A chicken emerges from the earth's fissure,

Showing off its feathers with pride.

My, can the chicken fly with that figure?

So round, so fluffy, seeing it, one could have died.

The Chickenmancer greets the chicken,

And on its back, he attaches a fish.

As if understanding its master’s intention,

The chicken runs off with a swish.

A strange man sees and smells the fish,

He moonwalks quickly, looking gaudy.

‘Where are you going, my delicious dish?’

Says the penguin in a human body.

The people in the crowd are so confused,

Why are so many people waddling about?

It’s the Chickenmancer’s elaborate ruse,

Devised to make them rout.

‘It is a prank!’ Says a man dressed in leather.

He laughs and shows a grin.

‘Now everyone pull your heads together,’

‘Seriously, a moonwalking penguin?’

The crowd curses and proceeds to hiss,

Some raise an arm and shake their fist.

It is clear they are, indeed, very pissed,

Unknowing, that this is also a twist.

All over Versailles, confirmation came,

Reports of people doing the very same.

Dancing and waddling, without shame,

Playing a prank, looking for fame.

The crowd disperses and rumors fade,

Accepting, that they had been tailing a troll.

Only the group of prankers stay within their escapade,

A step closer, to reaching their goal.
