“You know you can’t escape us forever right? This world? It’s done for. Consider yourself lucky that we didn’t come in full force here.” Said a man with ashen gray hair who was missing his left arm. He was incredibly bloodied and was walking back into a Stargate. This Stargate connected his homeworld to the current one he was in, Aevis. As the man walked away all you could see was hundreds of dead bodies dismembered and rivers of blood in his path. All these people attempted to stop this man when he showed up with his army. All it took was single swings from his sword for him to slice through armor, weapons, magic shields, no matter what it was, it was all like butter to him. All that was left of his army was sealed away in a special dimension, completely dooming him from the start. But even then, he still slaughtered his way through a large chunk of people who were considered powerhouses like it was child’s play. Only when a certain group of people in Aevis with special statuses banded together did they finally halt his advance. In the process over half of them died, but it “saved” Aevis for the time being.
“You know you can’t seal this Stargate forever, and I’d be surprised if the others you sealed stay sealed in that weak dimension you got haha” waved the man with his one good arm. After he said this he casually walked through it and let the portal slowly close behind him, but not before he left them with a reminder. He kicked the head of one of the powerhouses he killed and smiled. Because of that person's sacrifice did they manage to sever his arm and fight him back. Before the head could touch the ground a man with long black hair in a ponytail caught it. He was incredibly powerfully built with dragon wings, this man was Telarion. The head was of someone dear to him but all he could do was stare blankly at it. This was his best friend Victor Squall, the only person in Aevis who could match him in martial prowess.
As Telarion stared at the head, an elven woman with waist length white hair and a petite build came from behind and hugged him. No words were said, everyone felt suffocated after what they just fought. One man was able to completely overpower the top powerhouses like it was child’s play. Only after one of the top three fighters had sacrificed themselves did they land a single blow on him. It was…. Humiliating.
While everyone was brooding there was a pale lady with scarlet colored hair focusing on something. Her forehead was sweating and it seemed like she was grasping the air for something invisible. What she was doing wouldn’t be found out until years down the line. But this marked the turning point in the history of Aevis. One in which many new powerhouses would rise, the line between good and evil would blur, all for the sake of survival.

—— 3 years after the massacre
On a mountain secluded from most of the world sat the very same group of people who prevented the fall of Aevis, but today they were gathered for a much more joyous occasion. Telarion finally sealed the deal with the elven woman who hugged him all those years ago. Telarion with his long black hair looked a lot more worn then he did during the fight with the mysterious man. It wasn’t because of fighting or anything like that. It was all because of how much of a nervous wreck he was waiting for his child’s birth. As he ran into the room all he could see was his beautiful white haired elven wife laying in bed covered in sweat holding a baby with black rooted hair with white tips. It was a perfect blend of his two parents.
“I don’t think I’ve ever been this nervous in my life before, how do people do this!” Said Telarion as he hastily walked to his wife’s side.
“Only an idiot like you could be more nervous over this than fighting literal gods.” Said the elven lady smiling over her son. This woman’s name was Ariel, and she was the only person known to be able to make Telarion shrink like a rat. He was known as one of the more courageous men around, but before Ariel? He’s a shadow of his former self, completely and utterly tamed.
“Sis we all know some people can’t use their brains, or lack them all together.” A woman who looked eerily similar to Ariel shouted from the other side of the bed. This was Shael, one of three elven sisters. She looked exactly like her sister but with hair only down to her shoulders, and a much more straightforward attitude.
“Oh shut up already you buffoon, we both know you're as big of an idiot as me, remember when you tried to squash—“ before Telarion could finish his sentence Shael tried to choke him. But Ariel interjected, terrifying them both.
“I know you two idiots aren’t trying to fight in front of my newborn son. Are you?”
Instantly both of these incredibly hard headed people shrunk and sat quietly waiting for more people to enter the room. Finally when all the people entered the room Ariel made an announcement which didn’t surprise anyone.
“Now that my son has been born, I’ll be cashing in all those favors you idiots owe me. Also, I won’t be taking no for an answer, so get ready to get bled dry.” Said Ariel with a huge smirk on her face. If there was a word to describe Ariel, it would be shameless. Among many others of course but only a fool would say that to her face.
Thus began the life of Solstice, the half dragon, half elf who would go on to completely and utterly shatter the status quo.
