Finishing my promotion quest a day early, I decided to take a rest. I have finally ranked up to A-rank making me one of the few A-rankers of the guild. After a night's rest, I decided to take some A-rank quests. I went to the guild and looked at the A-rank quests available. Gathering and exploration type quests are too complicated to do for now, so I decided to choose some slaying quests.
Using the secret skill of Dragon's Roar, Roaming the Skies, I leaped into the air and flew quickly towards Redon Cave in the Sand Desert. I heard that there is a Queen Insect (of the Hard Beetles) in the cave. Upon arriving at the cave, I first took a shot of Rhino/Bear Blood Wine - boosting my stamina, strength, defense, and vitality. After preparing, I ventured in. Walking down the tunnel, I encounter many Hard Beetles. These Hard Beetles are big like King Beetles...some grows to the size of a Queen Beetle. The difference between Hard Beetles and King Beetles is the hardness of the carapace. However, even with the tougher carapace, the Hard Beetles still die under my Dragon Palm which utilizes shockwaves to damage the internal organs. After killing a number of Hard Beetles, I found a large room. At the center of the room rests a huge beetle...it was at least ten times larger than the average Hard Beetle with eggs popping out of it at a constant rate.
The Queen Insect sees me and its antennas started to move. Soon, tens of Hard Beetles appeared to defend their queen. I rushed towards the nearest Hard Beetle and Dragon Palm it on its side. The shockwave of the attack disrupts and ruptures the internal organs of the Hard Beetle. Before confirming its death, I Dragon Leap towards two Hard Beetles, lifting them off the ground and I Ferocious Dragon Tail one while Dragon Ram the other. Both attacks were powerful and sharp, thus allowed me to one-hit kill the two Hard Beetles. After killing three Hard Beetles, a path to the Queen Insect was cleared. I charged towards the Queen Insect and rolled to the side as it spat a mouthful of acid at me. Rolling to the side of the Queen Insect, I could sense its fear and panic. With a Dragon Palm and a Dragon Horn, I ruptured the Queen Insect's internal organs and pierced open its hard shell to let the bloody mess flow out. After a while, the Queen Insect died and the summoned Hard Beetles became listless at the loss of their queen.
Done, I left the cave and used Roaming the Skies to head east towards the Wyvern's Nest in the East Barrier Mountains.
..........
Nearing the Wyvern's Nest, I see a Wyvern fighting a Roc. Amazingly, the B-rank Wyvern was on par with the A-rank Roc...maybe because they are fighting on the Wyvern's home turf. So, why is a Roc all the way out here on unfamiliar grounds? Did something happen to its territory? Landing on the peak of a mountain close by, I observed the two flying creatures fighting. Waiting for them to exhaust themselves, I took out my Ghost Mask and transformed. Seeing the two creatures break apart and exhaustingly land on the peaks of two adjacent mountains, I decided to make my move on the closest one - the Roc. I snuck up behind the Roc in my invisible ghost form. With a jump, I phased my hand into the head of the Roc and quickly phase out its brain. The Roc immediately bled from its head and then collapsed. I quickly disposed of the brain and hid myself. The Wyvern, seeing the Roc collapse, flew over to investigate.

When the Wyvern chomped on the Roc's neck to make sure it was dead, I appeared before the Wyvern and took out my skinning knife. With one fell swoop, I beheaded the Wyvern. Then, I stored both corpses into my storage ring.

Using Roaming the Skies skill again, I flew east towards the Jungle Lord's Abode in Rainforest Vale. Rumors has it that there are quite a few number of Guardian Dragons in the vicinity. Upon arriving near the vicinity, I landed and quickly transformed into a ghost. I ventured towards the abode quietly when suddenly, a blast attack shot towards me. I quickly dodged the incoming blast attack. How did the Guardian Dragon know I was coming? Oh...stupid question...Morian must have notified it of my presence. With my cover blown, I revert back to human form and pulled out my skinning knife.
The Guardian Dragon charged towards me while launching a few mud blasts. An Earth Dragon eh? I dodged the blasts by rolling forward and fired a few fireballs at it. Of course, being of Earth-type, the dragon didn't receive much damage even with the constant burning of the everlasting fire. The Guardian Dragon swiped its tail at me, which I blocked with Tail Guard. Then, I Dragon Swipe and Dragon Bite at the dragon. The dragon swiped its front claws at me and pushed away my attacks. I jumped in the air and Dragon Leap, causing a small earthquake and unsettle the dragon's balance.
As the dragon tried to stabilize itself, I rushed in and Dragon Claw it. The dragon leaped backwards to dodge the attack but was still nicked, a small trickle of blood flowed out. I used my skill of Blood Manipulation to forcibly draw out the blood from the dragon's wound. Suffering from the large blood loss, the dragon stumbled and collapsed. As it tried to get up, I appeared at its side and Dragon Palm it. With a boom, I ruptured some of the dragon's internal organs. The dragon collapsed in pain. I approached its head and Dragon Horn it...spearing my fist into its head - killing it immediately. I stored the body and left towards the ocean for my last quest.
Once I arrived at the ocean, I continued to float in the air. I fired a few fireballs fueled with the Flames of Wrath at the Pirate Ship below me. I could see many pirates jumping off the ship to escape the fire. The Pirate Ship soon collapsed from the burning and sank to the bottom of the ocean.
Finished, I headed back to the guild to report my completions.
