“System.”
Mumbling a little, Kunti peek at the status window.

Her status has changed, as expected.
She had been wondering what type of Demon race she was ever since the day she 'passed away'. She is aware that she is a ghost, but the Kingdom of Heart is home to dozens of different ghost types. It's a good thing she knows its ghost, because the ghost race is only a subtype of another Demon race.
The Undead, which come in hundreds of various races.
The church should be aware of who she is, but going there is equivalent to accomplishing a true death for the ghost, 'exorcism'.
She was stuck in the West district since her damaged corpse made it difficult for her to move. The further she moved away from her corpse, the less she could do in her incorporeal form. She can't even read a book to learn about ghosts in another district.
It's odd that neither the church nor the kingdom sent someone to hunt her...
Since her race in the status screen changed to a certain Demon type, it must be accurate. If only the system could inform her what's in her status rather than requiring her to figure it out for herself.
The system is divided into two parts: the main system and the individual system. Sections like skill, spell, HP, mana, and stamina are derived from the main system. Others are part of the individual system.
The individual system is not as all-knowing as the main system, especially in terms of title, uniques, and race. The status will only show individuals what they know for sure.
There have been instances of inaccurate information in such sections, as opposed to the other portions of status, which show consistent information because they are sourced from the main system.
Kunti assumed she was a Wandering spirit or a Deprived ghost at worst. She didn't even consider herself a vengeful spirit.
She is too shiocked to learn she is actually a Vengeful spirit.
After all, as far as she knows, the ultimate fate of all Vengeful spirits is total madness.
“Kunti, you have observed me for a while, right? You know where my bag is located?”
Eh?
Kunti looked up and found Rivan had covered her with his body. His slime-drenched back provides her with reassurance.
She was certain Rivan had gone insane because of the Slime demon, and now he unexpectedly regained his mind back.
Perhaps she can also overcome the inevitable craziness.
"…Yes"
She has to. She has a younger brother to watch over.
“Bring it to me as I distract her attention. It’s the only way we can survive.”
Susan is staring at them, or more accurately, at Kunti. It's evident that she is the primary target.
Looking at Rivan, she can't help but smile.
"Are you sure?"
Kunti did not need to carry out his plan. She can rush to her dead body, take possession of it, and leave Rivan behind.
Of course, she will not do it.
She is certain Susan would not let Rivan leave either if she escape alone and didn't help her escape.
"Yes. If you know the rectangular silver item in my bag, I just need that.”
What about that thing?
Kunti assumed he required the cursed book. It was so deadly that just reading it hurt her.
Was the silver thing much more dangerous than the book?
She whispered to Rivan. He shouldn't be the only one who keeps Susan distracted.
"I'll summon some spirit to help. Give me a sign when you are ready."
She says so, closing her eyes to concentrate.
She has a skill that comes from her uniqueness. Fragmented Soul.
Spiritual sight. This sight skill are also the foundation for her side-class the Spirit Caller.

In a world of utter darkness, she can detect the invisible matter all around her. She has been familiar with this sight since she was born.
She sensed two watery blobs of light close together a few metres away. They were shortly joined by another matter, a silhouette of a human woman shrouded in light. The woman stepped forward and hugged one of them.
The more Kunti focused her senses, the more blobs and humans appeared around her. The humans are farther away, and Kunti can see wounds around their essential organs.
They are all lingering souls. Remain that appear whenever an intelligent being passed away.
The appearance they took was their final appearance before death.
Kunti can't help but wince as she looks at the blobs.
Even after death, they degrade into slime.
This is why she dislike brutal death. She also realized the chance of ghost formed from such death is much higher.
Fortunately, most lingering souls ultimately vanish; the others stand a chance at becoming a Demon of the Ghost type. It appeared that none of these lingering souls will become Demons.
She murmurs quietly to herself while biting her own lips.
"Please die peacefully."
Kunti then spent more time looking for what she was looking for, and she discovered it quickly.
In contrast to the watery blob of light, this one is entirely made up of light. It's difficult to tell what it is because they all appear alike from the outside.
To summon spirits, she need to know their type of spirit.
She could only recognise them based on her experience and intuition.
She at the end recognized them. Knowing what they are, she waits.
Waiting for Rivan's signal.
"Now!"
Kunti opened her eyes and noticed how the slimes around them formed small walls to the east wing.
It's time to request further assistance.
"[Grass spirit], [Tree spirit], and [Soil spirit]. Help me stall time!"
Kunti flew to the east wing without waiting for the results.
The ball of light she sensed in the universe of darkness appeared all around her. They all shoot themselves in the direction of Susan.
When a blood red stick punctured them, some did not have enough time to fully appear. They quickly puffed out of existence.
Kunti began to pay attention and hide herself in the little walls of slime whenever she could, as she saw how the stick now affected incorporeal beings.
Huge winds blow from behind her, and the conflict between Rivan and Susan has begun.
On the corner of her eyes, she notices that the sticks appear to have affected more than only the incorporeal. Even the indestructible slime disappeared when the blood-red stick 'exploded' to nothing at the slime wall.
Kunti looks behind her as she witnesses such a sight.
Rivan's body was being blown apart by the blood-red sticks. Susan's long hair whipped away the slimes made from the dead bodies to a faraway region.
Despite this disadvantageous circumstance, Rivan's body continues to regenerate, unlike the slime outside his body, which vanished immediately.
After confirming Rivan's temporary safety, she proceeded with her goal.
When she arrived at the east wing and discovered Rivan's bag, she heard him shout.
"LEAVE!"
Rivan's one word causes Kunti's already pale face to pale even further.
She immediately understood.
Rivan's real intention.
Looking into the inner courtyard, she notices Rivan's body becoming engulfed by the hair. They meticulously chopped and removed the slime, which was then attacked by the blood-red stick.
Two of them might not be able to escape but one can.
He lied to her. So she can escape.
"No…"
Kunti mumbled to herself. The bag she is holding now feels extremely heavy.
It is simply not conceivable.
"Rivan can't lie to me…"
Her mind wandered to something.
What made her believe Rivan so much? To the extent of believing he will not lie.

