Not only does he seem to actively avoid setting foot outside of Sanctuary—often sending Messengers or borrowing Fos to do the jobs instead—but even within Sanctuary, it seems he only does what he needs to. He’s more than capable of putting in good work, though… as long as you give him a good reason to.
