After the battle ended, I began collecting information about both the spider and dragon caves. I killed injured spiders along the way. Why do I keep acquiring new skills after killing these monsters? I gained [Sticky Web level 4] after finishing off the injured spiders. As I passed the dragon cave, I heard the sound of flowing water. Carefully following the sound, I reached the source. Is this water clean? Is it safe to drink? What about viruses and bacteria? "Whatever, beggars cannot be choosers." I drank and filled my pouches. How about blocking this water, stopping its flow, and poisoning it? This way, I could kill the dragons and all the monsters that use the river. Interestingly enough, it looks like a river. I wonder if I can catch fish here. However, if my plan fails, I will end up poisoning myself in the process.
While gathering information, I used Identify on the dragons. The larger one is level 7000, while the young ones are level 1000 and 800, respectively. However, I cannot see their skills; I only see question marks. Perhaps it is because of the difference in level between me and the dragons, and my Identify skill is only at level 1. It seems the young dragons are critically injured, while the big one has minor injuries. I also investigated the spider cave. Most of the spiders are level 100, and the bigger ones range from level 1000 to 3000. I think I saw the queen spider, who is level 6000. She hides deep in the cave and did not participate in the battle. The spiders seem to operate like an ant colony. Small spiders around level 100 go hunting for food for the bigger ones, and the bigger ones provide for the queen. The queen guards her eggs and does not move. "How overly protective. It is not like I will fry those eggs for breakfast or something."

You might be wondering how I was able to gather this intel. Let us start with the spider cave. I have the skill [Sticky Web level 4]. With this skill, I can shoot web from my fingers, and this web smells like... eh? I do not know the exact smell, but other spiders do not react to it as a threat. Maybe they think I am a spider? So, I was able to carefully enter the cave, inspect, and take mental notes. Regarding the dragon cave, I used the same method. Even though dragons have a strong sense of smell, they did not detect me. I guess the aftermath of the battle and the many spider corpses masking my scent helped. I also took legs from dead spiders to use as weapons. They are as hard as steel. My sword will shatter sooner or later, so I need a backup.
I entered the spider cave and used poison on the food delivered to the big spiders by the smaller ones. The queen left her eggs since she did not get the food. "I guess she is going to complain, huh." I entered the queen's cave. Wow, it is so big. I started breaking her eggs, forming a trail leading out of the cave, and threw some inside the dragon cave. "Do not even think about call me a coward." I bowed elegantly, like a stage actor closing his performance and thanking the audience. I announced, "LET THERE BE WAR."
