The Dance part 2 (Tammy’s breakdown)

The Dance part 2 (Tammy’s breakdown)

Things seem to be going pretty smoothly with how couples from each group would return to send off the next pair, so much so that I think that they must have organized the order in the days prior when I wasn’t paying attention.

Its about this time that I noticed that it was Tammy and Samson’s turn to head off to be intimate with each other.

It was only shortly after leaving the ballroom that they were in the hallway towards the rooms when I felt something was off with Tammy.

She had definitely started slowing down her usual pace and started being fidgety, so I thought I had better pay attention to be ready to help where I could if needed.

Samson also noticed her hesitation and slowed down as well and he instead began walking closely with her as he tried to carry on a conversation with her.

He seemed to be trying his best to cheer her up and calm her nerves with simple every day pleasantries and asking how she’s been feeling and if she’s been enjoying the festivities so far.

Hoping to get her in the mood and past her nervousness he showers her with praise from her looks to dancing and singing as well as her intelligence and other talents and skills.

She slows down to a stop with her face blushing enough to notice even with her dark skin.

Samson seems to take this as a sign that she might be ready, so he places one of his hands on the wall next to her and goes to place his other hand behind her as he starts to lean in to kiss her.

Tammy tenses up when he puts his hand on the wall and she freezes as the other starts to go around her, then she panics as he goes in for a kiss!

She leaves her claw marks along his face as she tries to push him away in her frantic and wide eyed state she cries out in panicked throat strained sobbing screams!

It’s hard to make out precisely what she’s saying as her panic has her jumbling everything up together.

But it’s clear she’s repeating various no’s and saying that she’s scared over and over as she slumps to the ground against the wall, clearly having a panic attack as her breathing is frantic and restricted from the tension in her neck.

Samson is shocked and even after a short moment of recognizing that he’s bleeding he focuses on Tammy and her current state.

He panics and starts crying out for help, not for himself but for Tammy as he doesn’t know what to do and he seems to be frightened that he’s done something horribly wrong.

I have alerted Luna of the emergency situation as I used my figure to grab her hand and start running to Tammy’s location, granted I had to make multiple new figures along the way to avoid getting too tangled up and so I didn’t fully make them like the one during the dance.

Clearly a lot of people noticed the commotion and a few people followed while others tried to regain the children’s attention.

I quickly prepared calming herbs and hot water for Tammy while I try getting everyone needed to help her to her as quickly as I can manage.

Tammy’s parents and brother were the ones who I prioritized in getting to her while I blocked off the route for any men unrelated to Tammy’s situation.

Luna and Tammy’s mom Tina were immediately set to the task of calming and comforting Tammy as soon as they arrived.

Unfortunately Tom seems to have misunderstood what happened even with Samson having been head calling for help.

I had to move my sloppily formed figure in between them as both Tim and Tom were about to attack Samson.

I tried to convey what happened accurately but it takes a while for them to calm down and drop the hostility towards Samson.

Luckily Tammy’s panic attack calmed down just enough that she was able to solve the issue by explaining that she had a panic attack because he tried to kiss her and she had a flashback of when she was raped even though he didn’t hurt her and had been nothing but nice to her.

Her words were a jumbled mess as her sobbing never stopped and her nose is running, its a good thing her mother and father knew what she was saying because I could barely decipher what she was saying and I had watched what happened myself!

She hadn’t intended to hurt him either as clawing him was an accident which made her panic attack worse, she kept trying to apologize as if she was afraid that he would retaliate if she didn’t appease him.

Which Luna was able to guess that Tammy was afraid that he would retaliate against her like the bandits had when she tried fighting back to get away from them and they responded by beating her unconscious as they gang raped her.

She felt like it had suddenly happened again even though it didn’t, just leaving her scared and confused more than anything she kept apologizing and weeping.

Tammy also started apologizing to her mother for failing to be able to attempt to have babies together as she wanted to have that mother daughter bonding experience like in the storybooks but she just can’t do it because she can’t forget about what those men did to her.

Finally communicating what should have been talked about a long time ago but where she feared that she had failed her family her mother soothed her with careful consideration.

Tina, “I’m so sorry for having pushed you into trying to do something that you weren’t ready for, especially since you were still dealing with the trauma of that incident.

It was real thoughtless of me to have believed that you had gotten better so soon, I think that I was just pushing my own hopeful wishing on you because I didn’t want you to be scared forever.

I thought that the best way to help you get over the horrible experience you had was to have it overwritten with a good intimate relationship with someone who would be kind and gentle with you.

I’m sorry for having rushed you and not waiting for you to be the one to tell us when you’re ready to take the next step to recover, I just don’t want you to end up alone because you can’t move on from this mess.”

Tammy cries and embraces her mother her speech still difficult to decipher through her strained sobbing.

I can only guess that she’s apologizing for not saying anything about her situation sooner and that she kept quiet as she was forcing herself because she wanted her family to be happy, she just didn’t want them to worry all the time and she wanted everything to go back to how it was before she was attacked and raped.

She doesn’t like living in fear all the time but she just can’t escape it, be it her fear and anxiety around others or the nightmares that have haunted her ever since the incident.

I finished the calming herbal tea with Luna’s assistance and Luna served it to Tammy who’s now wrapped in a blanket and being held by her mother.

I had softened the floor and wall she was sitting on to help her be as comfortable as possible.

The girls seem to have a handle on things with Tammy now and although I keep most of my awareness on them in case they need anything at all, I know that the situation with Samson also needs attention.

I provided salveaid for treating his wounds while he spoke with Tim and Tom about what happened from his point of view.

He apparently wanted to take things slowly since they would have more than one time to get away from the ballroom, he wanted to see if she would be receptive to kissing before trying to see if she would be comfortable doing anything more intimate.

He was even planning that if she wasn’t ready for sex then he was going to wait even though he really does want to have sex with her he wants her to enjoy it.

So even if she was only ready for kissing he would just aim to give her the best kissing experience possible during the winter dance festivities.

He was hopeful that he could really establish their relationship as a couple even if all they did was hold hands, talk with each other and kiss.

Had he known that she would have such a breakdown then he would have just walked around and talked with her the whole time so that she could get comfortable with him over time, even if he didn’t get to kiss her it would have been better than having hurt her unintentionally.

The regret is so evident in his face as he looks like he is also about to break down in tears, but he tries to keep himself together because he is afraid of possibly aggravating Tammy’s situation even further.

He decides that he should back down for now and just try to love her from a distance, he will help keep other guys away from her and he will leave her gifts and speak to her from a distance until she is ready to approach him.

He has also decided to train to fight seriously so he can help kill all the bandits that had made Tammy go through this horrible situation in the first place, because just maybe if she knew that her attackers were dead and unable to hurt her ever again then maybe she might recover sooner.

Tom and Tim agreed as they both had planned to do the same to help reassure Tammy that it would never happen to her again.

They have already been training whenever they go out hunting and they invite Samson to join them as they have been getting the Hunter to teach them how to improve their skills with different weapons and traps.

The conversations wrapped up and it was decided that Tammy would need to go lay down and rest so Luna and Tina take her back to her room while the guys head back to the ballroom.

Everything seems to have been settled and the situation that’s left is the curiosity of others who’s attention was drawn when I had led Luna and Tammy’s folks out in a rush.
