“Dood!” Screamed the blue and white avian, surprising both players and NPC’s alike. He had recently surged into a Plaza on the middle of Lavias. That was an uncommon occurrence in itself, as players rarely started at this town. He had stayed silent, looking over his surroundings for a few minutes. His small black, bird eyes showed surprise and he suddenly had screamed that one word.
“Awesome, dood!” He once again screamed, but this time, he had started to dance and spin around. Some players started to laugh at the short bird’s dancing. Some even recorded it, later posting it on a Royal Road fan site. The video would make so much success he would instantly become a celebrity.
“Indeed, kaw! Being happy is good, kaw!” Said an elderly crow-like avian, who had approached Prymn. Noticing he was the target of the old man’s words, he stopped dancing.
“Aye, dood. The world is so beautiful, dood! Being alive, is great, dood!” Said Prymn in quick succession, causing the elder to smile - something only a real bird like him would have noticed.
“I wish I could be happy too, kaw.” Said the elder, his eyes filled with sadness.
“What’s wrong, dood?” He asked the crow elder, who was actually the first to speak to him since he came to Lavias. So, he was surprised by the man’s next words.
“*sniff* My, wife. kaw. She’s *cries* missing, kaw! She went to Karal cave, kaw! But that was in the morning, kaw!” It was already evening. He did not know how far Karal cave was, but that did not change the fact that too many hours had passed.
An Empty Nest:
The most respected elder of the Krow clan is worried about the fact that his wife has yet to return. She had left for Kural cavern, which is built conveniently inside the Krow’s residence, used as an exclusive source of food and materials.
Quest Difficulty: D
Quest Requirements: Exclusive to avians. Hearing out the elder’s plea.
Reward: Increased familiarity whit the crows. Kurkaw’s family heirloom. A unique armor. Access to the Krow tower.
“I will find her, dood!” Said Prymn, who had learned that the only way the weak can survive is by helping each other. Often he had been saved by other prinnies during his slave training. If not for them, their cruel trainer would have made prinny juice out of him.
“I appreciate it, kaw!.” Said Kurkaw, smiling. Having received his first quest, he did not know how screwed he was. A quest ranked D was absolutely impossible for a level one. But he was given it, so, he thought it was possible for him to do it. And so, he set off for the cave, walking for an hour. That is, till he realized he did not know where the cave was.
“Damn, dood! I should’ve had asked, dood!” He screamed in despair, which cause a nearby adventurers group approach him. Their leader, a petite warrior, spoke with him.
“What’s wrong?” She asked the cute blue bird before her. Rose lived on the top floor of her family's pet shop, and one of the reasons she liked to play in Lavias was to see the birds which lived in it. She had never met an avian player before, so, she thought Prymn was part of some quest.

“Kurkaw’s wife, dood. She’s missing, dood! And I don’t know, where Kural cave is dood!” Said Prymn, nearly crying. Hearing it, Rose expected to see a quest message, which she was eager to accept.
“Huh, no quest? Aren’t you a NPC quest giver?” She mumbled, as nothing had happened.
“No way, dood. I am a player, dood!” Said Prymn, wondering how she had mistaken him for a NPC.
“Player? Well, if you share the quest with us, we can help you.” Said Rose, smiling. It was the chance to recruit a cute bird to her party, and she was willing to do anything for it. And I really do mean anything.
Rose has invited you to her party, do you accept?
“Sure, dood. Can’t believe someone is helping me, dood!” He was smiling, not that anyone noticed. That is, aside from Rose. Did I mention she loved birds? Yeah? Ok, just so you know this is not an attempt to increase the story’s word count in any way that I can assure you of. What? I should, just go back to the story? Ok, calm down, I will do so.
Having joined their party, Prymn was led to the Kural’s cave by Rose, who knew Lavias as if it were her second home. She led them to the residence of the Krow tower. Conveniently, the cave was inside the city of Lavias, so, Prymn could enter it.
“By the way, Prymnchwiik. What’s your level and class? Chwiik.” Asked Urorkchwik, an orc so ugly, the party forced him to wear a hood and a mask.
“Level and class, dood? What’s that, dood?” Asked Prymn, confused with his question. His answer caused the whole party look at him with pity. The poor noob had gotten such high level quest, if not for them, he would be fried chicken.
“Well, just stay back and relax. We will do the fighting.” Said Rose, hugging Prymn, as if he was a fluffy feather pillow. He did not care that she hugged him. Rather, he was afraid to say anything about it.
They had reached the entrance to the cave, which was just a large hole in the ground with a path leading down into the cave. Rose and her group formed a line; Prymn being forced to stay at the back. Frankly, he was happy about that.
‘My own minions, dood. That’s so, awesome, dood.’ Thought Prymn, daydreaming about becoming an overlord and eating sardines all day long. When he reached the inside of the cave, a message suddenly popped up.
