The moon was high in the sky and the red light district of the city was full of activity. The Drunks wanders and escorts waved but up in the sky stood a boy and old man looking down.

“Tonight should be the night he attacks,” The boy said.

“How can you be sure he will attack tonight; besides you been saying it for the last few days,” The old man said.

Shaking his head at the boy logic the old man sighed. The two in the sky were Lucifer and Old Moon waiting for ‘Flower Killer’ to make his move and be at it for the last two days. During the day the two would slay sea demon beasts while at night search for ‘Flower Killer’.

Soon a few more hours have passed and the sun could be seen rising in the distances. The two were about to call it a night when they heard a high pitch scream. The two rushed in the direction only to see a hand through her chest.

When the girl lifelessly fell to the ground it revealed a man. The man had a hunch back with clumps of hair attached to his head. His face looked even worst as it was misshape as one of his eyes was higher than the other and his nose has giant warts on it.

Seeing a boy and a old man arrive the man revealed a rotten smile and missing teeth. Suddenly cracking could be heard from the man body as his appearance began to change. His back began to straighten out and his hair began to rapidly grow. By the time the crackling sounds ended the ugly man was no more but instead a fairly handsome man remained.

“A Demonic Cultivator,” Od Moon said.

“By the looks of it he seems to be at his end,” Lucifer said.

“What are you two discussing,” The man said.

“Nothing just that you going to die soon,” Lucifer said.

“It looks he going to try and pass the heavenly tribulation in the middle of a city,” Old Moon said looking at the sky.

“It seems he insane,” Lucifer said.

“I’m going to become immortal and no one can stop me,” the man evil laugh as the first lightning bolt struck him.

“Puff~,” The man spat out blood.

Not waiting for the man to rest the second bolt came crashing down causing the man to spit even more and burn marks showed up. Seeing the man Lucifer and Moon just looked indifferent as it didn’t matter if the man passed or not. Soon the third bolt crashed down causing the man to kneel on the ground as he didn’t have the strength to stand. Not long after the fourth and fifth bolt struck down in less than five seconds causing the man looks like a burnt corpse but barely alive. The final bolt came crashing down but the man refused to die and barely had a breath left as he passed.

“He actually passed without preparing protection charms,’ Lucifer praised as he walks over to the man.

“Haha I’m immortal now,” The man said in no louder than a whisper.

“Good for you but I let you on a little secret even if your body is immortal you soul still mortal,” Lucifer said.

“What are you planning to do,” The man seemed terrified as he was planning to use his new power to escape but discover he couldn’t move a muscle.

“You don’t need to worry it going to be painless,” Lucifer said as his figure began to become blurry. Lucifer began to transform into the primordial beast that eats souls- The Soul Reaper.

Lucifer reached down and his hand slowly entered the man body and grab his soul. The moment Lucifer hand left the man body a small purple flame appeared. Seeing the soul Old Moon felt terrified and made a note not to anger Lucifer.

“What are you going to do with his soul,” Old Moon said.

“Eat it as it going to boost my cultivation up to the peak of Xiantian realm,” Lucifer said as he opens his mouth to show rows of sharp teeth and darkness. When he swallowed the soul Lucifer cultivation skyrocket and stop at the peak of xiantian realm and he could be considered half a step in Golden Core Realm.

“Your only around nine and you almost stepped into the golden core realm that takes most hundred years or most of their life to get to,” Old Moon praised.

“Well I won’t be breaking through for few years as I have to digest the soul or I risk an unstable foundation in the golden core realm causing it to be harder to breakthrough in the future,” Lucifer said.

“Well your still young and have a ton of time and the year will pass in a blink of an eye,” Old Moon said.

“Well one mission down now let time to work on the others,” Lucifer said.

“Let rest instead for a week as rest is important as training,” Old Moon said.

“Fine then let go to the auction that happening later.

Old Moon nodded and the two disappeared leaving to prepare for the auction.
