This chapter is longer than I thought it would be. There's a pretty obvious Hunter X Hunter reference in here. We're about halfway through this arc. I will have more time to write next week since it is finals week.
I wonder if anyone will even remember some of these events and information when they show up again in the future.

"How goes your bath tub, Aki?" asked Akira.
"Not good, there's only this tiny bit of water at the bottom," Akiza replied. "I've made many trips these last few days, but I haven't been making progress. I don't feel any stronger either."
Akiza looked at herself and grabbed her her left arm with her right one. She felt her soft skin, but it did not feel any different from before. She continued poking her right arm with her left one, hoping to find some muscle.
"I think you need meat," Akira stated.
"But I can't cook that without a fire," Akiza replied.
"What if I told you that you can make a fire," Akira said.
"How?" Akiza asked.
"Let's see if you have the ability to do it," Akira stated.
"How?" Akiza asked again.
"First, take out a bowl," Akira instructed.
"Here is one," Akiza said as she took out the one she had been using to scoop up the dirt.
Akira continued to talk, "Next, fill it as much as you can with water and you can use the water inside your ring from this."
Akiza took out water from her ring and poured it into the bowl as instructed. It was filled to the small line on the inside of the bowl.
Akira proceeded to explain the purpose of the test. "This is known as Water Divination. The purpose is to determine the nature of abilities."
"Nature?" Akiza asked.
Akira explained, "This nature is different Nature energy. There are four basic types. Earth, Fire, Wind, and Water. Depending on your nature, something different will happen to the water once you apply your Internal Energy to it. For example, if your elemental nature is Earth, the water will feel like there is sand in it. If Fire, the water will be warm. If Wind, you will notice some ripples form. If Water, the water will start moving in a fixed direction until you stop. Anything else is considered a rare form that is not part of the four basic elements."
"What was your element?" Akiza asked.
"Mine was special, known as Void element," Akira stated.
"Void?" Akiza asked.
"Void is the element of nothing. When applied properly, it would make things disappear. For example, if I used it on the water, then a hole would appear in the middle or the amount of water will decrease," Akira explained. "Anyways, go ahead and apply your Internal Energy onto the water. Just like when you absorb food, but this time, you move energy from your body onto the water."
Akiza focused herself as she moved her Internal Energy into her hands, and then the water. She closed her eyes to focus, so she could not see what was happening. Once she felt her Internal Energy leave her hands and enter the bowl, she opened her eyes to check the bowl. However, she frowned as she saw that nothing was happening to the water. It did not move at all.
"Don't worry yet," said Akira. "Your Internal Energy is low, so the effects are not obvious. You will need to look closely in order to see."
Akiza stopped channeling her Internal Energy onto the bowl and took a closer look. The water was still up to the line, so it had not disappeared. The water had not moved at all and she did not see anything.
"Go ahead and touch it," Akira said.
Akiza put a finger into the water and felt that it had turned a little warm. It was not hot, but it was not the normal temperature of the water. "It's warm," she said.
"Your element is Fire," Akira stated. "I kind of knew when looking at your Dantian, but I wanted to be safe."
"Fire..." Akiza said in a disappointing voice.
"Is something wrong?" Akira asked.
"But I like water," Akiza stated. "I enjoy baths and I like playing in the water."
Stolen from its rightful author, this tale is not meant to be on Amazon; report any sightings.
Akira put his palm to his face because he was actually feeling in your hands," Akira instructed. worried for a minute. With all the progress that Akiza had been making, Akira had forgotten a simple fact. Akiza was still a five year old girl who was trying to enjoy her life.
"Umm... how do I say this," Akira said. "This has nothing to do with what you like to do. This has more to do with the type of person you will be."
"Then what kind of person will I be?" Akiza asked.
"That is something you will have to wait and see," Akira replied. "I have a feeling I know, but this is something that you should not worry about because as long as you are yourself, everything will be fine."
"Okay, Master,"Akiza replied.
Akira continued with his explanation of the Water Divination. "Do you feel the heat in the water?"
"Yes, Master," Akiza replied.
"Now, recreate that feeling in your hands," Akira instructed.worried for a minute. With all the progress that Akiza had been making, Akira had forgotten a simple fact. Akiza was still a five year old girl who was trying to enjoy her life.
Akiza focused her Internal Energy on her hands and recreated the same feeling that she felt in the water. "Like this?" she asked.
Akira saw through Akiza's eyes and could not believe what he saw. In the palm of her hand was a small flame. It was very small, but definitely a flame. A five year old girl had instantly been able to create fire just after using Water Divination. "But you just? How? So fast?" Akira was surprised and started speaking in broken phrases because he could not believe what he had just seen. But he realized that there was something more important, Akiza's training.
"Now on to the most important thing," Akira said. "Meat!"
Akiza began to drool as she heard the word. She had not had any meat since she had been alone because she had not been able to create a fire.
Akira continued to instruct Akiza. "Go to the forest and gather as much dry wood as you can and bring it back. Medium sized pieces that you can throw into the fire are best. You will use the dry wood to construct a fire to cook with."
Akiza ran outside and began looking in the surrounding and collected all the dry wood that she could find. She stored all of it in her purple colored ring. She had collected almost enough to fill her cave within an hour.
Upon returning to the cave, Akiza began to clear out the middle of the cave and created a circle of large stones. This was a fire pit, something that her parents had built in the past and she remembered how to do it. Using her newly discovered power of fire, she carefully lit the tip of a branch and tossed it into the fire pit where there were a bunch of other branches. This created a small fire that she could keep burning with smaller branches. She then took a big piece of meat out of her Ruby Ring and stuck it onto one of the bigger dry sticks that she had found before putting it over the fire.
"Meat!" Akira shouted.
"Meat!" Akiza followed as she began to drool from the smell.
"Don't forget to absorb this meat properly," Akira instructed. "This is important for you to develop muscles."
Once the meat was done, Akiza took it from the stick and began to chew on it. This was a taste that she missed. The delicious flavor of meat. She had almost forgotten to properly absorb it, but started focusing on it once she took a few bites in. The properties of Internal Energy from meat was different from that of fruits and vegetables because it had been an animal and not a plant. Whereas plants were filled with mostly Nature, meat contained a mixture of Ki, Chakra, Mana, and Nature types.
When she finished enjoying her food, Akira began to talk once more. "You must make sure you get a combination of foods and at least meat once a day. You need the meat in order to build muscle."
"Okay Master," Akiza nodded in agreement, but mostly because she enjoyed the taste of meat.
