After Ivis and Luna left, Ariel and Telarion went to the viewing room on the second floor to view the entire ceremony with the other nobles.

Ariel and Telarion entered the room and saw the room segregated between elven nobles and human nobles. The only people intermixing were the two kings of their respective races.

“Welcome Ariel, I’m glad you made it and arrived with a very uh, let’s say wild entrance?” Said Tyrion, he had seen Solstice years back but even he was caught off guard but the aura the 13-year-old emitted now.

“Welcome ancestor, I second what King Tyrion said, I now know why my daughter is fixated on him.” The best thing that could happen to Irian is his daughter marrying into the ancestors' family. This would solidify the bloodline of the royal family, over the years the purity of blood gets weaker, but this could strengthen it once again.

Tyrion turned around to look at the nobles in the room and finally began his march to integrating his race with others.

“Nobles of the Lightmane Kingdom, this lady here is the Ancestor of the elven race so please don’t embarrass our kingdom.” Nobody saw but his gaze stuck to a certain Duke who had similar features to the pompous child outside. This was the Duke of the Bloodhardt family, it was the 2nd strongest behind the duke family.

“I greet the oh so great ancestor of the elven race.” Said the Duke in a very condescending way, he was the current head named Edward Bloodhardt.

“Edward, I won’t tolerate the disrespect, go back to your seat or I’ll remove you and your family from this gathering.” Threatened Tyrion, he knew some scene would be made by this man, but he couldn’t prevent a duke’s family from showing up.

Immediately after Tyrion said this, he felt an immense killing intent from behind. He turned around immediately and saw that Telarion was seconds away from destroying Edward.

“Telarion, I’ll make sure to correct this wrong, I won’t tolerate disrespect to Lady Ariel. I will punish his family for this transgression. So please don’t make a duke family disappear today, please.” Tyrion knew how unruly Telarion could be so he had to intervene immediately, or his kingdom would suffer a big hit in power, he didn’t know of anyone who could beat Telarion since Victor passed on and his wife wasn’t going to stop him at any point in time.

The killing intent faded slowly which made Edward breathe a sigh of relief.

“The ceremony will begin now, let’s all cool down and enjoy our children’s future alright?” Tyrion was sweating profusely from this since he felt hatred coming from the elves too. Hopefully this would pass after seeing how great the next generation was going to be.

“Alright I will be calling out names and once I do, come forward and place your hand on the orb, you will see a floating orb made of your element and that will signify your affinity, any questions?”

Nobody raised their hands, and the ceremony began, the order went from lowest in the noble line to the highest ranked. The commoner ceremony is held in an open location with many more attending, the nobles were just more powerful to which it led to this smaller ceremony.

Throughout the ceremony nobody crazy appeared minus a set of twins from the human kingdom, they were from the Frost family. The girl had long blue hair and had a very shy demeanor while the brother also had short blue hair with a cold demeanor. The girl awakened ice and fire while the brother awakened ice and wind. It finally made its way to the elven side, from there only one person awakened more than one, but she had a triple affinity. She was the daughter of Feyrith and she had awakened nature, wind, and light which showed he had incredible talent. She had long silver hair like her father, but she had a very caring demeanor. After all the minor nobles finished, it came down to Luna, Ivis and Solstice. Many people were curious about Solstice but had to wait until the end, the first one to go up was Ivis.

When he got up there, he gave a nice smile to the crowd and placed his hand on the orb. After a few seconds the orb showed another triple affinity which stunned the crowd, he had awakened Lightning, Light, and Wind. In the future people are going to dread attempting to fight arguably one of the fastest people in Aevis. Ivis looked up and saw his father smiling at him, he had hoped to at least match up to his dad but ended up passing him.

Next was Luna, but instead of looking at her father she was looking at Solstice and winked at him which easily flustered him. What stunned the crowd even more was another triple affinity, she awakened nature, light, and dark which was an unheard-of combination. After she stepped off the podium she ran to Solstice and hugged him and proceeded to whisper something.

“Maybe we can actually fight together one day.” One thing that had always bothered her was the fact that she thought she would never be able to fight side by side with Solstice, but after awakening arguably all three of the best support elements, she could possibly help him someway which was a big burden off her shoulders.

