This story is a collaboration between crisp9965 and myself. This story is the continuation of his story on Wattpad titled: The Kingdom between Realms, starting at the chapter "The new residents and training dome" and ending at the beginning of the next chapter. You shouldn't need to read that one to understand the story however if you wish to understand some of the characters better, I'd read his story.

Prologue

"This is a huge thing!" Nate shouts as he rushes inside the apartment his family lives in besides his mother and uncle who lived in a separate house.

"What is?" Molly asks, confused, eyeing her technical son. Nate was created using his dad Crisp's blood and a bit of his mother, the intellectual goddess Molly's dna.

"You got accepted didn't you?" Micheal asks Molly's crush and Crisp's brother.

"YES!" Nate shouts excited.

"Accepted to what?" Alaric asks curious as to why his older adopted brother was so excited.

"I got accepted to go on a deep sea exploration in that new realm that showed up! I sent my application out ages ago and wasn't sure I'd get accepted but I did!" Nate says happily bouncing up and down.

"New realm?" Crisp asks before thinking for a second and remembering it "Oh! That new one that someone almost drowned just entering it...you're going on an exploration of that realm? How exactly?"

Micheal laughs "Don't worry brother. I'll be going along with the exploration since I helped to create the submarine that will take us into the realm"

"What?" Molly asks, looking down sadly.

Micheal blushes "It's only going to be for a few weeks at the most and we should be able to communicate just fine...of course we haven't had a chance to test the systems yet which is why I'm going with them"

Alaric looks toward his father "Are you going with them too?"

Crisp shakes his head "No. I have to attend a meeting with the wanderers that day" he frowns in concern for Nate's safety since the realm was completely unknown and unvisited but he believes Nate will be fine and can handle it.

Nate meanwhile is completely excited, so much so that he looks like a kid in a candy store. Molly laughs "Nate calm down. Still neither Crisp nor myself will be able to come to help if things turn dark...or you sure it's a good idea to go?" She looks worriedly at Micheal.

Micheal gives her a reassuring smile and lightly squeezes her hand "There will always be a danger to anything anyone does but I promise you we both will make it back"

"How can you be sure?" Redacted asks.

"I designed the submarine with added things such as spells to prevent water from getting inside and other things to assist us in any possible situation. The only time any of the expedition team will be in danger is when we have to leave the submarine" Micheal answers smiling lightly "Molly actually helped me by finding the spells I asked her for" He smiles at Molly in an admiring way.

Molly blushes and looks away "So that's why you wanted me to find as many protective type spells that'd work underwater"

Micheal blushes as well "You are the intellectual goddess...who better to find all spells like that then the one who has the connections to the ancient library" under his breath he adds "And is more beautiful than anyone else"

"Hm?" Molly tilts her head and Micheal coughs.

"Anyways, better make sure you're ready cause in a week, we're going to the Deep Sea realm" Micheal says before he and Molly head for their house.
