Chester stepped into the fighters guild. He looked around the large room in anticipation. Round tables with chairs surrounding the room. On the wall he could see the quest board covered in leather pages, each with a unique quest, he was sure. And the room was filled with adventurers. Adventurers in all different sizes. Adventurers in all different races. He noticed they were mostly carrying swords and wearing armor, although he did spot a few with bows and what looked like magic staves. Quite a few were staring at him as well, but many seemed to not even care about his large appearance. He walked over to what looked like the main desk, and waited in line. It seemed like most of he people in the line were turning in completed quests, or accepting new ones. Being so anxious, it gave him the urge to pee (just thought you would be interested to know that). Finally it was his turn and he spoke to the dwarven receptionist behind the counter. Actually first he looked over the table to see that the dwarf was standing on a platform so that he could be at eye level with everyone else. Second, he spoke to the dwarf.
"How can I help you" the dwarf asked.
"I have come to..." Chester stopped mid sentence to compose himself.
"Hello, my name is Chester. I have come to join the fighters guild"
"Nice to meet you Chester. Here is the registration form *Hands Chester a piece of paper*. The fee for C grade membership is four silver. Or would you like to join at a higher grade?"
"I don't have any money"
The receptionist looked Chester up and down.
"You want a membership without paying. There have been exceptions before, but you will have to talk to the guild master. He is in his room now, it is at the back on the right side *points to guild masters office* you can go there now"
Chester walked to the back, hoping he would not get a splinter from walking barefoot on the wooden floor. It took him longer than it should have to get to the back, he could not help himself, and was basically staring at everyone he passed. Reaching he guild master’s door, he gave a knock. *knock, knock, knock*.
"Come in"
Chester opened the door and walked in. The guild master was sitting behind a desk, looking through some papers. He was a beast-kin, with silver wolf ears. He was wearing a white t-shirt, with a silver shoulder plate, held into place with a leather strap that went across his chest. He had a necklace with a smooth round blue gem on it. There were also three rings on his right hand. A short sword was sitting in its sheath, lying on the table. The guild master spoke up.
"Whoa, aren't you a big fella!"
Chester did not know how to respond to that, so he didn't.
"Whats up?" the guild master asked
"Hello, my name is Chester, I have come to join the guild, but I have no money"
You really did practice that line, didn't you. skill acquired: Actor
The guild master looked him up and down.
"You also don't have any shoes, and you are covered in blood."
Chester stood there, anxious, feeling like his whole future was in this mans (beast-kins?) hands.

Standing up, the guild master spoke.
"Well, before we decide, lets check you out first"
The guild master walked past Chester and into the main room.
"follow me"
They both walked back to the front desk. The guild master spoke to the receptionist.
"Pass me the identification sphere"
The dwarf receptionist pulled a sphere out from a drawer and placed it on he desk.
"Chester, put your hand on it"
Chester put his hand on the sphere, and it glowed with a faint blue light. A blue status screen popped up on top of the sphere, and before Chester could see what it said the guild master "grabbed" the status screen with two fingers and turned it towards himself. Looking at the screen, the guild master had a look of surprise on his face.
"In all my years as guild master, I have never seen a stat screen with these kind of numbers"
Chester spoke up
"Can I see it?"
The guild master gave Chester a puzzling look, why doesn't he just check his own status screen?, He turned the screen to face Chester.

Chester spoke to the guild master.
"Are these good stats?"
"I don't know what kind of life you have been living, but those stats are lower than a new born babies"
Chester picked up on the guild masters sense of humor, and gave a smile
"Ha ha very funny" *lightly chuckles*
The guild master straightened his lips and looked Chester right in the eye.
"I'm serious"
The guild master continued.
"However, that is the highest amount of HP I have ever seen. And, you have skills that I never even heard of"
The guild master paused for a moment to think.
"Your stats are all so low, but when they are low, it is easier to level them up. And with that giant HP of yours, added to that your huge size, with the right training, you could be one of the greatest heavy armor fighters in the world"
Chester's mouth turned into a huge smile. Finally my adventure towards greatness is about to begin.

"What the fuck top hat man, the guild master just said I'm gonna be the greatest"
"Are you talking to me?" the guild master asked
Chester realized he spoke out loud.
"NO, uh, i was talking to the blue screen guy..." as Chester spoke, his voice lowered considerably.
"Well, let's head to the training floor to check some things out, if it goes well, I may train you personally"
As hey headed towards the stairs at the side of the room, Chester heard the dwarf talking to himself.
"No one ever gets to train with the guild master..."
