Chapter 26|| Amplifier

"It's ok, I'm fine, thank you, you saved my life and even healed me, thank you Lyyla."

At that moment, Lyyla stopped crying and released, Sen from her embrace, she quickly put on a sour face and sat up, she shouted out.

"Lyyla!! I'm not that ugly wench, it's me."

Sen paused for a moment, trying to wrap his head around the thought and then he shouted back.

"RYYLA!!"

"Of course it's me, I look nothing like Lyyla.'

Sen couldn't help but give a sideways glance to Ryyla the two were identical twins they looked exactly the same. So when she called her sister ugly wasn't she calling herself ugly as well.

"Wait, why are you looking at me like that, do I stink or something?"

"Huh?"

"nothing nothing, Sen are you sure your ok? I came as soon as Lyyla called."

"I'm fine now could you please get off of me, you're too big you weigh a ton."

Ryyla turned bright red.

"What, I... I don't weigh that much how rude."

Even though she said that she was still mounted on top of Sen .

"You say that yet you're still on top of me crushing me."

"Ryyla quickly got off of Sen and as she did Sen and Ryyla both noticed 3 figures behind them standing in the doorway staring in shock."

"You damn succubus get off of my son."

Kai shouted at Ryyla, the three figures were Kai Tara and Lyyla. Tara ran up to Sen and pulled him into her embrace and started kissing his head and face all over.

"Sen, Sen my baby boy, are you ok ?we came as soon as we heard."

"Mom, stop I'm fine ."

"I will not stop, my son was almost killed, how could this have happened."

"Mom, I'm fine ."

But she continued kissing him anyway until Kai intervened.

"Tara the boy said he was fine stop harassing him."

Tara glared at Kai like a hawk glaring at prey, a mother's love is truly incalculable. So when she heard her husband tell her to stop, she couldn't help but shoot daggers at him with her eyes. She looked back at Sen and once more asked.

"Sen are you truly ok?"

Sen wriggled himself loose just a bit .

"Yes, I'm fine trust me."

Hearing Sen say he's fine a third time it finally reassured her and her heart calmed a bit. She then remembered Ryyla just a second ago on top of her son, she squinted at Ryyla.

"Ryyla I thought we agreed not until Sen was an adult, how could you break our promise."

Lyyla's face turned bright red after Tara's words.

"What you actually agreed to let my hag of a sister have your son?"

Tara gave a simple nod and Kai just stared angrily. Ryyla felt a little shy, her face looked like a kid who got caught with their hand in a cookie jar.

"Marry me off to Ryyla, mom is this true?"

"Yes Sen, when your are of age she is to be your bride."

"Dad, you actually agreed to this?"

Kai had an angry look on his face, but he still gave a nod. Sen seeing his mom and dad's confirmation left Sen in disbelief. "They actually wanted me to marry her, I could have sworn they didn't trust her. Is this what 10 years of them being around her every day entail's. There's no way I'm going to let this happen." Before Sen could speak up though Lyyla jumped in.

"I can't allow this, Ryyla you can't marry a human. Do you know how unfortunate it would be after he dies within a century? Plus if you were to have kids and grandkids you would most likely outlive them all, there's no way you could watch your whole family die."

"What do you know, when me and Sen get married we'll live for the moments and be as happy for as long as we can and the day he dies ill take my life as well so I can be with him."

Everyone just looked towards Ryyla in shock, none of them knew how determined she actually was, but from her statements one could say she'd go life or limb over Sen.

"What the hell is wrong with everyone. There's no way I'm going to marry Ryyla and for one thing she's not even my type."

Sen had just said that to shut them up, but in truth he really did like Ryyla's looks just not her weird-ass personality. Ryyla, as well as Lyyla, were both tremendously beautiful it was just that he knew how Ryyla acted. In his mind for some reason as soon as marriage came up he immediately thought of prison. So there was no way in the world he wanted to get married.

Ryyla's face turned sour while Kai and Lyyla began to laugh wildly. Tara just watched her son with a confused look on her face. She thought if Ryyla wasn't his type then what woman could be. Because to Tara, Ryyla was the most beautiful woman she had ever seen.

It was enough to make anyone jealous, that's how beautiful she was and for a split second Tara thought. "Don't tell me Sen is g..gay." She quickly dismissed it though thinking back there was no way. Because she had caught Sen taking glances at Ryyla all the time when he was growing up, he clearly liked her or at least her body.

"You don't think my face is pretty."

Ryyla said this in a saddened tone as she looked at Sen with watery eyes.

"Well, I wouldn't say that."

"Then it's my body, earlier you said I was fat and disgusting and stinky."

Tara looked at Sen disapprovingly she gasped.

"Sen you didn't, to call a woman fat, have I raised you wrong."

Lyyla looked a little bit worried, she looked at Ryyla's body and then at her own body as well and truth be told she was probably 5 more pounds heavier then Ryyla was. She couldn't help but feel herself checking to make sure she wasn't secretly fat.

"Huh, I never called you fat, what the hell are you talking about?"

"Earlier, when I was on top of you, you said I weighed a ton remember."

"Yeah, but that's because you were crushing me."

"Ah ha see right there, that means fat ."

"What, in what world does that mean your fat?"

"In a woman's world."

Ryyla quickly retorted back.

Lyyla and Tara could be seen nodding in the back round while Kai just stood there thinking. "My son walked right into that one."

*sigh*

"You're not fat ok, I'm just 10 so my body isn't fully grown. So to me you are just slightly a teeny tiny bit more developed that's all."