Solstice finally slipped his way out of the hug and ran up to the podium. Ariel saw this and smiled, she loved Solstice immensely and wanted him to stand on his own two feet. But that wouldn’t stop her from giving him every possible tool to make it happen, plus seeing him and Luna interact made her incredibly happy.

When Solstice got up there, he placed his hand on the orb, but what followed was a crunching sound and it completely shattered. Everyone was bewildered by this but Darius emerged from out of nowhere with another orb.

“I made this one, better than that piece of junk ya had, keep it.” After saying this he just walked away like nothing happened. After everything that had happened the past month, he knew that Solstice was going to do something like this, so he prepared ahead of time.

Finally, Solstice touched it again after thanking his mentor and what happened next was something that would go down in history. This moment was the moment when everything in Solstice’s life would become living hell.

When the orb lit up, the priest had to do a triple take before understanding what just happened. He sat there stunned before finally Tyrion himself came down to take a look.

“The orb is showing an affinity for…. Wow, still a monster I see. He has affinities for Lightning, Metal, Blood, Dark, corruption somehow and three others. I'm not quite sure what they’re, Lady Ariel could you come down here and look?” Tyrion had been alive for a couple hundred years but had never seen these three elements before which showed how rare they were.

Ariel teleported downstairs which stunned almost everyone here, Space was one of the rarest affinities to have and only a handful of people had ever seen it in action.

“I see your following in our steps son, the last three are Space, and uh somehow Gravity and Time.” Ariel knew that he would awaken Space, but she had no idea how he managed to awaken her sister's elements on top of it. This moment brought about a lot of changes that were soon to come.

“Are we prepped for the mission? Alpha 2 said we can't make mistakes and we need to eliminate these people.” Said a burly man with a full set of black armor on to his underlings. Currently around 150 people have gathered to undergo an operation ordered by Alpha 2.

“Yes sir, we got some minor alterations to the list since the ceremony just concluded, we have a new number one on the list.”

Yes, Solstice was not on the list to begin with but now had climbed to number one, among many other people who had just awakened.

“Alright, nobody will leave till after the banquet. I bet Tyrion is going to be surprised when we slaughter the entire future generation. Everyone take your positions, when the Plane Displacer activates, you’ll know what to do. Dismissed.” With that, a plan to rock Aevis to its core was going to take place after a momentous day.

—---Hours later at the Banquet

Many tables were set up around the giant room Tyrion had built just for occasions like this. Tyrion was smiling gleefully whenever he saw that one table had actually managed to have elves and humans at it. This table consisted of Solstice, Luna, Ivis, the Frost twins and Feyrith's daughter.

“Seeing as how it seems this group will lead the future of our generation; I was hoping we could all become acquainted or perhaps even friends with each other.” Ivis decided to attempt to make his father proud by initiating the first real contact between humans and elves. One by one everyone began introducing themselves.

“My name is Luna, please drop the lady, I hate it.”

“My name is Solstice, sorry if I lack courtesy, I've never been around many people…” Seeing Solstice get nervous made Feyrith’s daughter smile and confirm something.

“My name is Rina Moonstar, the daughter of Feyrith Moonstar, it's a pleasure to meet you all.” The entire time Rina said this she was staring deeply at Solstice with a huge smile. This didn't make it past Luna as she frowned inwardly hoping for no competition.

“My name is Hugo Frost, and my sister’s name is Lily Frost.” Hugo was incredibly cold when he announced their names, but nobody took offense since it was the first time they met. While everyone began conversing, Lily was taking peeks at Solstice and was getting slightly redder, this did not escape from Luna either and slowly but surely, she could feel her obsessiveness taking over. Before she could say something, a wave of uneasiness befell everyone and all of a sudden, all the adults disappeared leaving only the servants who were serving food.

Almost everyone was freaking out until Ivis and Luna rallied their people and made them calm down.

“Everyone calms down, we need to gather up and prepare for the worst so get into a defensive formation.” While everyone was trying to listen to Ivis a loud scream resounded in the back and blood spurted everywhere. Solstice was the first to come close and saw the pompous child of Edward Bloodhardt had been cut down.

“Thank God, I was getting tired of that little shit trying to order us around. Alright boys, let's let loose!” After the servant said this many more screams resounded in the room signifying people dying at a rapid rate.

Thus began a night of terror and bloodshed for the new generation.