When I realised that slime could be obliterated, I knew I couldn't use the Miracle Camera. There is insufficient time for that.
"Little demon, do you think I don't know your slime shrank slightly when you suffered a fireball? The fire did nothing but the explosion did."
I know. That was the way the original Irregular died. Space Oddities is blasting it to pieces. The Space Rip and Unstable Space are in the proximinity during that time.
Kunti's little lights flutter around Susan, and they are quickly killed by the sticks formed of blood and flesh. They keep appearing and then destroyed
"I also noticed the slimes that isn't connected to you physically become much weaker."
Susan's hair is getting longer. They arrived at the ground quickly, despite the fact that she was floating several metres in the air. They are flailing around furiously.
She began using them to clear the slimes that surrounded me. Then she used them to detach my limbs.
Like what Mathieu said, the slime's current READ user. I didn't feel any pain, and my missing limbs and skin healed swiftly. An ideal Irregular for READ.
Then what he said regarding the other thing must be correct.
The more damage I sustain, the shorter the time limit for using READ.
Susan's hair didn't stop, it now wrapped my entire body. Raising my body into the air.
I had no idea how much time I have left, so I fought with my free hand to reach my pocket.
Where my phone is situated. When I clicked the power button, it displayed that they were still on.
irregular I-2766
If the Entity looks at a clock or other time-related device and determines the current time, it will experience Time Oddities. I-2766 does not count.
If I can't get the particular Time Oddities I desire, let's leave it to chance.
I sighed with relief as I looked to see where Kunti was.
It is fortunate that Kunti is far enough away from the horrific Time Oddities to be unaffected. Just to be safe, I yelled.
"LEAVE!"
I do not want her to go through this.
Now, just as I wanted to peek at the clock on my phone,
Behind Susan, I noticed someone with shining reddish-pink hair. One of the her hands is raised to the sky.
Susan's performance came to a halt when a dazzling light shone between us. Her hair is neatly chopped, even the ground split.
I have no time to understand it because I feel a massive force strike my body and push me to the east wing.
My body is drawn to Kunti's position.
On the air, I get a chance to see what hit me. It's a big shield.
Two knights wearing matching heavy armour stood where I had been. One holds a familiar huge sword, while the other holds both a sword and a massive shield.
The knight's huge shield shielded both of them from the sky.
Sky?
I don't have time to view anything else since someone has grabbed my body. A dark hair obstructed my vision. The aroma of plumeria hit my nose.
"Rivan..."
The embrace that catches my body makes me feel comfy. I controlled my slime so that it did not infect her. I don't want to hurt her.
What I see in front of me is more important than the tremendous explosion behind me.
Her long hair conceals her face, but I can just make out her blood-red eyes. It's somehow soothing.
I can feel my body and clothes returning to normal, no longer slimy and sticky. My eyelids seem heavy, perhaps my READ usage time limit is up.

Anna watches with joy as the meteor spell falls directly on the wretched monster. The meteor's flame extended throughout the inner courtyard.
Although the impact result was disheartening, the demon simply shrugged it off and sacrificed her own hair to mitigate the harm.
Daniel and Danny move forward and begin to combat with their opponent.
All is well.
They are a little late since they discovered a mysterious dead body on their way here. There is no wound and its location is obscured.
Anna takes a look at the escaping pair of demons that Theresa asked her to assist. The woman carries Rivan to the location of the mysterious deceased body.
"So the dead body is really the ghost body and its anchor."
She turned her attention back to the battle. Her Daniel and Danny require assistance, so she plans to help them by burning down the entire mansion and incinerating Susan.
"Let's send a few more meteor, shall we?"