Sen had to think of his words carefully or 3 women would soon gang up on him and he was already annoyed as it is. So he decided to forget the marriage thing and change the topic to something that actually matters.

"Anyway, that's not what's important, Lyyla I want to know why that mana exploded in my hands. Just what went wrong? before you had mentioned the dangers, but the mana itself exploding wasn't among them."

Lyyla shook her head with a no.

"Sen, honestly I've never seen that happen before. I didn't think someone could cause the mana to just explode like that. I really don't have an answer."

"Then how will I ever know what went wrong. If someone who's practiced this technique for 50 years doesn't know then who could tell me."

Lyyla hung her head in shame, she had been alive for so long and had seen many things and had knowledge that most beings in the world didn't know, but this skill that she's been practicing for so long. She just couldn't give Sen a proper answer and it made her quite upset, but just then Ryyla spoke up.

"Kukuku so little Lyyla doesn't know the answer maybe I should explain it then."

"What, teacher, is it true you know why?"

"No way, how could you possibly know? you aren't even practicing this skill."

"Kukuku indeed I don't practice this skill, but I've come across this once before."

Everyone looked on at Ryyla in astonishment, even though they had known and lived with her for 10 years she could still surprise them with the things she knew. The only person that looked upset was Lyyla, once again her sister could do something that she couldn't and it was eating her up inside. She had an annoyed look on her face as she looked towards Ryyla.

"Teacher has come across this already when?"

"Yeah, sis when?"

Ryyla noticed the sarcasm in her sisters tone which caused her to sigh, she didn't want another fight between her and her sister to start so she decided to just explain it instead of goofing around.

"A long time ago I met a certain figure who trained in the skill Titans Might. This man's name was Guro and he eventually mastered this technique. Before that though he and I became friends rather easily. We journeyed together all across the 5 great continents, but during our journey we ended up on the easternmost continent, you know the one, it is the most savage place in the world."

"You mean to say you were on the continent of Arcania, why the hell were you there?"

" We were in search of an important artifact that's why we were there. Anyway, while we were there my friend had not quite mastered Titans Might and one day after a battle in a ruin we collected many treasures. There Guro found a special gem in that ruin and at the time neither one of us knew it, but we soon found out that night. As Guro sat down to practice, that special gem was in his pack right next to him. As usual everything was fine, but when he started to form the ball of mana it like your own expanded to a ridiculous size. Except his had expanded to the size of a small house ."

"What! the size of a house."

"Yes, but since I was there, me being a mage I immediately knew where the source was coming from. So I acted immediately, I grabbed his pack and using the wind I launched it several miles away onto a nearby mountain. As it flew off towards the mountain Guro's ball of mana followed it. When it finally detonated the sky lit up like the sun and the air trembled violently and me and Guro heard a loud explosion. After all the dust had settled, to our shock the entire mountain had been leveled, in its place were small boulders and rubble."

Everyone's faces contained the look of shock even Lyyla's. She had never heard of this story before and she couldn't help but think of that gem. For it to contain so much power, what gem or stone could do that. Her thoughts immediately came to an interesting conclusion she thought. "Philosopher's Stone."

"Sen what Lyyla describe to me sounds exactly the same as what happened to me and my friend. That gem that Guro found in that ruin was a Mana Amplifier ."

"A what ?"

"A mana amplifier is an object that amplifies mana. It can do one of three things, it can make mana more potent it can gather mana at an abnormally fast rate and it can store an insane amount of mana. Sen I believe that because of your eyes Titans Might went out of your control because of them. I can't believe it's taken me all this time, but Sen, your eyes are just like a mana amplifier."

Sen thought carefully about Ryyla's words and they did indeed make sense. His eyes do in fact absorb mana at an incredible rate, they can store copious amounts of mana in them and going by the fact that the mana ball he created was so strong. There was now no doubt in his mind that his eyes also made mana more potent, but all that considering why did it go out of his control. After his 5th birthday, he could control his mana nearly perfectly, so why did this technique go so wild, what was it that was out of his control?

"Wait a minute what do you mean Sen's eyes are like a mana amplifier?"

Ryyla just now realizing what she had said in front of her sister took a big gulp of air. Everyone just looked on in shock. Tara and Tai couldn't believe it either, after 10 years of keeping Sen's secret Ryyla let it slip so easily. They both thought," This girl really is an idiot." Tara also rethought about the marriage.

Sen didn't even think about Lyyla being in the room, she was just standing there so quietly and Sen was too busy thinking about the technique and why it went out of his control. He didn't even realize Ryyla had slipped up until Lyyla said something, but he was calm and didn't panic. He just thought of the many different ways on how he would get Ryyla back later on. As he thought up some sinister ideas, Lyyla once more spoke out this time with a little more oomph.

"Hey, why isn't anyone answering me, Ryyla what did you mean when you said his eyes were like an amplifier?"

Ryyla quickly formulated a plan, she knew she had messed up and she knew Sen might hate her if she gave away his secret. The gears in Ryyla's mind quickly started to turn and one idea after another jumped in her brain and after a few second it came to her and with this plan she immediately thought to herself. "Perfect, my plan is bullet proof, no way Sen's secret will be exposed kukuku" Ryyla shyly laughed towards Lyyla and she decided now's the time to act.

"Lyyla I never said Sen's eyes were like an amplifier I think you misheard."

After Ryyla said that, in her mind she was patting herself on the back, she thought. "Kukuku with that my plan has succeeded."
