The next book will be better than this one for lots of reasons. My writing has improved a lot since the beginning of this book, and it’ll carry over to the next. I also started this book with little idea of where I was taking it. I would plan ahead by around ten chapters, but have no idea what would happen after twenty. I solidified my plans by chapter thirty.

Book two will be more stable. There’ll be slice of life-y stuff but also a lot more plot. All of your favorite characters and Chen Wei will be back for an obligatory school arc before the plot kicks in. Also, the new release schedule will be at least one chapter per two days. Maybe that'll mean longer chapters, time will tell.
