
Zhao who notice the boy flying in the air put on his grin and started rushing over to him.
“Lucifer you seem to have many enemies here,” Sia said seeing Zhao rushing over also.
“Well maybe they would take each other out,” Luna said.
The infant soul cultivator approached when Zhao suddenly appeared in front of him.
“Out of my way,” He said before Zhao suddenly loss half his body.
“Wow I guess correctly,” Luna said.
“Should we be worried that he approaching quickly,” Sia said.
“I got this,” Lucifer said as most his body suddenly transformed. Black scales began to appear over Lucifer body and his figure began to fade.
Lucifer reached out his hand that covered in the scales and small beams with a white tint shot out. The beam shot straight forward aim at the infant cultivator.
“Weak,” He shouted as he slashed at Lucifer attack.
When he made contact with Lucifer attack he suddenly felt something wrong with it and flashed sideways only to see his arm covered in deep cuts.
“Tsk, he dodged,” Lucifer said.
“How dare you wound me Linkwill,” He shouted.
“Where did I hear that name before,” Luna said.
“He was the emperor five thousand years ago but suddenly retired to pursue the martial arts,” Sia said.
“Ah, how is he still living Origin Cultivator only live five thousand years,” Luna said.
“He must have relied on pills to extend his life. That must be why he failed the heaven Tribulation,” Lucifer said.
“You're going to pay for this,” LinkwIll shouted as his arm began to regenerate.
“Does villain all have the same lines,” Lucifer asked.
“You’re the villain for killing my son,” He shouted.
“It his fault for… Who was your son?” Lucifer asked which infuriated Linkwill even more.
“He was John who you killed a week ago above the capital.” He said.
“Ahh, did I do something like that?” Lucifer said looking at Luna and Sia who just shrug not knowing either.
“He was the guard captain who was capturing the cultivator,” He said causing Lucifer to connect the dots.
“That was him… I don’t remember. It like trying to remember what you ate a few days ago,” Lucifer said with shrug of indifferent.
“Your going…to pay…for this,” Linkwill said between heavy breathing.
“Are you sure you seem to be on your last stand,” Lucifer said.
“Grr,” Linkwill growl before he begins to fall.
Linkwill fell to the ground with a breath left in his body as his soul dispersed into the atmosphere. Looking at the dead man Lucifer just grumbled as he wants to fight but it seems it not happening.
In the distance, the signal to withdraw was spotted as the emperor is dead. The news of the capital began to spread causing many of the other capital to release the one they captured and hand over the treasure to please them.
The Sects after receiving the offers decided not to pursue the matter and the matter slowly began to be forgotten.
