Ever since he was young he was ostracized by his family, and not knowing the feeling of love, the boy went on his own into the dark forest. The dark forest was home to many monsters and dangerous flora; the only reason he was welcome there was because no one else dared to enter.
The boy had just finished his daily hunt with his friend in tow when they both heard a scream. Not knowing who needed help, the two boys leaped into action to answer the distress call. When the two boys got to the source of the scream, they saw a girl in a beautiful yellow dress with hair to match.
Although it never bothered him the sound, and feeling of the rain woke up him.
The recent events in Sol triggered Alastor’s memories of ‘her’, and the cruel fate that the two of them suffered; for a while, he succeeded in suppressing the memories, but in the end, he couldn’t bring himself to forget about ‘her’.
Alastor sat in the rain alone thinking about his past failures until he felt the need for someone's comfort.
He got up and started walking around aimlessly until he appeared in front of a familiar door with the name “Lilith” imprinted on it. Alastor lifted his hand to knock but hesitated, he knew Lilith was awake but something in the back of his mind stopped him.
Feeling unworthy of her love, Alastor lowered his hand and headed back.
Alastor sat in his spot under the tree, summoning a bottle of dragon poison in the process.
Alastor finished the whole bottle before he had a chance to rethink his choices. He looked up at the storm clouds that encapsulated the entire city and blew a breath, the clouds parted, revealing a beautiful full moon before returning to their original place.
The dragon poison didn’t take long for its effects to take hold, and soon enough, the memory of Alastor holding the body of his dead lover came rushing in.
Alastor stood up unexpectedly and was completely surrounded by darkness. Alastor dried himself off with his fire and lit up torches that lined the walls of the dungeon he had found himself in.
Looking forward, Alastor started his walk down a seemingly endless corridor. Every step he took looked hesitant as if he didn’t want to reach the end.
As he got closer to the end, the memories of her started becoming too much for him to handle.
Alastor found himself in front of the door, trembling, and crying as he laid his hand on it. Alastor pushed open the heavy metal doors and entered the dark, and cold room.
From the light that leaked in he could see a girl with silver hair chained up to the back wall. Alastor closed the door and sat down next to the prisoner. The prisoner didn’t say a word but she laid on Alastor’s lap, and that’s where the two of them stayed for the rest of the night.
It was already noon by the time Alastor got back to Greenville Academy.
The group was at their usual table talking about Lillia’s new power when Alastor sat down next to Lilith, “So Lillia what power did you use to take down all of the guards.”
“It was ‘Link’. The power to create a link between things if they have something in common. Lillia linked everyone that had the shard of heaven’s power.” Alastor interjected.
“You know about it?” Lillia sounded confused.
“Of course. I am the one who created it, and taught it to Abel.”

“Abel?” Lilith asked
“Lillia’s boyfriend” Alastor teased
“He isn’t my boyfriend” Lillia was blushing hard
Lilith was smiling as she talked, “You have a boyfriend? Who is he? How did you two meet?”
“Relax Lilith, she doesn’t have to tell us,” Benjamin stated
In a curious tone, Lilith said, “But I want to know.”
Lillia looked towards Alastor as if she was asking for permission to reveal what had happened.
Alastor nodded
“Fine,” Lillia told everyone how she met Abel and what had happened in the realm of the dead.
Everyone was speechless, but Lilith cut through the tension, “That’s amazing. Being saved by a ‘knight in shining armor’ and then going on a date. On top of that, he trained you and took care of you.”
Lilith turned to Alastor, “How come you never mentioned what happened?”
“It wasn’t my place to tell Lillia’s business.”
Lilith turned back to Lillia “So what’s he like?”
“Well, he’s nice and caring, he’s really strong, and it seems like he actually cares about me.” Lillia was still blushing
Lilith in a happy tone said, “He sounds like an amazing person.”
In a sad tone, Lillia replied, “That’s the problem. He’s too good for me. I feel like I’m not good enough for him.”
Alastor chimed in, “You don’t have to worry about that. You are more than enough, Lillia.”
The bell rang, and all of the students went to their classes.
The group had history class with Mr. Graves, which Lilith always enjoyed. Once the class was seated Mr. Graves began his lecture. “Now students do any of you know why the war with Hell started?”
Nobody answered because no one knew the reason the war started. “The reason the war started is because the King of Hell wanted to impress The Queen of the Demon realm. He thought that taking over the mortal world and offering it to her, would make her fall in love with him.”
Alastor continued for Mr. Graves “However this backfired because The Queen of Hell was never interested in enslaving the ‘mortals’. Instead, she turned her back to him causing him to let out his anger on the mortals.”
Mr. Graves was impressed, “How did you know Alastor? Not a lot of people know the real reason the war started.”
Alastor laid his head on the table and answered, “It’s because I was there when it happened.”
Everyone turned around to look at Alastor who had his eyes shut.
Mr. Graves let out a laugh, “That would be funny if it were true but that war happened over five thousand years ago. You would be very old and wrinkly if that was the case.”
Alastor didn’t respond.
“Mr. Graves Alastor is Asleep,” said Lilith
Mr. Graves looked over and saw Alastor was definitely sleeping. “Well that’s too bad, but we still have a lesson to get through.”
The sound of the bell woke Alastor up, signifying the end of the class.
Lilith and the others went to their final classes, however Alastor skipped his class and went underneath the tree.
He gazed at the clear blue lake as if he was looking at something inside it.
It had been hours that Alastor spent in that position but his eyes never wandered until Lillia sat next to him. “I’m sorry I couldn’t control myself back in Sol.”
Alastor looked away from the lake, “It’s alright. I didn’t expect you to master a living weapon in a week. Besides, you have great control of it already, you just need to refine your control.”
Lillia looked like she wanted to say something, and after a bit, she finally asked, “Do you really think I’m good enough for Abel?”
Alastor faced the lake, “Honestly. I think you are. You are one of the few people I met worthy enough to pass my test. You face danger head-on without asking some god for help or relying on their help.”
Lillia sat there confused about what she heard but she decided not to question it., “That’s good to hear. I was worried Abel wouldn’t accept me because of my lack of power and skill.”
Alastor let out a laugh, “If that was what you were worried about then you have nothing to worry about.” Under his breath, Alastor said, “Other than his true power.”
Lillia stood up, happy with the answer she received. Alastor spent a lot of time looking at the lake, seemingly watching over someone or something. Looking at the lake was the only way Alastor felt he could repent for his past sins.
“So where did you go?”
“Shouldn’t you be dreaming about Lillia in the Realm of the Dead?”
Abel was leaning against the tree with a smug look on his face. “It perplexes me how I can track you no matter where you are, but last night it's like you just vanished off the face of reality altogether.”
Alastor turned to Abel and was displeased at what he saw. Everyone in the dining area and even Lillia were frozen in time. “What did I tell you about messing with time.”
Abel’s tone was serious, “Sorry, I just didn’t want anyone to know I was here. Also, stop deflecting the question. Where did you go?”
Alastor faced Abel, “Kimber.”
“Oh. I was just making sure you didn’t do anything outside the bubble.” Abel turned around, "Also, tell Lillia I said hi"
In the blink of an eye, Abel was gone.
Everyone kept moving as if nothing had happened, and Alastor looked at the lake once more.
